Please adhere to the following safety warnings when using your PETLIBRO EASY FEED PLAF003:

• Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Some items may be packed in plastic bags; these bags could cause suffocation; keep away from children and pets.

• Do NOT allow small children to play with, in or around the pet feeder.

• To reduce the risk of injury, please keep close supervision when an appliance is used near children.

• Do NOT use the feeder with pets not able to reach the food tray or with any physical disability.

• Do NOT immerse the base part in water at any time as it may damage electronic components like the control panel.

• Do NOT place any foreign object in the pet feeder.

• Do NOT use outdoors. Check operation frequently to be sure the unit is dispensing properly.

• Do NOT use wet, canned or moist food.

• Do NOT disassemble the unit other than as instructed in this User Guide.

• Do NOT use the feeder for anything other than its intended use.

• Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition. Do not modify the pet feeder.

• Do not operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the pet feeder yourself. Contact customer service immediately for further instructions.

• Always unplug when not in use and before cleaning.

• Never pull on the electrical power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet.

• If the plug of this device gets wet, turn on electricity to that wall outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.

• Examine the feeder after installation. Do not plug in if there is water on the power cord or plug.

• To avoid tripping, always position power cord out of the way of foot traffic.

Please observe the following cautions for the PETLIBRO EASY FEED PLAF003:

• Do NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. If you are concerned about the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a hard-plastic protector) at any hardware store to protect the power cord.

• If an extension cord is necessary, one unit with a proper rating should be used.

• Do NOT install or store the pet feeder where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below 4°C / 40°F.

• Use alkaline D batteries to power. Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.

• Check the batteries regularly. Before leaving for extended time, always replace batteries with new ones.

• Do NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, food tank, or food tray. Lift and carry it using both hands and the base, while keeping the unit in an upright position.

• Suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 2-15mm / 0.07-0.6in in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.

• Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet feeder and in the packaging.

The LCD Display shows the following information:

1. Time Setting

2. Manual Feeding

3. Meal (1-6)

4. Time (24H format)

5. Battery level

6. Low Food Storage Alert

7. Meal Call Setting

*Note: About 0.06cup/1tbsp/15ml per portion. Keep pressing the Record Button during recording.

1. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder.

2. Insert the Micro USB power cord into the connector on the bottom and extend the power cord out along the designed wire slot.

3. Close the battery compartment.

4. Turn on the power switch.

The LCD display will light up automatically, indicating the feeder is on.

Notes:

• Battery NOT included.

• Before connecting to power, make sure all parts are clean and completely dry.

• You could also put in 3 pieces of D cell batteries, so that the feeder can still work according to your scheduled feeding plan even during an outage.

• The battery level icon on the display blinks on a low battery level.

1. Place the feeder in a desired location. Check that the food tank is in place.

2. Place the feeding tray into the feeder from the front.

Please set the current time before setting up a feeding plan.

1. Long press the Setting Button for 3 seconds. The Time Setting icon will start to flash, indicating it is in settings mode.

2. Press the Confirm/OK Button to enter the time setting. The hour will flash.

3. Use the Up/Down Buttons to set the hour (24H format). You can long press the Up/Down Button for fast setting.

4. Press the Confirm/OK Button to confirm the hour. The minute will start to flash.

5. Press the Up/Down Button to set the minute.

6. Press the Confirm/OK Button to save and return to setting mode. You can also press the Return/Cancel Button to exit or set up other items.

Note: All operations during the setup process can be returned or canceled via the Return/Cancel Button.

To feed 1 portion:

In the standby state, quickly press the Down Button twice within 1 second.

To set “feed now” for multiple portions:

1. Long press the Setting Button for 3 seconds to enter the setting mode.

2. Press the Down Button to switch the flashing icon to the manual feeding one.

3. Press the Confirm/OK Button to confirm and manually choose the feeding portions.

4. Use the Up/Down Button to choose the number of portions.

5. Press the Confirm/OK Button to start feeding. The operation screen will display the remaining portions to be fed.

The feeder supports up to 6 meals per day. After setting the current time, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the Setting Button for 3 seconds to enter the feeding plan setting mode.

