LELO BEADS are available in two size variations: Classic and Mini. LELO BEADS Mini have been specially designed to offer a perfect fit for women under 30 who have never experienced childbirth, while LELO BEADS Classic are recommended for women over 30 and those who have experienced childbirth.

Each set of LELO BEADS consists of a silicone harness and four weighted beads:

Two petal pink 28-gram beads (one foundation bead with retraction leash and one crown bead).

Two powder blue 37-gram beads (one foundation bead with retraction leash and one crown bead).

These beads can be worn individually or combined using the silicone harness.

The foundation beads can be used individually or combined with a crown bead using the silicone harness. Follow these steps for assembly:

1. Thread the retraction leash, on the foundation bead of your choice, through the leash opening in the foundation bead nook on the silicone harness.

2. Push the foundation bead into place, making sure the edges of the nook slot firmly into place and trace the contours of the harness guide imprint on the foundation bead.

3. Push the crown bead into place, making sure the edges of the crown nook slot firmly into place and trace the contours of the harness guide imprint on the bead.

Depending on your level of vaginal and pelvic floor fitness, you may wish to start out with a single foundation bead and gradually progress to compositions involving two beads and more weight.

Inserting LELO BEADS is not dissimilar to inserting a tampon. Follow these steps:

1. To facilitate easy insertion, apply a small amount of water-based lubricant on the leading edge of the bead(s) you intend to use. Avoid using too much, as this will make the beads slippery and difficult to hold in place.

2. Lie on your back and introduce the leading end of the bead(s) into your vagina with a firm but gentle push. If you experience difficulties, raise your pelvis so that gravity can assist you. Some women find that a standing position, with one leg raised, works better for them.

3. If you are using two beads and the silicone harness, insert the crown bead first. Due to the gap between the two beads, once the crown bead is inserted the vaginal muscles may try to push it out before you can insert the foundation bead. Take a deep breath and relax.

The bead(s) should be positioned so that the lower edge of the foundation bead is at least 2 cm inside you. The most important thing is that the foundation bead rests above your pelvic floor muscle.

The exact distance from the vaginal opening to the pelvic floor muscle differs from woman to woman, but the bead(s) should be positioned comparably to where a tampon would normally be positioned.

Always allow the retraction leash to protrude slightly from the vagina so as to facilitate easy removal of the bead(s).

If you intend to use LELO BEADS primarily for exercise purposes, it is important that you incorporate it into your daily routine and adhere to a fixed program.

Depending on your level of vaginal and pelvic floor fitness, it may take up to 12 weeks of daily 30-minute Kegel exercising using LELO BEADS to achieve noticeable results.

When you walk, run, swim or otherwise move about, the motion causes the inner balls to move, creating a subtle kinetic vibe stimulating the vaginal muscles. Even when you are standing still, gravity will instigate spontaneous pelvic floor muscle contractions as your muscles work to prevent the beads from slipping out.

At the outset of using LELO BEADS as part of your Kegel routine, you may feel slightly uncomfortable, as your body will be very aware of the beads. You may also find that beads tend to slip out after only a few minutes. If this happens, do not worry, and persist with the program. As your muscles become stronger, they will automatically hold the beads in place.

Always disassemble and clean each part of your LELO BEADS thoroughly before and after each use.

Clean using warm water and antibacterial soap, rinse with clean hot water and pat dry with a lint-free cloth or towel.

Never use cleansers containing alcohol, petrol or acetone.

Store your LELO BEADS in a dust-free place and keep it away from toys of other materials.

Avoid leaving your LELO BEADS in direct sunlight and NEVER expose it to extreme heat.

LELO recommends that you NOT use a silicone-based lubricant with your LELO BEADS, as this could make the silicone harness permanently tacky.

A water-based lubricant is the safest option. If you wish to use a silicone-based lubricant, perform a patch-test first.

Never use massage oil or hand cream as lubricants.
