• The maximum washing capacity in kg for the Cotton program is indicated on the rating plate.

To ensure child safety around the ASKO WM76S washing machine, please follow these guidelines:

• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

• Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

• Keep detergent and conditioner out of reach of children.

• Before starting a program, ensure no one (e.g., a child) is inside the drum.

• Activate the Lock feature (see Appliance settings) to prevent accidental operation.

• The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above if they have been given supervision or instruction on its safe use.

• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.

Yes, at higher washing temperatures, the door glass will heat up. Be careful to avoid burns and ensure children do not play near the door glass.

• The washing machine may only be used with the supplied power cord. A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized person.

• Do not connect the machine to an external switching device like a timer or a circuit that is regularly switched on and off.

• Connection to water and power supply must be done by a trained expert.

• Any repairs should be performed by trained experts.

• Do not install the machine in a room where the temperature can drop below 5°C, as this can damage parts due to water freezing.

• Ensure ventilation openings in the base are not obstructed by a carpet.

• After installation, wait two hours before connecting the machine to the power mains.

• Do not use an extension cord to connect the machine to the power mains.

• Do not connect the machine to an electrical outlet intended for an electric shaver or hair dryer.

• Use the supplied water supply hose and gaskets for connection. Water pressure must be between 0.1 and 1 MPa.

• Always use a new water supply hose; do not reuse an old one.

• Do not use detergents containing solvents, as this can release poisonous gases and pose a fire or explosion risk.

• Only use detergents and care agents intended for machine washing.

• Use of incorrect bleaching or coloring agents can damage gaskets and plastic parts.

• Avoid using colorants or bleaching substances with sulphuric compounds that cause corrosion.

• Before starting a cycle, press the door on the indicated spot until it locks. The door cannot be opened during operation.

• It is recommended to run a Drum Cleaning program before the first wash to remove any impurities from the drum.

• After each wash, close the water tap and unplug the machine from the power socket.

• This machine is for washing laundry only, not for dry cleaning.

• For removing limescale, use agents with added anti-corrosion protection and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Finish by rinsing several times or running a Drum Cleaning program.

The ASKO WM76S is equipped with water overflow protection. If the water level rises above the normal level, the protection system will activate, pump out the water, and close the water supply. If the water level does not decrease within 60 seconds, the program will be interrupted, and an error will be signaled.

If you need to transport or store the ASKO WM76S in a location where temperatures may drop below freezing, follow these steps:

1. Clean the drain pump filter.

2. Close the water supply to the machine.

3. Undo the water supply hose from the tap and wait for all water to flow out of the tap and the hose.

4. After the filter is emptied, a small amount of water may remain, but this will not damage the appliance.

5. If the machine is to be transported, reinstall the transport protection bolts.

Before using your ASKO WM76S, you must remove the three transport bolts and plastic plugs that protect the appliance during transport.

1. Use a spanner (no. 15 or 17, depending on the model) to loosen and remove the bolts from the back of the machine.

2. To remove the plastic plugs holding the bolts, squeeze them and then pull them out.

3. Remove the caps from the plastic plugs. Push these caps into the holes where the plastic plugs were located.

4. Save the bolts and plastic plugs in case you need to move your washing machine again.

1. Disconnect the washing machine from the power mains and open the door.

2. Clean the washing machine drum with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

3. Connect the machine to the power mains, close the door, and run the self-cleaning program (Drum Cleaning).

To reduce noise and vibration, it’s important that the ASKO WM76S is stable and level.

1. Level the washing machine in both longitudinal and traverse directions by rotating the adjustable feet using a spanner no. 32. The feet allow for leveling by +/- 1 cm.

2. Once the machine is level, use a spanner no. 17 to firmly tighten the lock nuts (counter nuts) towards the bottom of the machine.

3. Tighten the lock nuts to the end position.

Incorrect leveling is not subject to warranty and can cause vibration and movement.

The water inlet hose is inside the drum. It must be connected to the appliance and the water supply by an adequately trained person.

• The ASKO WM76S features an AQUA-STOP system. If an internal tube or hose is damaged, a shut-off system cuts the water supply, and a control glass (a) will turn red. If this happens, the water supply hose must be replaced.

• Connect the supplied hose to the appliance and the water tap. Water pressure must be between 0.1 and 1 MPa (1-10 bar).

• If the hoses are new, rinse them to remove any impurities before connecting.

• The hose must be fastened firmly to ensure a good seal. After connecting, check for any leaks.

