Before installing your PREMIUM PCH767DR, please follow these requirements:

1. Do not install the cooker hood where there are many doors or windows, as this can affect the exhaust efficiency of the hood due to air convection.

2. Install the cooker hood directly above the hob. The recommended distance between the hob and the lower edge of the cooker hood is a minimum of 650mm and a maximum of 700mm.

3. For optimal performance, do not elongate the exhaust pipe too long. Try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe less and bigger, and ensure the connection is airproof.

4. After hanging the unit on the wall, ensure the hood is level and vertical.

5. The air outlet must not be connected to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts. Under no circumstances should the air outlet be connected to ventilation ducts for a room in which fuel-burning appliances are installed.

SAFETY WARNING: THE HOOD MAY HAVE VERY SHARP EDGES; PLEASE WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES IF IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE ANY PARTS FOR INSTALLING, CLEANING OR SERVICING.

Step 1: Please put the cooker hood on the wall and mark the position where you want to install. We recommend the height from the hob to the lower edge of the hood should be from 650mm to 700mm.

Step 2: Mark four holes in the wall. Drill 4 holes of 8mm diameter and 60-70mm in depth in the wall where you marked. Press the 4 expanding tubes into the holes. Tighten the 4 wood screws of 5x60mm which are supplied with the hood to the expanding tube. Make sure it’s fixed enough and cannot move.

Step 3: Hang the cooker hood on the 2 wood screws. Tighten the 2 wood screws from the position of the filters to the expanding tube. If the hood has a little acclivity, use the adjustable screws to adjust it to level.

Step 4: Fix the exhaust pipe (153 diameter side) to the shutter.

Step 5: Fix the hook to the inner chimney with M4 screws.

Step 6: Put the inner chimney into the outer chimney. Please kindly note that the inner chimney must fix to the outer chimney’s orientation slot.

Step 7: Put the outer chimney to the unit body, and use two M4X10 screws to fix the outer chimney to the unit body.

Step 8: Extend the inner chimney to the desired height and mark the two holes of the inner chimney’s hook on the wall. Put down the inner duct cover gently, and use an 8mm drill to drill two holes 60-70 mm deep on the wall where you marked. Press the expanding tube into the holes. Extend the inner chimney and tighten it to the expanding tubes with two 5×60 wood screws.

Step 9: Extend the exhaust pipe to the vent pipe of your building or to the outside. Try to make the bend of the exhaust pipe more than 120°.

Step 10: Install the filter. Put the fix pin to the fix hole and press down the filter’s clip gently in the direction of arrow A.

The control panel on your PREMIUM PCH767DR has the following functions:

Timer/Clock Button:

• Timer: When the hood is working, touch this button once to set the timer. Each additional touch adds one minute. The maximum time you can set is 60 minutes.

• Clock: When the hood is not working, touch this button for 3 seconds. The display will show “88:88”. You can use the Fan button to set the “hour” and the Light button to set the “minute”. When the hood is OFF, keep touching this button for 3 seconds, and then the hood clock will be set.

Fan Button:

• Touch this button once, the motor works in high speed.

• Touch this button again, the middle speed runs.

• Touch the button a third time, the low speed runs.

• The motor stops after touching it a fourth time.

Light Button:

• Touch this button once, the lamp will be lighted.

• Touch again, the lamp will extinguish.

Motor On/Off Button:

• Touch this button once when the hood is working; it will prolong the working time by one minute.

• Touch it two times; it will turn off at once.

CAUTION: NEVER PUT YOUR HAND INTO THE AREA HOUSING WHILE THE FAN IS OPERATING.

For the optimal level of operation, clean the range hood surface, fan, and filter regularly.

1. Use only mild soap or detergent solutions to clean the cooker hood surface. Dry surfaces using a soft cloth.

2. Use a stainless steel cleaner to bring the glow back into a stainless steel finish.

3. Clean the aluminium filter once a week or according to use status. Press the buckle of the aluminium filter slightly, take off the aluminium filter and put it into warm soapy water using mild detergent, then wipe the filter with a soft brush. Replace the filter after it is dry.

4. Clean the motor fan and other inside parts once every half year or according to use by a QUALIFIED PERSON.

5. DO NOT clean the motor with water or other liquid.

Caution: The lamp unit may be hot! Wait until the unit is cool. Use the same type of lamp or light bulb. Make sure all control switches are off, and the cooker hood is unplugged.

Warning: Make sure the bulb is cool before you touch it!

To replace an LED lamp unit:

1. Take out the filters, and cut off the wire connection of the lamp.

2. Press the spring according to the arrow direction, then you can take off the lamp unit.

3. You can replace a new LED lamp unit of no more than the original rating.

4. Then put the lamp unit back into the hood in the reverse direction. Connect the wire of the lamp.

5. Fit on the filters.

To replace a normal lamp bulb:

1. Take out the filters.

2. Loosen the old light bulb.

3. Replace it with a new light bulb of the same type and no more than the original rating.

4. Fit on the filters.

• Do not connect the air outlet to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts.

• Do not leave naked flames under this hood.

• In case of any damage to the power cable, replace the broken cable with a new one by a qualified person.

• Clean the hood correctly in accordance with the instructions stated, or it might cause the possibility of a fire accident.

• To replace the bulb, the task should be undertaken by a qualified electrician or a competent person. Always use a bulb with no more than the specified rating.

• Dress in protective gloves before you start to clean the hood. Remove the components gently during carrying out the clearance.

• Never wash the control switch with water or other kind of liquid to avoid the liquid causing an electrical problem to the hood.

• Cleaning the motor fan should be undertaken by a qualified person. Pay top attention to avoid any distortion of the fan during carrying out the clearance.

• Never pull the plug out of the power supply by wet hand to avoid the possibility of electric shock.

• Disconnect the cooker hood from the power supply if this appliance will not be used for a long time.

CAUTION: Disconnect the power supply before servicing.

The lamp works but the motor does not run	a) Remove the vane guard and rotate the vane by hand. If the vane cannot move smoothly, the core or bearings of the motor may be damaged. In this case, replace with a new motor. b) If the motor stops running and has a bad odor after a moment of operation, the motor wires may be burnt out. Replace the motor. c) If the starting wire (yellow) is disengaged from the condenser, it needs to be rewired. d) If the condenser is damaged, replace with a new one.	“+” type Screwdriver
The lamp works but the motor does not run	a) Take off the filter and check if the connection between the air inlet and wind chamber is sealed. b) Check if the connection between the air exhaust pipe and wind chamber leaks oil. If “YES”, please fill it up with varnish or thinner.	“+” type Screwdriver
Machine vibration	a) If the motors were not firmly screwed, screw tighten them up. b) If the vane is damaged or unbalanced, replace with a new one.	“+” type Screwdriver
Weakness suction	a) The distance is too far between the Range Hood and the Gas Cooker. b) There are many windows (doors) causing wind convection that is too strong. c) Because the Range Hood is set upon the window, the best solution is to put one three-ply board on the back of the Range Hood for covering the hollow of the window.	“+” type Screwdriver
Installation of the model is tilted	a) Adjust the height of the model where it is hung on the ceiling. b) If the model tilts forward, lock it into the wall with a wood screw again (the screw should peep out around 0.5 ~ 1 cm from the wall), or check if the screws for fixing the model are loose or not.	“+” type Screwdriver
Bulb does not light	Just screw off the lamp shade and replace with a new bulb, then put the lamp shade back.	“+” type Screwdriver
