When using the INSE S16, please follow these basic safety precautions:

Usage Precautions:

• Do not use near open flames.

• Do not store near heat sources.

• Do not pick up water or liquids, as this may cause electric shock.

• Do not pick up burning objects like matches, cigarette ends, or hot ashes.

• Do not pick up sharp objects such as glass or screws.

• Do not use to pick up flammable liquid.

• Do not place hands near the brush bar when the machine is in use.

• Do not place the appliance on or near a cooker.

• Do not use if any of its openings are blocked.

• Do not use for anything other than its intended use.

• Do not use if it has been dropped or shows visible signs of damage.

• Do not operate with wet hands.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

Environment:

• Do not store in direct sunlight or in high humidity conditions.

• Do not use this appliance outdoors.

• Do not expose the appliance to rain.

Accessories and Power:

• Only use with the provided power adapter.

• Do not use any damaged accessories or adaptors.

• Do not use any parts/accessories or adaptors other than those supplied with this appliance.

• Do not use the adaptor to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

• To unplug, switch off and remove the plug by hand; do not pull the cord.

• Use of an extension power cord is not allowed.

Maintenance and General Safety:

• Always ensure the appliance has cooled fully before cleaning or maintenance.

• Switch off and disconnect from the mains power supply before changing or fitting accessories.

• Take care when equipping accessories with rotating parts as this could cause entrapment.

• This appliance is intended for domestic use only, not for commercial purposes.

• Keep the appliance away from other heat-emitting appliances and sharp edges.

• Keep away from children under 8 years of age. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

• If any part is damaged due to human error, only a qualified electrician should repair it.

• Check the voltage on the rating plate to ensure it matches your power supply.

Please adhere to the following battery safety guidelines for your INSE S16:

• If the battery pack is exhausted, remove it from the product to avoid leakage.

• If the battery pack leaks, do not allow any liquid to contact skin or eyes. If contact occurs, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.

• Keep the battery pack out of the reach of children.

• Secondary battery packs need to be charged before use. After long periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the batteries several times for maximum performance.

• Do not leave battery packs on charge for prolonged periods.

• Use only the charger specifically provided with the product.

• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

• Do not store above 60°C. Avoid storing in direct sunlight.

• Do not use battery packs not designed for use with this product.

• Do not dispose of the battery pack in a fire.

• Do not crush, puncture, dismantle, or otherwise damage the battery pack.

• Do not dismantle, open, or shred battery packs.

• Do not expose the battery pack to heat or fire as it may explode.

• Do not subject the battery pack to mechanical shock.

• Do not dispose of the exhausted battery pack in household waste. Take it to a local recycling station.

• Contact local government offices for further details on disposal.

• This appliance is fitted with a 25.2V 2200mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery.

Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow these may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

1. Prevent unintentional starting by ensuring the switch is in the off-position before connecting the battery pack, picking up, or carrying the appliance.

2. Disconnect the battery pack before making adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the appliance to reduce the risk of accidental starting.

3. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. Using a different charger may create a risk of fire.

4. Use the appliance only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

5. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws that can connect the terminals, which may cause burns or a fire.

6. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. Avoid contact. If contact occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help. Liquid from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

7. Do not use a damaged or modified battery pack or appliance, as they may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.

8. Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperatures above 130°C (265°F) may cause an explosion.

9. Follow all charging instructions. Do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside the specified temperature range, as this may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

10. Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts to ensure the safety of the product is maintained.

11. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or battery pack except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.

Note: Actual and available accessories may vary by market or change without notice.

• Motorized Cleaner Head: Can be connected to the metal tube for daily cleaning on the floor or carpet, or directly to the main motor for cleaning areas like a car trunk.

• Stiff Roller Brush: Can be installed into the cleaner head. It is ideal for both hard floors and carpets.

• Retractable Metal Tube: Can be installed into the cleaner head. It performs better for corners that are not easy to clean up.

• Long Crevice: For corners and other hard-to-reach places. It can be connected to the metal tube to clean spider webs on the ceiling.

• 2-in-1 Brush: Can be switched between a brush and a wide crevice tool. It is suitable for fabric surfaces and corners.

• 2-in-1 Cleaning Gadget: The blade end is used to cut hair wrapped around the roller brush. The other brush end can be used to clean dirt inside the dustbin, strainer, or cleaner head.

Connecting the Cleaner Head and Tube:

1. Insert the tube end into the cleaner head port until you hear a click. Ensure the connection is tight.

2. To remove it, press the metal tube release button with one hand, hold the tube with the other hand, and pull it out.

Connecting the Tube and Main Motor:

1. Insert the metal tube end into the suction port of the main motor until you hear a click. Ensure the connection is tight.

2. To remove it, press the main motor release button with one hand, hold the main motor with the other hand, and pull the handle to remove the main motor from the tube.

Storage:

The entire assembled machine can be hung on the included wall bracket for storage.

1. Preparation:

• Before first use, check if the battery power is sufficient. It is suggested to charge the vacuum for over 5-6 hours to ensure utmost performance.

• Choose the appropriate attachment for the cleaning area/surface.

2. Start to Work:

• To turn on/off: Press the power switch once to turn the vacuum on. Press it a second time to turn it off.

• To change power mode: Press the button to switch the power mode between MIN, MID, and MAX mode.

