How do I remove the battery from the BEYERDYNAMIC AVENTHO 300 headphones?

Caution: The removal of the battery is intended for professional staff only. Before removal, discharge the battery. For this product, a non-destructive removal of the battery by the end user is not possible. Due to the safety risk, this activity may only be carried out by professional staff.

1. Discharge the battery before disposing of it.

2. Remove the ear pad from the left (L) housing by grabbing it at the lower end from the inside under the ear pad and pulling it downwards from the fastening ring of the housing.

3. Loosen the five screws of the acoustic baffle on the left housing with a suitable screwdriver.

4. Grab into the gap between the acoustic baffle and housing at the top and carefully fold the acoustic baffle downwards. Caution: The cable of the circuit board is soldered to the acoustic baffle.

5. Remove the cover from the battery housing.

6. Disconnect the plug of the red/white/black cables by hand in the direction of the arrow and remove the battery.

Caution: The battery is attached to the housing with a double-sided adhesive tape to prevent vibrations. Some effort is therefore required to remove the battery. If necessary, you can use a soft, blunt tool, e.g., a plastic spatula or the cover of the battery housing. Make sure that the battery is not damaged when you remove it.

How should I dispose of the BEYERDYNAMIC AVENTHO 300 headphones and their batteries?

Always dispose of used equipment in accordance with applicable regulations. For the return of old equipment, batteries and rechargeable batteries, there are free collection points or a free return to beyerdynamic, as well as other acceptance points for reuse. The addresses are available at the local city or municipal administration.

If the device is operated with batteries, these must be removed before disposal. If batteries are permanently installed in the device, they must be removed by professional staff for safety reasons.

Before disposal, discharge and remove the batteries.

The consumer/end-user is responsible for the deletion of personal data on the waste electrical/electronic equipment.
