To set up your JLAB AUDIO EPIC AIR SPORT earbuds for the first time, follow these steps:

1. AUTO-CONNECTING EARBUDS:

A. Take the earbuds out of the charging case and remove the stickers.

B. Press and hold both Power Buttons for 2+ seconds to turn them ON. The Left earbud will turn solid white and the Right earbud will blink blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair to your device.

2. CONNECTING TO BLUETOOTH:

Select “JLab Epic Air Sport” in your device’s Bluetooth settings. A voice prompt saying “Bluetooth connected,” followed by solid white lights, will indicate that you are connected.

To connect to a new device:

1. Turn OFF Bluetooth from any previously connected device.

2. Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device.

3. Take the earbuds out of the case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth Pairing mode.

4. Select “JLab Epic Air Sport” in the new device’s settings to connect.

The box for the JLAB AUDIO EPIC AIR SPORT includes the following items:

• EARBUDS (Left and Right)

• CHARGING CASE

• EARTIPS in various styles and sizes: Standard, Shallow, Cloud Foam, Double Flange, and Triple Flange.

Connect the Epic Air Sport charging case to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or less) output device. The indicator lights on the case will pulse white when charging and turn solid white when fully charged. The case also features a USB Charge Output for charging other devices.

The JLAB AUDIO EPIC AIR SPORT features touch sensors on both earbuds for controlling your audio and calls.

Left Earbud Controls:

• VOLUME DOWN: Single tap.

• SIRI (iOS) or “OK GOOGLE” (ANDROID): Double tap.

• TRACK BACK: Press & hold for 1+ second.

• EQ CHANGE: Triple tap. (The Epic Air Sport will cycle through 3 EQ settings).

Right Earbud Controls:

• VOLUME UP: Single tap.

• PLAY / PAUSE: Double tap.

• TRACK FORWARD: Press & hold for 1+ second.

• ANSWER CALL: Single tap.

• HANG UP CALL: Double tap.

• REJECT INCOMING CALL: Press & hold for 2+ seconds.

• BE AWARE ON / OFF: Triple tap.

Power Button Controls (on each earbud):

• POWER ON: Press and hold for 1+ second.

• POWER OFF: Press and hold for 3+ seconds.

• “Hello”: Power ON

• “Earbuds joined”: Earbuds are paired to each other

• “Ready to Pair”: Epic Air Sport are ready to pair to a Bluetooth device

• “Bluetooth Connected”: Earbud is connected to the device

• “Battery Full”: 100-80%

• “Battery Medium”: 80-20%

• “Low Battery”: Less than 20%. When power decreases to 10%, “Low Battery” will play again.

• “Goodbye”: Power OFF

Triple tap the left earbud to cycle through the different EQ settings. Voice prompts will indicate which EQ setting is active. The Epic Air Sport will cycle through 3 EQ settings:

• JLab SIGNATURE: JLab C3™ signature sound with amplified bass and vocals.

• BALANCED: Even sound with no additional enhancements.

• BASS BOOST: Amplified bass and sub-bass.

1. Placing the earbuds in the charging case will automatically power them OFF and start charging. Blue lights on the case indicate the earbuds are charging and will turn OFF when they are fully charged.

2. When the earbuds are taken out of the case, they will automatically power on and reconnect to your last connected device.

This issue requires a manual reset. Follow these steps:

1. Enter your Bluetooth device settings and “Forget” the Epic Air Sport.

2. Take out ONE earbud from the charging case. Press and hold its power button for 3+ seconds to power it OFF. Then, press and hold the power button again for 15+ seconds. The earbud will turn ON, then flash white, and then power OFF. Once OFF, place it back in the charging case.

3. Repeat the process for the other earbud.

4. Take both earbuds out of the charging case. Wait for the Left earbud to turn solid white and the Right earbud to blink blue/white. You are now ready to pair to your Bluetooth device again.

1. In your device’s Bluetooth settings, find and “Forget” the JLab Epic Air Sport.

2. On your device, turn Bluetooth OFF and then turn it back ON.

3. Take the earbuds out of the case. Wait for the Left earbud to turn solid white and the Right earbud to start blinking blue/white.

4. Select “JLab Epic Air Sport” in your device’s Bluetooth settings to reconnect.

• The Bluetooth connection is established from the right earbud. For the most stable connection, keep your device near your right-hand side or in your right pocket.

• If you prefer to wear only one earbud, you must wear the right earbud as this is the main earbud that connects to your Bluetooth device.

• Choosing the correct ear tip makes a significant improvement in audio quality due to the proper seal for the driver. Test all ear tips for the best results.

• Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on your chosen device to connect.

WARNINGS:

• Fully dry off the earbuds before placing them in the charging case. If the earbuds are damp or wet, this will cause damage to the charging case. The warranty will be voided if the charging case shows damage by water/sweat.

• Do not deform the ear hooks. The ear hooks are flexible silicone but also have an internal hard structure for the antenna. Prying on the ear hook may break or damage the antenna.

CAUTIONS:

• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.

• Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.

• Wax may build up in the earbud tips, lowering the sound quality. Carefully remove the wax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve the sound quality.

• If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use temporarily.

• If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your physician.

• We recommend you treat your earbuds as you would a nice pair of sunglasses and keep them in a safe location when not in use.
