How do I assemble and store my INSE S18 vacuum cleaner?
Assembly:
1. Attaching Cleaner Head to Tube: Insert the metal tube end into the cleaner head port until you hear a click. To remove, press the metal tube release button with one hand, hold the tube with the other, and pull it out.
2. Attaching Tube to Main Motor: Insert the other end of the metal tube into the suction port of the main motor until you hear a click. To remove, press the main motor release button with one hand, hold the main motor with the other, and pull the handle to remove the main motor from the tube.
Storage:
The INSE S18 can be stored by hanging the whole machine onto the provided wall bracket.
How do I operate my INSE S18 vacuum cleaner?
1. Preparation:
Check if the battery power is sufficient. It’s suggested to charge for over 5-6 hours before the first use to ensure utmost performance. Choose the attachment you need according to the cleaning area/surface.
2. Start to Work:
• 2-1: Press the power switch to turn on the vacuum. Press it a second time to turn it off.
• 2-2: Press the speed regulation button to switch the power mode between MIN, MID, and MAX mode.
• 2-3: For continuous operation, press the power switch to turn on the vacuum, then push the lock button. Release the power switch, and the vacuum will continue to work. Push the lock button again to turn the vacuum off. Pushing the lock button again will invalidate the lock function.

3. Dust Cup Cleaning:

How do I charge the battery of my INSE S18?
For safety, the battery is shipped with a 30% charge. Please fully charge the battery before first use. It takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge the battery from a flat status.
There are two ways to charge the INSE S18 battery:
Way 1: Charge the battery in the main motor
Insert the battery pack into the main motor. Insert the power plug into the battery pack and connect the power adaptor to the power supply.
Way 2: Charge the battery separately
Remove the battery pack from the main motor. Connect the power adaptor directly to the charging port on the battery pack.
What do the battery indicator lights on the INSE S18 mean?
The battery indicators show the power level during use and the charging status while plugged in.
On Work (During Use):
• Three solid white lights: Full power
• Two solid white lights: Medium power
• One solid white light: Low power
• One blinking white light: Lower than 10% of total power, needs a recharge
During Charging:
• Three white lights blinking successively: Charging
• Three steady lights: Charging complete
What are the important notes regarding charging and error states for the INSE S18?
• The machine cannot be turned on during charging.
• Charge the battery only with the adaptor (30V) provided by INSE.
• When not using the battery for a long time, store it in a cool, dry place. Ensure the battery is half-charged (2 glowing indicator lights).
• If you need an additional battery, purchase one from an authorized distributor of INSE.
• Brush motor protection: If the brush motor has an overcurrent or short circuit, the machine stops. LED1, LED2, and LED3 will show running lights at 3Hz. After 5 seconds, the lights will extinguish, and all keys will be disabled during the alarm.
• Vacuum motor protection: If the vacuum motor has an overcurrent, short circuit, or blockage, the machine stops. LED1, LED2, and LED3 will blink synchronously at 3Hz. Other lights will turn off after 5 seconds, and all keys will be disabled during the alarm.
• Abnormal battery pack: If the battery pack is abnormal (e.g., cell temperature is higher than 70±3°C), LED1 will blink at 3Hz synchronously. Other lights will be off and will turn off after 5 seconds. All keys fail during the alarm.
• Charger voltage: If the charger voltage is < 30V, it can be charged normally, with LED1, LED2, LED3 blinking once every second from left to right. If the charger voltage is higher than 31.5V, charging will stop, and the LEDs will run a horse light sequence for 5 seconds before shutting down.
How do I maintain my INSE S18 vacuum cleaner?
To ensure maximum performance of your INSE S18, regularly maintain its components. Important: The dustbin or the cleaner head cannot be washed with water, as the motors will be damaged.
Clean Handheld Part of the Main Motor:
1. Please turn off the vacuum before cleaning.
2. Wipe the surface with a clean cloth; avoid getting water into the inner part of the vacuum.
3. Do not place the vacuum under direct sunlight or in wet places after cleaning.
Clean Dust Cup:
The sign “-MAX-” on the dust cup indicates the dust capacity limit. Once the dust approaches the sign, empty the dust cup. You can use the 2-in-1 cleaning gadget to clean the inside.
Clean Detachable Roller Brush:
1. Unlock the side lock on the underside of the cleaner head, remove the side cover, and take out the roller brush.
2. Use the 2-in-1 cleaning gadget to cut and remove the tangled hair.
How do I clean the filter system of my INSE S18?
IMPORTANT!
1. Please check and clean the High-efficiency filter/HEPA regularly.
2. Please clean the filter in time if the suction performance declines.
3. Please replace the filter/HEPA if it’s broken or cannot maintain the suction performance.
4. Please do not bend or squeeze the HEPA.
Cleaning Steps:
1. Hold the main motor, press the button to open the dust bin cover. Rotate the strainer and filter assembly to unlock, then take them out one by one.
2. If they are very dirty, you can wash the metal filter and the black mesh with cool water. Clean the HEPA filter with the cleaning brush.
3. Ensure the strainer and the black mesh are completely dry before refitting.
