The package for the BOSCH FLEXDOME 3100I IR NDE-3703-AL-IO includes:

• The camera unit with base

• A TR20 security tool

• A drilling template sticker

• A packet of screws and accessories

To open the camera housing, use the included TR20 tool to loosen the captive screws on the side of the dome cover. This will allow you to separate the dome cover from the camera base.

After opening the camera housing, locate the MicroSD card slot inside the camera module. Push the MicroSD card into the slot until it clicks into place. The reset button (RST) is located next to the card slot.

To ensure a proper weather seal when passing the cable through the camera base, the cable diameter must be greater than 3.2mm. For the larger rubber seal piece, the cable diameter should be between 5mm and 8mm inclusive.

The BOSCH FLEXDOME 3100I IR NDE-3703-AL-IO supports two power options:

• Power over Ethernet (PoE): Connect an Ethernet cable from a PoE-enabled network switch or injector to the camera’s RJ45 port.

• 24VAC: Connect a 24VAC power supply to the designated power input terminals on the connection block.

The camera features a terminal block for audio and alarm connections. You should strip approximately 8 mm (0.31″) of insulation from the ends of the wires before inserting them into the terminals.

• For Audio: Use the terminals labeled OUT, IN, and GND.

• For Alarm: Use the terminals labeled IN, GND, and OUT.

When mounting the camera base directly to a surface, you should use M4#7 screws with a minimum length of 30mm (or 1 3/16 inches).

Step 1. Place the supplied drilling template sticker on the desired mounting surface.

Step 2. Drill the pilot holes as indicated on the template.

Step 3. Route the necessary cables through the opening in the camera base and seal with the appropriate rubber grommet.

Step 4. Align the camera base with the drilled holes and secure it using two appropriate screws (M4#7, >=30mm). An optional surface mount box (NDA-3083-SMB) can also be used for mounting.

After the camera base is mounted and before the dome cover is attached, you can manually adjust the camera lens assembly. The lens can be rotated horizontally up to 355° and tilted vertically up to 85° to achieve the desired viewing angle.

Align the dome cover with the camera base and push it into place. Use the included TR20 tool to tighten the security screws on the side of the dome. For a proper seal, tighten the screws to a torque of 0.7 N-m (0.5 lb-ft).
