Force the seat down with extra weight, for example, by pressing down or kneeling on the child restraint while pulling up on the shoulder belt in order to force slack from the belt. This is necessary to remove the remaining slack that exists once you add the extra weight of the child to the child restraint. It also helps to achieve the proper snugness of the child restraint to your vehicle. Sometimes, a slight lean toward the buckle will additionally help to remove remaining slack from the belt.
If the child restraint has a tether strap, attach it.
Before placing the child in the seat, forcibly move the seat forward and back to make sure the seat is securely held in place. To check this, grab the seat at the belt path and attempt to move it side to side and forward and back. There should be no more than 1 in (2.5 cm) of movement for proper installation.

If your personalized settings don’t save, Personal Profiles might not support your unsaved settings, or a different personal profile is active. If your profile will not recall, a different profile might be active, or your profile is not linked to a memory button or remote control. If your preset positions recall, but your profile does not, the vehicle is in motion. If your profile recalls but your preset positions do not, the preset positions may be the same as the guest or previously active profile. If you lose a remote control, you may need to see an authorized dealer, or the remote controls were erased and reprogrammed. If you lost all profiles, someone may have performed a master reset.

How do I reset the system?

Simultaneously press and hold the seek up and the audio unit power buttons until the screen goes black.
Wait three minutes to allow the system to complete the reset.
Press the audio unit power button to switch the system on.
