This vehicle is designed for use in offroad endurance competition and is not primarily for use in motocross. The homologated (restricted) version is authorized for operation on public roads. The derestricted version must only be operated in closed-off areas away from public highway traffic.

(US models)

This vehicle is designed for offroad leisure use and is not approved for use on public roads. It is not designed for use in racing on closed circuits or for Motocross use.

The stop button on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 has two primary states:

Basic position: In this position, the ignition circuit is closed, and the engine can be started.

Pressed: When the stop button is pressed, the ignition circuit is interrupted. A running engine will stop, and a non-running engine will not start.

The light switch on the HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 has the following states:

Low beam on: The light switch is in the central position. In this position, the low beam and tail light are switched on.

High beam on: The light switch is turned to the left. In this position, the high beam and the tail light are switched on.

The light switch on the HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 (US model) is located to the left of the combination instrument and has two states:

Light off: The light switch is pressed in up to the stop.

Light on: The light switch is pulled out to the stop. In this position, the low beam and tail light are switched on.

The turn signal switch on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 has the following possible states:

Turn signal off: The turn signal switch is in the central position.

Left turn signal on: The turn signal switch is turned to the left.

Right turn signal on: The turn signal switch is turned to the right.

The emergency OFF switch on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 has two positions:

Ignition off: In this position, the ignition circuit is interrupted. A running engine stops, and a non-running engine will not start.

Ignition on: In this position, the ignition circuit is closed, and the engine can be started.

You can change the engine characteristic and activate traction control on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 using the combination switch on the left side of the handlebar. The engine characteristic can be changed using the MAP button, and traction control can be activated via the TC button. The possible states are:

High beam indicator lamp (Blue): The high beam is switched on.

Malfunction indicator lamp (Yellow, lights up/flashes): The On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) has detected an error in the vehicle electronics. You should come to a safe stop and contact an authorized workshop.

Fuel level warning lamp (Yellow): The fuel level has reached the reserve mark.

Turn signal indicator lamp (Green, flashes): The turn signal is switched on.

The indicator lights on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 (US models) have the following meanings:

Malfunction indicator lamp (Yellow, lights up/flashes): The On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) has detected an error in the vehicle electronics. You should come to a safe stop and contact an authorized workshop.

Fuel level warning lamp (Yellow): The fuel level has reached the reserve mark.

Opening the cap:

Press the release button, turn the fuel tank filler cap counter-clockwise, and lift it off.

Closing the cap:

Mount the fuel tank filler cap and turn it clockwise until the release button engages. Ensure the fuel tank breather hose is routed without kinks.

The cold start button on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 is located at the bottom of the throttle valve body. It helps the engine burn increased fuel when cold by supplying additional oxygen.

To activate: Push the cold start button in all the way.

To deactivate: After briefly opening the throttle and releasing the throttle grip, or by turning the throttle grip towards the front, the cold start button returns to its original position. Always check that the cold start button has returned to its basic position.

Locking the steering:

Low Battery Icon: This indicates the battery voltage of the combination instrument is too low. You need to change the combination instrument battery.

Wrench Icon: This indicates that a service is due. You should contact an authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles workshop.

To access the setup menu on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022, the motorcycle must be stationary.

1. Press and hold both buttons for 3 to 5 seconds. The Setup menu will be displayed, and the UNIT display (KM/H or M/H) will flash.

2. To change units, press one of the buttons to select KM/H or M/H.

3. Wait for 5 seconds, and the combination instrument will change to the next menu item (clock symbol flashes).

4. Press one of the buttons to select a 24-hour or 12-hour display for the clock.

AVG, ART, ODO:

The lithium-ion battery in your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 may require several start attempts in cold weather. The heat created during these attempts helps the battery warm up and increase its starting power.

Press the start button for 5 seconds, then wait 15 seconds between attempts. At low temperatures, wait for 30 seconds. This allows heat to distribute through the battery.

Adjusting Low-Speed Compression:

1. Turn the adjusting screw (slotted screw) clockwise as far as the last perceptible click.

2. Turn it counterclockwise by the number of clicks corresponding to the desired setting. Turning clockwise increases damping; counterclockwise reduces damping.

Adjusting High-Speed Compression:

1. Using an open-end wrench, turn the adjusting screw (hexagonal screw) clockwise all the way.

2. Turn it counterclockwise by the number of turns corresponding to the desired setting. Turning clockwise increases damping; counterclockwise reduces damping.

