To prepare the PYLE PMP63IN for use with disposable batteries:

Step 1. Open the Back Cover.

Step 2. Remove the plastic battery sleeve and insert 8 nos. UM-2 cells with correct polarity.

Step 3. Insert the sleeve into the battery compartment according to the instructions in the compartment.

Step 4. Close the back cover until it locks. Now your megaphone is ready for action.

To prepare the PYLE PMP63IN for use with a rechargeable battery:

Step 1. Open the back cover.

Step 2. Remove the plastic battery sleeve and insert one 12V rechargeable battery.

Step 3. Close the back cover until it locks.

To perform a TALK Operation on the PYLE PMP63IN:

Step 1. Dial the toggle switch to MIC.

Step 2. Press the power key on MIC, the indicator lights up, and then you can speak into the microphone.

Once the power switch is toggled to ON, press the POWER on the MIC, then the indicator lights up. Now the megaphone is ready for the following function operation:

TALK Operation: Mic is powered on without pressing any key, the microphone can be used as propaganda amplification.

Short press SIREN to play alarm sound. Press again to turn off.

Short press on the WHISTLE to activate whistle sound. Press again to turn off.

Short press AIR to broadcast 119 sound. Press again to turn off.

AUX Operation: Connect one end of your phone or MP3 player with 3.5 audio cable, and insert the AUX of mic into the other end to play.

The steps to replace the 8 type-C (UM-2) batteries in the PYLE PMP63IN are:

Step 1. Loosen the locking screw of the battery compartment cover on the back of the body. The battery compartment cover comes off.

Step 2. Insert 8 x type-C (UM-2) batteries in the battery case observing correct polarity.

Step 3. Insert the battery case with batteries into the battery compartment of the megaphone, paying attention to polarity.

The steps to replace the rechargeable batteries in the PYLE PMP63IN are:

Step 1. Open the back cover.

Step 2. Remove the plastic battery sleeve and insert the rechargeable battery.

Step 3. Clock the back cover until it locks.

Notes to observe when using batteries in the PYLE PMP63IN megaphone:

1. Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly, observe correct polarity.

2. Charge the battery for 6-8 hours in 110-220V before first use.

3. When the megaphone is not in use for a long period of time, remove the dry cells and replace.

4. Drained cells or rechargeable battery will not give sufficient sound volume.

5. After the lithium battery is fully charged, the indicator light will turn red into green.

6. Switch the button to OFF if you have finished using the megaphone.
