Only use this appliance:

under supervision.

for normal processing quantities and for normal processing times for domestic use.

in private households and in enclosed spaces in a domestic environment at room temperature.

up to an altitude of max. 2000 m above sea level.

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when:

not using the appliance.

the appliance is unattended.

assembling the appliance.

taking the appliance apart.

cleaning the appliance.

approaching rotating parts.

confronted with a fault.

The appliance must not be used by children. Keep children away from the appliance and power cord.

Never operate a damaged appliance or an appliance with a cracked or fractured surface.

Never pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance. Always unplug the appliance at the mains.

If the appliance or the power cord is damaged, immediately unplug the power cord or switch off the fuse in the fuse box.

Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the specifications on the rating plate.

Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out by trained specialist staff.

Never immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or clean in the dishwasher.

Never let the power cord come into contact with hot appliance parts, heat sources, or sharp points or edges.

Never kink, crush or modify the power cord.

Never place the appliance on or near hot surfaces.

Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming. Add a maximum of 1000 ml of hot or frothing food.

Do not process food that is hotter than 50 °C in the To-Go blender jug.

Do not process food that is hotter than 70 °C in the blender jug.

Parts which show cracks or other damage or do not fit correctly must be replaced with genuine spare parts.

Only use the appliance once it is fully assembled.

When cleaning and emptying the blender jug, watch out for the sharp blades. Never touch the edges of the blades with bare hands.

Keep packaging material and small parts away from children.

Do not operate the appliance at no-load.

Do not exceed maximum processing quantities.

Never use the blender jug in the microwave or oven.

Before use, check the blender jug for foreign objects and remove them.

Do not insert any objects in the blender jug except the pusher, e.g. knife or spoon.

After unpacking all parts, check for any damage in transit and completeness of the delivery.

Note: Item 11 is a Pusher, as referenced in other sections.

The rotary switch is used to start and stop processing and select the speed.

Tip: You can adjust the speed steplessly between min and max.

Start lock-out

Start lock-out prevents your appliance from being switched on accidentally. You can switch on and operate the appliance once the blender jug has been correctly positioned and the lid is locked.

Overload protection

The overload protection system prevents the motor and other components from being damaged through being overloaded.

Observe the recommended quantities, settings, processing times and other information.

Fill the blender jug and the To-Go blender jug in the following order: liquids, seeds and nuts, fresh fruit and vegetables, leaf vegetables, frozen fruit and vegetables, ice.

Before blending in the blender jug, cut the ingredients into cubes approx. 2 cm in size. For the To-Go blender jug, cut into cubes of approx. 1 cm.

Use instantaneous switching to blend ingredients only briefly or in intervals.

1. Place the appliance on a stable, level, clean and flat work surface.

2. Adjust the power cable to the required length.

– To shorten the cord, push it into the cord storage compartment.

– To lengthen the cord again, pull it out of the cord storage compartment.

3. Do not insert the mains plug.

Check the seal on the EasyClick blade insert. If a seal has been removed, reinsert it correctly.

If the seal is damaged or not correctly positioned, liquid may run out.

Follow the diagrams in the manual for detailed steps on assembling the blender jug, adding ingredients, using the pusher, and emptying the jug. The general procedure involves placing the prepared blender jug on the main unit, adding ingredients through the lid opening, using the pusher if necessary to guide food towards the blades, and then pouring out the contents once blending is complete.

Refer to the diagrams in the manual for the step-by-step procedure. This involves filling the To-Go jug with ingredients, attaching the To-Go blade insert, placing it on the main unit to blend, and then replacing the blade insert with the drinking lid for portability.

The speed and processing time for different operations are controlled by the automatic programmes.

Note the programme restrictions depending on the attachment selected:

Requirement: Appliance and blender jug or To-Go Blender jug are prepared.

1. Set the rotary switch to ‘on’. The status display (LED) on the rotary switch lights up.

2. Press the required programme button. The status display goes out and the LED on the programme button selected lights up.

3. When the end of the programme is reached, the appliance stops processing. The LED on the programme button goes out and the status display (LED) on the rotary switch lights up.

4. Set the rotary switch to 0.

Tip: To stop the programme prematurely, either press a programme button or set the rotary switch to 0.

Clean all parts immediately after use so that residues do not dry on.

Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol or spirits.

Do not use sharp, pointed or metal objects.

Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaning agents.

Never set the blade insert down with the blade facing downwards.

Tip: Use the cleaning programme to pre-clean the blender jug.

Clean the individual parts as indicated in the cleaning table. Separate the assembled parts before cleaning.

Do not use it to chop ingredients like almonds, onions, parsley and meat.

It is only possible to mix spreads, such as peanut butter, coconut butter or nut spreads, with the pusher.

The blender cannot be used to make mayonnaise.

Never mix ingredients without any liquid. Use sufficient liquid when mixing solid food.

Mix powdered food with sufficient liquid before blending, or dissolve it entirely in liquid. Examples of powdered food include icing sugar, cocoa powder, roasted soybeans, flour, protein powder.

If the ingredients in the blender jug are not going round and being properly mixed, use the pusher to press the ingredients down.

Ingredients:

250 g honey (cold, 7-9 °C)

5 g cinnamon

200 g milk (warm, 65 °C)

Preparation:

1. Add the honey and cinnamon to the blender.

2. Blend the ingredients for 5 seconds at level max.

3. Add the milk.

4. Blend the ingredients for 5 seconds at level max.

The mains plug of the power cord is not plugged in.

Connect the appliance to the power supply.

The circuit breaker in the fuse box has tripped.

Check the circuit breaker in the fuse box.

There has been a power cut.

Check whether the lighting in your room or other appliances are working.

The lid or blender jug are not locked or were removed during processing.

Set the rotary switch to 0.

1. Place the blender jug on the main unit and turn clockwise until it engages.

2. Turn the lid in the direction of the close-lock symbol until it engages. The colour of the lock indicator for the lid changes from red to green.

The programme was cancelled using the rotary switch.

Set the rotary switch to ‘on’.

The blade is blocked or stiff.

Set the rotary switch to 0.

Remove the blockage.

Processing quantity is too big or processing time was too long.

Set the rotary switch to 0.

Reduce the processing quantity.

Allow the appliance to cool down to room temperature.

The rotary switch is not set to ‘on’.

Set the rotary switch to ‘on’.

The programme has been cancelled using the programme button.

1. Set the rotary switch to ‘on’.

2. Press the programme button for the required programme.

The seal between the blender jug and the blade insert is missing.

Fit the seal on the EasyClick blade insert.

The To-Go blade insert is not screwed on correctly and the safety catch prevents it from being put on.

Turn the To-Go blade insert clockwise as far as possible. The markings must match up.

The seal is missing from the lid.

Insert the seal.