To adjust the rebound damping of the shock absorber on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022:

1. Turn the adjusting screw at the bottom of the shock clockwise up to the last perceptible click.

2. Turn it counterclockwise by the number of clicks corresponding to the shock absorber type.

Turning clockwise increases damping, while turning counterclockwise reduces damping when the shock absorber rebounds.

Checking Static Sag:

1. Raise the motorcycle on a lift stand so the rear wheel is unloaded. Measure the distance from the rear axle to a fixed point on the rear fender (Dimension A).

2. Remove the motorcycle from the stand. With an assistant holding the bike upright, measure the same distance again (Dimension B).

3. The static sag is the difference between Dimension A and Dimension B. The target value is 37 mm (1.46 in).

Checking Riding Sag:

1. With the rider in full gear seated in a normal position (feet on footrests), have an assistant measure the distance from the rear axle to the same fixed point (Dimension C).

2. The riding sag is the difference between Dimension A and Dimension C. The target value is 110 mm (4.33 in).

If the sag values differ from the specifications, you may need to adjust the spring preload or change the spring.

Adjusting Compression Damping (Left Fork Leg):

1. Turn the white adjuster at the upper end of the left fork leg clockwise as far as it will go.

2. Turn it counterclockwise by the number of clicks for your desired setting.

Adjusting Rebound Damping (Right Fork Leg):

1. Turn the red adjuster at the upper end of the right fork leg clockwise as far as it will go.

2. Turn it counterclockwise by the number of clicks for your desired setting.

For both adjustments, turning clockwise increases damping and counterclockwise reduces it.

To adjust the spring preload on the fork of your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022:

1. Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

2. Turn the T-grips on top of both fork legs counterclockwise all the way until the marking “+0” aligns.

3. Turn the T-grips clockwise to the desired setting. Make the same adjustment on both fork legs by hand only.

The T-grips will engage noticeably at the numerical values. Adjusting the spring preload clockwise increases it, and counterclockwise reduces it.

To bleed excess pressure from the fork legs of your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022:

1. Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

2. Briefly release the bleeder screws on top of the fork legs to allow any excess pressure to escape.

3. Tighten the bleeder screws.

4. Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.

To clean the fork leg dust boots on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 and prevent oil seal leaks:

1. Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

2. Remove the fork protector.

3. Push the dust boots of both fork legs downward.

4. Clean and oil the dust boots and inner fork tubes of both fork legs using universal oil spray.

5. Press the dust boots back into their installation position and remove any excess oil.

6. Install the fork protector and remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.

Removing the Seat:

1. Remove the air filter box cover.

2. Remove the screw with the bushing at the rear of the seat.

3. Pull the seat back and lift it off.

Installing the Seat:

1. Mount the front of the seat on the collar bushing of the fuel tank and the rear in the bracket.

2. Push the seat forward, making sure it is latched in place correctly.

3. Mount and tighten the screw and the bushing. The specified torque is 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft).

4. Install the air filter box cover.

To clean the air filter on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022:

1. Remove the air filter box cover and then remove the air filter.

2. Wash the air filter thoroughly in a special air filter cleaning liquid and allow it to dry properly. Only press the air filter to dry it; never wring it out.

3. Oil the dry air filter with a high-grade foam air filter oil.

4. Clean the air filter box and check the intake flange for damage and looseness.

5. Reinstall the air filter and the air filter box cover.

Checking Chain Tension:

1. Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

2. Ensure the lower chain section is taut.

3. Pull the chain upward at the end of the chain sliding piece and measure the distance. Chain wear is not always even, so repeat this measurement at different chain positions.

The correct chain tension is 55 to 58 mm (2.17 to 2.28 in).

Adjusting Chain Tension:

1. Loosen the rear wheel spindle nut and the lock nuts on the adjusting screws.

2. Adjust the chain tension by turning the adjusting screws on the left and right.

3. Ensure the markings on the left and right chain adjusters are in the same position relative to the reference marks for correct wheel alignment.

4. Tighten the lock nuts.

5. Ensure the chain adjusters are fitted correctly on the adjusting screws.

6. Tighten the rear wheel spindle nut to 80 Nm (59 lbf ft).

To check the drivetrain for wear on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022:

1. Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand and shift the transmission into neutral.

