Never insert a finger, pencil, or any other object through the grille when the MIDEA MF-16FW15KRA is running.

Disconnect the fan when moving from one location to another.

Ensure the fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.

Do not use the fan in a window, as rain may create an electrical hazard.

The unit is for indoor use only.

First, remove the spinner and the plastic nut from the front side of the motor. Fix the rear grille to the motor and tighten the plastic nut again.

Next, insert the blade into the shaft, making sure the stopper pin is fitted into the groove of the blade. Turn the spinner counter-clockwise to tighten the blade.

Finally, fix the front guard and the rear guard with the circlip and use the fasten clip to tighten the fan guard.

The fan should be installed on a solid wooden surface or pillar that stands vertically to the floor. Do not install it on walls less than 10 cm thick or made of materials that are easily damaged.

To install the mounting bracket, fix the bracket firmly to the wall using two screws. The bracket should be at least 30 cm from the ceiling and adjoining walls.

To install the stand, mount the stand on the bracket by inserting the bracket catch into the slot on the stand.

Push the guard lightly to the desired upward or downward direction.

The ON/OFF key is for switching on the fan. The fan will start at medium speed and automatically switch to low speed after 2 seconds. Press this key again to switch off the fan.

When the timer key is touched repeatedly or kept pressed, the time set for air delivery increases by 0.5 hour steps, up to a maximum of 7.5 hours in 15 steps. For example, to set 5.5 hours, touch the key repeatedly until the pilot lamps for 0.5, 1, and 4 hours light up together (0.5 + 1 + 4 = 5.5 hours).

The time setting indicated by the pilot lamps will decrease gradually by units of 0.5 hours. Do not press the timer key if the fan is required to operate continuously, in which case all pilot lamps will be off.

The mode key selects the wind type in a sequence of Normal, Natural, and Normal wind when touched repeatedly. In Normal wind mode, the fan delivers air constantly at high, medium, or low speed as set by the speed key. In Natural wind mode, the fan delivers air according to a pre-programmed setting that simulates natural wind, varying from strong to weak.

Press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it out. Insert the batteries, ensuring the positive terminals are facing the proper way. Replace the cover.

Do not mix old and new batteries, and do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

Point the remote control at the receptor on the body of the fan and press the desired button. The remote control works at distances of up to roughly five meters and at an angle of 30 degrees between the right and left from the receptor.

Before cleaning and assembling, the fan must be unplugged. Wipe the exterior parts with a soft cloth soaked in a mild detergent. Keep the vents at the rear of the motor free of dust to ensure adequate air circulation; do not disassemble the fan to remove dust.

Do not use abrasive detergents or solvents like gasoline, thinner, or benzene, and do not allow water or other liquids to enter the motor housing or interior parts.

The motor windings have a thermal fuse that burns out if the motor overheats for any unexpected reason. This switches the fan off and prevents the motor temperature from rising further, protecting the plastic parts of the fan from deformation.