2. Press the Down Button to switch the flashing icon to the Digital 1 icon for the first meal.

3. Press the Confirm/OK Button to select the feeding portions. Press the Up/Down Button to set the number of portions for this meal.

4. Press the Confirm/OK Button to go to the feeding time setting.

5. Set the hour and minute for the meal using the Up/Down buttons and Confirm/OK button.

6. Press the Confirm/OK Button to save. Press the Return/Cancel Button to exit. The auto feeding icon will be shown in the standby state.

If you need to set multiple meals, repeat the above steps and select the corresponding digital number icon (2, 3, 4, 5, or 6) for the subsequent meals.

To cancel a certain meal, you can set the feeding portions for that meal to be 0.

1. About 0.06cup/1tbsp/15ml kibbles are dispensed each portion.

2. A few kibbles may be left at the chute after feeding, and it may come out of the outlet when the machine is moved (this does not indicate faulty equipment).

3. Refer to the instructions on your pet food packaging for detailed feeding instruction.

1. Press and hold the Record Button for 3 seconds until the feeder makes a “Beep” sound to start recording. After the recording is completed, the feeder will make a double “Beeps”.

2. After recording, you can preview the audio by short pressing the Record Button. Repeat the above steps if you need to re-do the recording. The closer you are to the microphone, the louder the voice will be.

The default voice recording playback is 3 times. It can be customized up to 5 times at the setting by taking the following steps:

1. Press and hold the Setting Button for 3 seconds to enter the setting mode.

2. Select the Down Button to switch the flashing icon to the Record Button.

3. Press the Confirm/OK Button to confirm play times of recording playback by using the Up/Down Buttons.

4. Press Confirm/OK Button to save.

Note:

• The recording Button should be pressed during the recording.

• The maximum record time is 10 seconds.

• To cancel the feeding recording, set the number of playbacks to 0.

• When batteries are the only power source, for the purpose of power saving, the voice call will only play 1 time before dispensing.

• When the battery is low, the screen will display a low battery signal.

• When the food is insufficient, the screen will display the low food storage icon.

• When both of these cases happen together, the Indicator light will be a red breathing light.

• After renewing the battery or re-filling food, the red indicators and screen icons will disappear automatically within 60 seconds.

In the standby state, press and hold the Setting Button and Confirm/OK Button at the same time for 3 seconds until the feeder makes a short beep. This will reset the feeder to factory default.

It’s recommended to clean the feeder regularly for the health of your pet.

The washable parts of the Petlibro auto feeder are as follows: food tank and food tray. They can be submerged in water. Clean by hand-washing using cool or warm soapy water.

Note: Rinse and let all parts air dry completely before assembling.

Disassembling the food tank:

• If you have food inside the tank or chute, double press the Down Button and repeat for a few times to empty it first.

• Push the tank upward to disassemble.

Disassembling the food tray:

• Empty the tray, then pull it to remove from the base.

Please press and hold the Setting Button for 3s to enter the setting mode and unlock the screen.

Unlock the screen by pressing and holding the Setting Button for 3 seconds. Then, press the Set Button and you can see the meal number shown. Enter each meal to review all the meal time and portion settings.

1. Please be sure to fill it with dry food; kibble size should range from 2-15mm / 0.07-0.6in in diameter.

2. Check whether any foreign objects are placed. Disassemble the food tank and check the chute. Also check the food outlet.

3. Check if it’s a low battery level – whether the power adapter is connected or if there is an outage when no battery is installed.

1. Please press and hold the Setting Button for 3s to unlock the screen.

2. Check whether the power adapter is connected.

Please follow the steps in the “Clean & Care” section for disassembly.

The first few portions may vary, and it doesn’t mean the equipment is faulty. After about 6 feedings it should be almost even.
