To turn the MOTOROLA SOL DECK on or off, press and hold the Power Button.

The Multi-Function Button on the MOTOROLA SOL DECK is used to:

• Play and pause music

• Answer and end calls

• Activate Outdoor Mode

• Engage Heist™ Lock

To charge your MOTOROLA SOL DECK, plug the small end of the USB cable into the micro USB port on the side of the speaker. Then, plug the large end into the included AC adaptor and plug that into a wall outlet. The speaker is fully charged when the status light turns green. For optimum performance, always use the charger and cable included in the package. It is recommended to turn off the speaker when you’re not using it.

Step 1. Turn on Bluetooth® on your device.

Step 2. Turn on the MOTOROLA SOL DECK; it will automatically enter pairing mode.

Step 3. Go to the Bluetooth® menu on your device and select DECK. If prompted, enter the code 0000.

Step 4. You will hear a pairing complete tone when the device and DECK are connected.

Step 1. If you have an NFC-enabled device, turn on both Bluetooth® and NFC.

Step 2. Turn on the MOTOROLA SOL DECK.

Step 3. Tap your NFC-enabled phone to the top of the DECK at the NFC Reader Location. The device will notify you when pairing is complete.

To activate Single User Mode, slide the selector switch to the single person icon. This mode allows you to stream music from your phone directly to the DECK and use it as a fully functioning speakerphone for calls.

To activate HEIST MODE™, slide the selector switch to the group icon. This mode allows you to connect up to five mobile devices to the DECK. Once connected, the first person to press play starts the music. Others can join in and take control by simply hitting play on their device. The changing color of the LED lights on the DECK will show who is in charge. Note that phone calling features are not available in this mode.

To avoid getting “heisted” by another user, you can lock the controls by pressing the Multi-Function button. To unlock it, press the Multi-Function button again.

You can connect new devices normally within the first few minutes of turning on the DECK. If more than five minutes have passed, you must put the DECK back into discoverable mode. To do this, slide the selector switch to the single person icon and then back to the group icon. This will make the DECK discoverable for another five minutes.

To play music from a non-Bluetooth® enabled device, use the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the device to the “IN” port on the MOTOROLA SOL DECK. Bluetooth® connectivity is automatically disabled when a cable is plugged into the “IN” port.

You can connect multiple DECK speakers together by inserting the supplied audio cable into the Line Out jack on your first DECK, then into the Line In jack on a second DECK. You can continue this chain with as many speakers as you want. You can also connect the DECK to an external speaker or receiver using the Line Out jack. To mute the DECK’s speaker but still allow audio output through the Line Out jack, press the +/- buttons.

To see how much music play-time is left on your speaker, press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.

To reset the MOTOROLA SOL DECK to its default factory settings, press and hold the Multi-Function button while turning on the DECK. Follow the voice prompts to complete the process. This action will erase all device pairing information stored on the speaker.

Turn the DECK off and then turn it on again.

Try turning the DECK off and then on again. If you are in Heist Mode™, slide the switch to the single user icon to make it discoverable again.

Make sure your phone is on and its Bluetooth® feature is turned on. If the Bluetooth® feature was turned off or was turned on only temporarily, try restarting the Bluetooth® feature and pairing your phone and speaker again.
