The indicators on the control panel provide the following information:

Rotisserie indicator: If lit, the rotisserie is in use.

Timer indicator: If lit, the timer is counting down.

Control lock indicator: If lit, the control panel is locked.

Cooking time indicator: If lit, automatic cooking time is set.

Stop time indicator: If lit, automatic stop time is set.

To lock the control panel: Press and hold the select (✓) button for 2 seconds.

To unlock the control panel: Press and hold the cancel (X) button for 2 seconds.

When the oven is first switched on at the wall, follow these steps to set the clock:

1. The display will flash ’24 Hr’.

2. Press the right scroll (►) button to scroll between ’24 Hr’ and ’12 Hr’. Press the select (✓) button to confirm your choice.

3. Press the left (◄) and right (►) scroll buttons to set the current time.

4. Press the select (✓) button to confirm. The time will now be set and steadily lit.

Note: If you do not wish to set the time initially, press the cancel (x) button to exit the clock setting.

To change the time within the user preference menu, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the left (◄) and right (►) scroll buttons together for 3 seconds to enter the user preference menu. The display will show either ’12 Hr’ or ’24 Hr’.

2. In this menu, you can scroll between ’24 Hr’, ’12 Hr’, and ‘OFF’ (which turns the display off). Press the select (✓) button to confirm your selection.

3. The display will flash. Follow the initial clock setting steps to set the new time: use the scroll buttons to set the time and press select (✓) to confirm.

Before using your oven for the first time, you must fit the supplied Catalytic Panels. This process involves several steps:

1. Removing ALL cable ties holding the shelving in place.

2. Removing the shelves and side racks.

3. Fitting the catalytic panels.

4. Replacing the side racks and shelves.

After fitting the catalytic panels, it is recommended that you condition the oven.

To remove shelves:

1. Remove all shelving, taking special care with the telescopic sliding shelves.

2. To remove a telescopic sliding shelf, grip it at the front (making sure you are gripping the wire shelf and the sliding frame together), lift it upwards, and pull it out of the oven.

For your safety, the wire shelf and telescopic sliding frame are built together as one unit and are not separable.

To remove side racks:

1. Remove both side racks by pushing down on the retaining wire until it clears the lower lock stud.

2. Swing the rack outwards to clear the upper lock studs.

3. Lift the rack out.

Place each catalytic panel flush against the side wall of the oven cavity. Make sure to note the position of the cutouts for the lamp and the lock nuts to ensure correct placement.

To replace the side racks, locate the top of the side rack into the two upper lock studs and gently push the retaining wire back under the lower lock stud.

To replace a wire shelf:

Check the guard rail to ensure the shelf is the right way up. Slide it horizontally back along the side racks, ensuring it is level and the stop notch is facing down.

To replace a telescopic sliding shelf:

1. Position it so that the front bar is toward you.

2. Check that the sliding frame is not extended.

3. Check the guard rail to ensure the shelf is the right way up.

4. Position the shelf so it is level and the rear shelf tag at the back of the sliding frame rests behind the side rack wire.

5. Push the sliding shelf all the way to the back of the oven, until the front shelf tag drops into place behind the side rack wire.

To prevent the tags from lifting off the side racks, take care to slide the shelves forward horizontally.

Conditioning your oven burns off any manufacturing residues. Ensure you have removed all cable ties, set the clock, and fitted all shelves before you begin.

1. Select the Bake (🍰) function. The function halo will glow white, and the oven will start heating at the Bake preset temperature of 180°C.

2. Turn the temperature dial to set the temperature to 200°C for 30 minutes. While the oven is heating, the temperature halo will glow red. When it reaches 200°C, a tone will sound, and the halo will turn white.

3. After 30 minutes, select the Fan Grill (🍖) function.

4. Leave the temperature at 200°C for another 5 minutes. The halo will remain white.

5. When you have finished, turn the function dial to ‘Off’. The halos will go out.

There will be a distinctive smell and a small amount of smoke during this process; this is normal. Make sure the kitchen is well ventilated. Once the oven has cooled, wipe it out with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly.

You can use the timer at any time, even if the oven is not in use. The timer does not turn the oven off. You can set the timer for up to 23 hours and 59 minutes.

1. Select the timer by pressing the right scroll (►) button once. The timer indicator (⏱) will appear and the colon will flash.

2. Press the select (✓) button to confirm. The display will flash to indicate the timer is ready to be set.

3. Set the desired time by pressing the scroll (◄ ►) buttons. Holding the buttons down will speed up the scrolling.

4. Press the select (✓) button to confirm. The timer will begin to count down.

If you want to check the time of day while the timer is running, press the cancel (X) button once. Press the right scroll (►) button to scroll back to the timer display.

When the set time is up, the display will show 0:00 and a tone will sound every 15 seconds. Press any button to stop the tone. The display will revert to showing the time of day.

To modify the timer setting:

1. Make sure the display shows the remaining time counting down.

2. Press the select (✓) button.

3. Press the scroll (◄ ►) buttons to set a new time.

4. Press the select (✓) button to confirm.

To cancel the timer setting:

1. Make sure the display shows the remaining time counting down.

2. Press the cancel (X) button until the display shows the time of day and the timer indicator (⏱) disappears.