• To use the lock function: Press the power switch to turn the vacuum on, then push the lock button and release the power switch. The vacuum will continue to work. Push the lock button again to turn the vacuum off. Pushing the button again will invalidate the lock function.

Important Usage Notes:

• HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.

• DO NOT use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

• DO NOT immerse in water.

After turning the vacuum off, press the button to release the dustbin cover. Dump the dirt and then close the cover until you hear a click.

For safety, the battery is shipped with a 30% charge. Please fully charge the battery before first use. It takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge from a flat status.

There are two ways to charge the battery:

Way 1: Charge while in the main motor

Insert the battery pack into the main motor. Insert the power plug into the battery pack and connect the power adaptor to the power supply.

Way 2: Charge the battery separately

Remove the battery from the main motor. Insert the power plug into the battery pack and connect the power adaptor to the power supply.

During Operation (On Work):

• Three solid white lights: Full power

• Two solid white lights: Medium power

• One solid white light: Low power

• One blinking white light: Lower than 10% of total power, needs a recharge

During Charging:

• Three white lights blinking successively: Charging

• Three steady lights: Charging complete

• The machine cannot be turned on during charging.

• Charge the battery only with the adaptor (30V) provided by INSE.

• When not using the battery for a long time, store it in a cool, dry place. Ensure the battery is half-charged (2 glowing indicator lights).

• If you need an additional battery, purchase one from an authorized INSE distributor.

• Brush motor error: If there is overcurrent or short circuit protection for the brush motor, the machine stops. LED1, LED2, and LED3 will show running lights at 3Hz. After 5 seconds, the lights extinguish, and all keys will fail during the alarm.

• Vacuum motor error: If there is overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, or blocking for the vacuum motor, the machine stops. LED1, LED2, and LED3 will blink synchronously at 3Hz. Other lights will turn off after 5 seconds, and all keys will fail during the alarm.

• Battery pack abnormal: LED1 blinks at 3Hz synchronously. Other lights are off and will turn off after 5 seconds. All keys fail during the alarm. An example is when the cell temperature is higher than 70±3°C during discharging.

• Charging voltage: When the charger voltage is less than 30V, it can charge normally. LED1, LED2, LED3 blink once every second from left to right. If the charger voltage is higher than 31.5V, charging stops, and LED1, LED2, LED3 run a horse light sequence for 5 seconds before shutting down.

Power Mode and Runtime Note: Any posted runtime is the time the machine runs without attaching to any surface and debris. Actual runtime will vary based on the power mode, battery capacity, attachment, debris amount, and cleaning area/surface.

To ensure maximum performance of your INSE S16, please regularly maintain its components. The dustbin and cleaner head cannot be washed with water, as the motors will be damaged.

Clean Handheld Part of the Main Motor:

• Please turn off the vacuum before cleaning.

• Wipe the surface with a clean cloth; avoid water getting into the inner part of the vacuum.

• Do not place the vacuum under direct sunlight or in wet places after cleaning.

Clean Dust Cup:

• The sign -MAX- on the dust cup indicates the dust capacity limit. Once the dust approaches the sign, empty the dust cup in time.

• You can use the 2-in-1 cleaning gadget to clean the inside of the dust cup.

Clean Detachable Roller Brush:

1. Unlock the side lock on the underside of the cleaner head, remove the side cover, and take out the roller brush.

2. Use the 2-in-1 cleaning gadget to cut and remove any tangled hair.

IMPORTANT:

1. Please check and clean the High-efficiency filter/HEPA regularly.

2. Please clean the filter in time if the suction performance declines.

3. Please replace the filter/HEPA if it’s broken or cannot maintain the suction performance.

4. Please do not bend or squeeze the HEPA.

Cleaning Steps:

1. Hold the main motor, press the button to open the dust bin cover, then rotate the strainer and filter one by one to take them out.

2. If they are very dirty, you can wash the metal filter and the black mesh with cool water. Clean the HEPA with the cleaning brush.

3. Ensure the strainer and the black mesh are completely dry before refitting.

If your INSE S16 stops working, check for the following possible causes and solutions:

Possible Causes:

1. Low battery or no battery power.

2. There is a blockage.

3. The roller brush is tangled by hair.

Solutions:

1. Charge the battery.

2. Remove the blockage (check the metal tube and filters).

3. Clean the roller and also remove the side covers to remove the tangled hair.

If the roller brush stops spinning, it is likely tangled with hair. To fix this, clean the roller and also remove the side covers to remove the tangled hair.

If you experience weak suction power with your INSE S16, please check the following:

Possible Causes:

1. The dustbin, strainer, or filter is full of dust.

2. The strainer or filter is not installed correctly.

3. There is a blockage in the machine.

4. The roller brush is tangled with hair.

Solutions:

1. Clean the dustbin, strainer, or filter. Replace the filter if necessary.

2. Install the strainer and filter correctly.

3. Remove the blockage.

4. Clean the roller brush and remove tangled hair.

An abnormal motor sound usually indicates that there is a blockage somewhere in the vacuum. Please check all parts, including the cleaner head, tube, and filters, and remove any blockages you find.

If your INSE S16 battery is not charging, consider these potential issues and solutions:

Possible Causes:

1. The wrong adaptor is being used.

2. The connection between the power cord and the battery is loose.

Solutions:

1. Use the correct adaptor that was provided by INSE.

2. Make sure the power cord is plugged in tightly.
