No. The AXIS M1075-L must be installed and used in strict accordance with the instructions given in the user documentation. This equipment contains no user-serviceable components. Unauthorized equipment changes or modifications will invalidate all applicable regulatory certifications and approvals.

The AXIS M1075-L complies with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 ed. 3, for the safety of audio/video and IT equipment for indoor use.

• If its connecting cables are routed outdoors, the product must be grounded either through a shielded network cable (STP) or another appropriate method.

• When used with Power over Ethernet (PoE), the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) must comply with IEEE 802.3af and Limited Power Source (LPS) according to clause 2.5 of IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 or annex Q of IEC/EN/UL 62368-1. It is recommended to use Axis midspans or Axis PoE switches.

• The product also fulfills the requirements for photobiological safety according to IEC/EN 62471 (exempt).

When the AXIS M1075-L has reached the end of its useful life, dispose of it according to local laws and regulations. The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that the product should not be disposed of with household or commercial waste. To prevent potential harm to human health and the environment, the product must be disposed of in an approved and environmentally safe recycling process. Hazard Levels

Please follow these safety instructions:

• The Axis product shall be used in compliance with local laws and regulations.

• Axis recommends using a shielded network cable (STP).

• Store the Axis product in a dry and ventilated environment.

• Avoid exposing the Axis product to shocks, heavy pressure, or vibration.

• Do not install the product on unstable or vibrating poles, brackets, surfaces, or walls.

• Use only applicable tools when installing the Axis product. Using excessive force with power tools could cause damage to the product.

• Use only accessories that comply with the technical specification of your product. These can be provided by Axis or a third party.

• Use only spare parts provided by or recommended by Axis.

• Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact Axis support or your Axis reseller for service matters.

Do not use chemicals, caustic agents, or aerosol cleaners. For cleaning, use a clean cloth dampened with pure water.

When transporting the AXIS M1075-L, use the original packaging or equivalent to prevent damage to the product.

Low battery power affects the operation of the Real-Time Clock (RTC), causing it to reset at every power-up. When the battery voltage is low, a log message will appear in the product’s server report. Do not replace the battery yourself. Contact Axis support if the log message requests a battery change. The Lithium coin cell 3.0 V batteries contain 1,2-dimethoxyethane; ethylene glycol dimethyl ether (EGDME), CAS no. 110-71-4.

The recommended mounting height is 2.2–2.5 m (7.2–8.2 ft). Ensure the bracket is level before securing it.

For Wall Mounting (flat surface):

1. Press the two release catches on the mounting bracket and use it as a template to mark the position for two screw holes on the wall.

2. Drill the holes and insert the screws. Do not use countersunk screws, as they may not secure the bracket properly.

For Corner Mounting:

1. Press the two release catches on the mounting bracket and use the corner holes as a template to mark the position for two screw holes in the corner.

2. Drill the holes and insert the screws. Do not use countersunk screws.

Follow these steps to make the necessary connections:

1. microSD Card (Optional): Insert a microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card into the designated slot for local storage.

2. HDMI Connection (Optional): Connect an HDMI Type D cable to the HDMI port on the camera and the other end to a monitor.

3. I/O Connection (Optional): Connect the I/O terminal block for input/output devices.

4. Power and Network: Connect a Power over Ethernet (PoE) network cable to the camera’s network port. An indicator light should turn on, confirming that the camera is receiving power.

1. After mounting the bracket and connecting the necessary cables, attach the AXIS M1075-L camera to the mounting bracket until it clicks firmly into place.

2. To find the camera on your network and complete the setup, use either AXIS IP Utility or AXIS Device Manager software.
