The CASIO MS-6NC features a Two-Way Power System, which combines a solar cell and a button battery. Under normal lighting conditions, the calculator is powered by the solar cell. In low light, it automatically switches to the battery.
The battery power is used to maintain stored values in memory even when power is off. If the display becomes dim and difficult to read even in complete darkness, it means the battery power is low. Please have the battery replaced by an authorized dealer. Leaving a dead battery in the calculator can lead to malfunctions, so it should be replaced as soon as possible.