2. Check the chain, rear sprocket, and engine sprocket for visible wear (e.g., hooked teeth).

3. To measure chain wear, pull on the top section of the chain with a weight of 10 to 15 kg (22 to 33 lb.).

4. Measure the distance of 18 chain rollers in the lower chain section. Repeat at different points on the chain.

5. The maximum distance should not exceed 272 mm (10.71 in). If it is greater, or if the sprockets are worn, you must change the entire drivetrain kit (chain, front sprocket, and rear sprocket) together.

Checking the Fluid Level:

1. Move the brake fluid reservoir on the handlebar to a horizontal position.

2. Check the fluid level in the level viewer. For standard models, the level should not be below the MIN marking. For the ROCKSTAR EDITION, it should not be below the lower edge of the level viewer.

Adding Brake Fluid:

1. If the level is low, remove the screws and the cover with the membrane from the reservoir.

2. Add Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 until the level is 5 mm (0.2 in) below the reservoir rim.

3. Position the cover with the membrane and tighten the screws.

To change the front brake linings on your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022:

1. Ensure the brake fluid reservoir is horizontal. You may need to remove the cover to prevent overflow in the next step.

2. Manually press the brake caliper toward the brake disc to push the brake pistons back. Be careful not to press the caliper against the wheel spokes.

3. Remove the cotter pins and pull out the retaining pin.

4. Remove the old brake linings.

5. Clean the brake caliper and bracket. Ensure the spring plate and brake pad sliding plate are seated correctly.

6. Insert the new brake linings (always change in pairs).

7. Mount the retaining pin, ensuring the spring plate engages in the groove on the pin.

8. Mount new cotter pins.

9. Operate the hand brake lever repeatedly until the brake linings are in contact with the brake disc and there is a pressure point.

10. Check and correct the brake fluid level if necessary.

Removing the Battery:

1. Remove the air filter box cover and the seat.

2. Disconnect the negative cable (black) from the battery first.

3. Pull back the positive terminal cover and disconnect the positive cable (red).

4. Remove the starter relay and fuse box from the holding bracket and hang them to the side.

5. Detach the wiring harness and disconnect the relays.

6. Remove the screw from the holding bracket and unhook it.

7. Lift out the 12-V battery.

Installing the Battery:

1. Insert the battery into the compartment with the terminals facing forward and secure it with the holding bracket.

2. Mount and tighten the screw for the battery support bracket to 6 Nm (4.4 lbf ft).

3. Place the relays on the holding bracket and attach the wiring harness.

4. Attach the starter relay and fuse box.

5. Connect the positive cable (red) first, then connect the negative cable (black). Tighten the terminal screws to 2.5 Nm (1.84 lbf ft).

6. Reinstall the seat and air filter box cover.

To charge the 12-V battery of your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022:

1. Remove the battery from the motorcycle.

2. Check the battery voltage. If it is below 9 V, do not charge it; replace it instead.

3. If the voltage is 9 V or higher, connect a suitable battery charger for lithium iron phosphate batteries.

4. Switch on the battery charger.

5. After charging, switch off the charger and disconnect it from the battery.

6. Reinstall the battery in the motorcycle.

Changing the Main Fuse:

1. Remove the seat.

2. Pull the starter relay from its holder.

3. Take off the protection caps and remove the faulty main fuse (20 A). A spare fuse is located in the starter relay.

4. Insert a new main fuse and mount the protection caps and starter relay.

Changing Individual Fuses:

1. The fuse box is located under the seat. Remove the seat.

2. Open the fuse box cover.

3. Remove the faulty fuse and replace it with a spare fuse of the correct rating. The fuse assignments are:

(All EU models)

Fuse 1 – 10 A – EFI, instruments, etc.

Fuse 2 – 10 A – Lights

Fuse 3 – 10 A – Radiator fan, horn, brake light, turn signal

Fuse 4 – 5 A – Fuel pump

(US models)

Fuse 1 – 10 A – EFI, instruments, etc.

Fuse 2 – 10 A – Low beam, position light, tail light

Fuse 3 – 10 A – Radiator fan

Fuse 4 – 5 A – Fuel pump

4. Close the fuse box cover and reinstall the seat.

To change the headlight bulb:

1. Remove the headlight mask with the headlight.

2. Turn the protection cap together with the underlying bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it.

3. Pull the bulb socket of the position light out of the reflector.

4. Pull out the old headlight bulb (HS1 / Sockel PX43t).

5. Insert the new headlight bulb, avoiding touching the glass with bare hands.

6. Insert the protection cap with the bulb socket into the reflector and turn it clockwise all the way, ensuring the O-ring is seated properly.

