Check the model number of any charger before use with this device. The device is intended for use when supplied with power from the AC-4 charger. Use only chargers approved by Nokia for use with this particular device. The use of any other types may invalidate any approval or warranty, and may be dangerous.

When you disconnect the power cord of any enhancement, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord.

The speakers can be powered by three AA batteries or the supplied AC-4 charger.

No, the AC-4 charger does not charge the batteries.

When you use batteries, alkaline batteries are recommended.

To use the speakers on battery power and install the batteries:

1. Open the battery cover at the back of the speakers by pressing the two catches.

2. Place three AA batteries as indicated in the battery compartment.

3. Close the battery cover by pushing it in place.

During long periods where the speakers are not used, remove the batteries to prevent damage from battery leakage.

Connect the AC-4 charger to a wall outlet, and plug the charger cable into the connector at the back of the speakers.

Plug the speaker cable (3.5-mm stereo audio plug located at the base of the speakers) into the connector on the phone or audio device. The speakers can also be used with compatible Nokia adapters. To use a Nokia adapter, connect the adapter to the device and the speaker cable to the adapter.

Press the power key located at the top of the speakers to switch them on or off.

When the speakers are switched on, the green indicator light is on.

Use the slider located at the top of the speakers to set the volume.

If the sound level of the speakers becomes too low when using battery power, change the batteries.
