The LED on your ASUS RT-BE58 GO has several indications based on its color and behavior:

The ASUS RT-BE58 GO features the following ports and buttons:

• 1 GbE LAN port

• Reset button

• Slide switch

• USB Type-C (DCIN) port

• 2.5 GbE WAN port

• USB 3.0 Gen1x1 port

Follow these steps to prepare your modem:

1. Unplug the power of your cable or DSL modem. If it has a battery backup, remove the battery.

2. Connect your modem to the WAN port on the back side of the ASUS RT-BE58 GO router with the provided network cable.

3. Power on the modem. Plug the modem into a power outlet and turn it on.

4. Check the modem’s LED lights to ensure the connection is active.

Note: If you are using DSL for internet, you will need your username and password from your Internet service provider (ISP) to properly configure your router.

1. Plug the adapter into the DCIN port on the router.

2. The LED will light up when the hardware is ready.

1. On your iOS or Android mobile device, go to the app store, search for “ASUS Router,” and download the app.

2. On your iOS or Android mobile device, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, and connect to the default network SSID shown on the product label on the bottom of the router. The SSID will be in the format “ASUS_XX”. The “XX” refers to the last two digits of the MAC address, which can be found on the label. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the product label to connect to the default network SSID.

3. Launch the ASUS Router app and follow the instructions to complete the setup.

You can set up your router with a wired or wireless connection:

[Wired] Connect your PC to the LAN port on the back side of the router using an additional network cable.

[Wireless] Connect to the network with the default SSID “ASUS_XX” shown on the product label on the bottom side of your router.

After connecting, open a web browser. You should be redirected to the ASUS Setup Wizard. If not, navigate to http://www.asusrouter.com. Follow the instructions to complete the setup.

During the Quick Internet Setup (QIS) process, navigate to Manual setting > Router mode > Mobile tether for more information on connecting your ASUS RT-BE58 GO to a mobile hotspot.

To use a mobile hotspot connection properly with your ASUS RT-BE58 GO, please use a charger or power bank that supports the standard PD protocol, or a USB charger with an output of 9V/2A or 12V/2A.

If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, you are encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Please adhere to the following safety notices when using your ASUS RT-BE58 GO:

• Use this product in environments with ambient temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F).

• Refer to the rating label on the bottom of your product and ensure your power adapter complies with this rating.

• DO NOT place on uneven or unstable work surfaces. Seek servicing if the casing has been damaged.

• DO NOT place or drop objects on top and do not shove any foreign objects into the product.

• DO NOT expose to or use near liquids, rain, or moisture. DO NOT use the modem during electrical storms.

• DO NOT cover the vents on the product to prevent the system from getting overheated.

• DO NOT use damaged power cords, accessories, or other peripherals.

• If the Adapter is broken, do not try to fix it by yourself. Contact a qualified service technician or your retailer.

• To prevent electrical shock hazard, disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet before relocating the system.

• DO NOT mount this equipment higher than 2 meters.

• The power supply cord(s) must be plugged into socket-outlet(s) that is/are provided with a suitable earth ground.

• The power adapter must comply with Limited Power Source (LPS) or PS2 requirements.