7. Insert the bulb socket of the position light back into the reflector.

8. Reinstall the headlight mask and check the headlight setting.

Checking the Headlight Setting:

1. Position the vehicle upright on a horizontal surface 5 m (16 ft) away from a light wall.

2. Make a marking on the wall at the height of the center of the low beam headlight.

3. Make another mark 5 cm (2 in) below the first marking.

4. Have a rider sit on the motorcycle and switch on the low beam.

5. The boundary between light and dark must be exactly on the lower mark.

Adjusting the Headlight Range:

If the boundary is incorrect, loosen the screw behind the headlight mask and adjust the range by pivoting the headlight up or down. Once correct, tighten the screw.

To change the coolant in your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022, ensure the engine is cold.

1. Position the motorcycle upright and place a container under the water pump cover.

2. Remove the radiator cap and the drain screw on the water pump cover to completely drain the coolant.

3. Mount and tighten the drain screw with a new seal ring to 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft).

4. Pour in 1.2 L (1.3 qt.) of new coolant until the level is 10 mm (0.39 in) above the radiator fins.

5. Mount the radiator cap.

6. Go for a short test ride, then allow the engine to cool and check the coolant level again, adding more if necessary.

Checking the Play:

With the handlebar in the straight-ahead position, turn the throttle grip back and forth slightly. The play in the throttle cable should be 3 to 5 mm (0.12 to 0.2 in).

Adjusting the Play:

1. Move the handlebar to the straight-ahead position and push back the protective sleeve on the throttle cable adjuster near the throttle grip.

2. Loosen the lock nut on the adjuster.

3. Turn the adjusting screw to set the correct play.

4. Tighten the lock nut and slide the sleeve back on.

5. Check the throttle grip for smooth operation.

To change the engine oil, the engine should be at operating temperature.

1. Park the motorcycle on a level surface and place a container under the engine.

2. Remove the oil drain plug with the magnet and the screw plug with the oil screen to drain the oil completely.

3. Thoroughly clean all parts and sealing surfaces. Push the cleaned oil screen back into the engine case.

4. Mount and tighten the screw plug for the oil screen to 15 Nm (11.1 lbf ft).

5. Mount and tighten the oil drain plug with a new seal ring to 20 Nm (14.8 lbf ft).

6. Remove the screws from the oil filter cover and pull out the old oil filter.

7. Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing about ⅓ full with engine oil. Place the new oil filter in the housing.

8. Oil the O-ring of the oil filter cover, mount it, and tighten the screws to 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft).

9. Stand the motorcycle upright. Remove the filler plug and fill up with 1.0 L (1.1 qt.) of Engine oil (SAE 10W/50).

10. Mount the filler plug, start the engine, and check for leaks.

1. Close off the exhaust system to prevent water from entering.

2. Remove coarse dirt with a gentle jet of water.

3. Spray heavily soiled parts with a commercial motorcycle cleaner and clean with a brush.

4. After rinsing with a gentle spray of water, allow the motorcycle to dry thoroughly.

5. Remove the closure from the exhaust system.

6. After cleaning, ride the vehicle a short distance until the engine warms up to evaporate any trapped water.

7. After the motorcycle has cooled down, lubricate all moving parts and pivot points, and clean the chain.

8. Treat bare metal parts with a corrosion inhibitor and plastic/powder-coated parts with a care product.

To prepare your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 for long-term storage:

1. When refueling for the last time, add a fuel additive.

2. Clean the motorcycle.

3. Change the engine oil and oil filter, and clean the oil screen.

4. Check the antifreeze and coolant level.

5. Check the tire pressure.

6. Remove and charge the 12-V battery. The ideal storage temperature for the battery is 10 … 20 °C (50 … 68 °F).

7. Store the vehicle in a dry location, preferably raised on a lift stand.

8. Cover the motorcycle with a permeable cover (like a tarp), not a non-porous material.

To prepare your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 for use after a period of storage:

1. Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.

2. Install the fully charged 12-V battery.

3. Perform all the standard checks and maintenance measures required before riding.

4. Take a short test ride.

If the engine of your HUSQVARNA FE 350 ROCKSTAR EDITION 2022 cannot be cranked by the starter motor, check the following:

Possible Cause: Operating error.

Action: Carry out the correct start procedure.

Possible Cause: 12-V battery is discharged.

Action: Charge the 12-V battery. Check the charging voltage, open-circuit current, and stator winding of the alternator.

Possible Cause: Main fuse is blown.

Action: Change the main fuse.
