What are the battery safety guidelines for the INSE S100?

• This appliance is fitted with a 25.2V 2200mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery.

• If the battery pack becomes exhausted, it should be removed from the product to avoid leakage.

• In the event of the battery pack leaking, do not allow any liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes.

• If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.

• Keep the battery pack out of the reach of children.

What are the critical warnings for using the INSE S100 vacuum?

Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

1. Prevent unintentional starting ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting pack, picking up, or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or energizing appliance that have the switch on invites accidents.

2. Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance before making any adjustments changing accessories or storing appliance. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the appliance accidentally.

3. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

4. Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

5. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

6. Under abusive conditions, liquid maybe ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

7. Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.

8. Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C may cause explosion. The temperature of 130°C can be replaced by the temperature of 265 °F.

9. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

10. Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.

11. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.

How do I use the various accessories with the INSE S100?

Motorized Cleaner Head: Can be connected to the metal tube for daily cleaning on the floor or carpet, or to the main motor for cleaning the trunk.

Stiff Roller Brush: Can be installed into the cleaner head; ideal for both hard floors and carpets.

Retractable Metal Tube: Can be installed into the cleaner head; performs better for corners that are not easy to clean up.

Long Crevice: For corners and other hard-to-reach places; can be connected to the metal tube to clean spider web on the ceiling.

2-in-1 Brush: Can be switched into a brush or a wide crevice; suitable for fabric surface and corners.

Lock key: Push this button after pressing the power switch to keep the vacuum working continuously. Push it again to turn the vacuum off.

How do I assemble and store the INSE S100?

Assembly:

1. Insert the tube end into the cleaner head port until you hear a click, make sure the connection is tight. To remove, press the metal tube release button with one hand, hold the tube with another hand and then pull it out to remove it.

2. Insert the metal tube end into the suction port of the main motor until you hear a click, make sure the connection is tight. To remove, press the main motor release button with one hand, hold the main motor with another hand and then pull the handle to remove the main motor from the tube.

Storage:

The whole machine can be hung onto the wall bracket for storage.


How do I operate the INSE S100 vacuum cleaner?

1. Preparation:

Please check if the battery power is sufficient before using. It’s suggested to charge over 5-6 hours before the first time of use to ensure utmost performance of the product. Choose the attachment you need according to the cleaning area/surface.

2. Start to Work:

2-1 Press the power switch to turn on the vacuum, second press to turn it off.

2-2 Press the button to switch the power mode between MIN, MID and MAX mode.

2-3 To use the lock function, press the power switch to turn on the vacuum, then push the lock button. The vacuum will continue to work. Push the lock button again to turn the vacuum off. Pushing the lock button again will invalidate the lock function.

• DO NOT immerse in water


How do I empty the dust cup on the INSE S100?

After turning off the vacuum, press the button to release the dustbin cover, dump the dirt and then close the cover until you hear a click.

The sign -MAX- on the dust cup means dust capacity limit. Once the dust approaches the sign, empty the dust cup in time. You could use the 2-in-1 cleaning gadget to clean the inside.


How do I charge the INSE S100 battery?

For safety, the battery is charged to 30% capacity before shipping. Please fully charge the battery before first use. It takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge the battery from a flat status.

There are two ways to charge the battery:

Way 1: Charge while attached to the main motor

Insert the battery pack into the main motor; insert the power plug into the battery pack; connect the power adaptor with the power supply.

Way 2: Charge the separate battery directly

Remove the battery from the main motor and connect the power adaptor directly to the battery pack.


What do the battery indicator lights on the INSE S100 mean?

On Work (while vacuuming):

• Three solid white lights: full power

• Two solid white lights: medium power

• One solid white light: low power

• One blinking white light: lower than 10% of the total power, needs a recharge

During Charging:

• Three white lights blinking successively: charging

• Three steady lights: charging complete


Are there any important notes or error indicators for the INSE S100?

Yes, please note the following:

• The machine cannot be turned on during charging.

• Charge the battery only with the adaptor (30V) provided by INSE.

• When you won’t use the battery for a long time, please store it in a cool dry place. In this situation, please ensure that the battery has been half charged (2 glowing indicator lights).

• If you need an additional battery, please purchase from an authorized distributor of INSE.

Brush motor error: When the Brush motor overcurrent protection or short circuit protection occurs, the machine stops. LED1, LED2, LED3 will show running lights at 3HZ for 5 seconds before extinguishing. All keys will fail during the alarm.

Vacuum motor error: When the vacuum motor overcurrent protection, short circuit protection or blocking occurs, the machine stops. LED1, LED2 and LED3 will blink synchronously at 3HZ. Other lights will be off after 5 seconds, and all keys will fail during the alarm.

Abnormal battery pack error: When the battery pack is abnormal (e.g., cell temperature is higher than 70±3°C), LED1 blinks at 3HZ synchronously. Other lights will be off after 5 seconds. All keys fail during the alarm.

Charger voltage error: When the voltage of the charger is < 30V, it can be charged normally. LED1, LED2, LED3 blink once every second, from left to right. When the charger voltage is higher than 31.5V, it will stop charging, LED1, LED2, LED3 will run the horse light, and shut down after 5 seconds.

How do I perform daily maintenance on the INSE S100?

To ensure maximum performance of the vacuum, please regularly maintain its components.

IMPORTANT: The dustbin or the cleaner head cannot be washed by water. Otherwise, the motors will be damaged.

Clean Handheld Part of the Main Motor:

1. Please turn off the vacuum before cleaning.

2. Wipe the surface with a clean cloth; avoid the water gets into the inner part of the vacuum.

3. Do not place the vacuum under direct sunlight or in wet places after cleaning.


How do I clean the detachable roller brush on the INSE S100?

1. Unlock the side lock on the underside of the cleaner head, remove the side cover and take out the roller brush.

2. Use the 2-in-1 cleaning gadget to cut and remove the tangled hair.


How do I clean the strainer and High Efficiency filter on the INSE S100?

IMPORTANT!

1. Please check and clean the High-efficiency filter/HEPA regularly.

2. Please clean the filter in time if the suction performance declines.

3. Please replace the filter/HEPA if it’s broken or it cannot maintain the suction performance of the vacuum cleaner.

4. Please do not bend or squeeze the HEPA.

Cleaning Steps:

1. Hold the main motor, press the button to open the dust bin cover. Rotate the strainer and filter one by one to take them out.

2. If they are too dirty, you could wash the metal filter and the black mesh with cool water, and clean the HEPA with the cleaning brush.

3. Ensure the strainer and the black mesh are completely dry before refitting.