• Only use the water supply hose supplied with the appliance. Do not use any used or other hoses.

• If the hose connection is a different dimension than the water tap (e.g., 3/4” → 1/2″), use an adapter.

The drain hose can be installed in three ways:

1. Into a wall drain with a siphon (A), which must be properly installed for cleaning.

2. Into a sink or bathtub (B). Use a string to attach the hose through the opening in the elbow to prevent it from slipping to the floor.

3. Directly into the sink drain (C). The diameter of the drain hose must be at least 4 cm, and the internal hose diameter should be at least 18 mm (D).

The end of the drain hose must be at least 600 mm and no more than 900 mm from the ground. The lower position (60 cm) is always recommended. Ensure the drain hose is not bent.

The main components of the ASKO WM76S are:

1. Main switch for turning On/Off

2. Knob for selection and confirmation

3. Touch screen

4. Start/Pause button

5. Washing machine door

6. QR and AUID code (on the perimeter of the washing machine door)

7. Rating plate with information about the washing machine (on the inside of the washing machine door)

8. Detergent compartment

9. Drain filter cover

10. Water drain hose

11. Drain filter pump (installed behind the drain pump filter)

12. Drum light

The detergent compartment with Auto Dose System (ADS) consists of:

1. Compartment for main wash liquid and powder detergent with the inscription “MainWash”.

2. Softener compartment with the inscription “Softener”.

3. Separator or movable barrier. Use the upper position for washing powder and the lower position for liquid detergent.

4. Level gauge. Shows “ml” on one side and “tbsp” on the other.

5. Tank (A) for liquid detergent for ADS.

6. Tank (B) for liquid detergent or softener for ADS.

7. Release mechanism for the detergent compartment (on the bottom side).

When you connect and switch on the ASKO WM76S for the first time, you need to configure the following settings:

1. Choose language: Scroll left or right to navigate the list of languages, then press to confirm your selection.

2. Transport Protection: The appliance will remind you to remove all transport protection. If you have already done so, press Confirm.

3. Water hardness: Choose between Soft, Medium – Normal, or Hard. You can use the supplied test strip to determine your water hardness.

4. Temperature unit: Choose between Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).

5. Liquid unit: Choose between Millilitres (ml) or Tablespoons (tbsp).

6. Weight unit: Choose between Kilogrammes (kg) or Pounds (lbs).

7. Auto dose system: Choose to turn the ADS on or off. If on, select which tank (A or B) the detergent will be dispensed from.

8. Wi-Fi settings: Choose to turn the Wi-Fi connection on or off.

After configuring these settings, press the final OK button to complete the setup.

1. Turn on the water tap and let the water run for a minute or so.

2. Fill a glass with cold water.

3. Remove the test strip from its packaging.

4. Dip the test strip in the water for about one second.

5. Wait one minute. Now compare the colours of the squares with the water hardness table provided in the manual to determine the hardness.

To connect your ASKO WM76S to a home Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz supported) and the ConnectLife app, follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the ConnectLife app by scanning the QR code in the manual or searching for it in your app store.

Step 2: Install the app and create an account.

Step 3: In the app, go to the “Add device” menu and select the appropriate device type. Scan the QR code found on the rating plate of the appliance (you can also enter the AUID/SN number manually).

Step 4: The application will guide you through the rest of the connection process.

To enable Wi-Fi on the device:

1. Turn on the appliance and in the main menu, go to “Additional service settings”.

2. Select “Wi-Fi settings”.

3. Make sure the Wi-Fi setting is switched on.

4. Select “Connection setup” and follow the instructions in the app.

Enable remote start:

In the main menu on the appliance, select “Remote start”. To activate, press the Start/Pause button (the door must be closed). The appliance is now ready for remote control through the ConnectLife app. Remote start remains active for 24 hours unless cancelled.

Add another user:

1. On the appliance, go to “Additional service settings” -> “Wi-Fi settings”.

2. Select “Add device (Pair device)”.

3. The new user should open the ConnectLife app on their smart device, go to the “Add device” menu, and follow the instructions.

4. On the appliance, press “Next”. A 3-minute countdown will begin, during which the new user must connect the app to the appliance.

Remove users:

1. On the appliance, go to “Additional service settings” -> “Wi-Fi settings”.

2. Select “Unpair device” and press OK. This will remove all active users.

The Auto Dose System (ADS) allows you to store and automatically dispense liquid detergent and softener.

1. Choosing the settings for ADS:

• Select a washing program, then press the “Dose” icon.

• In the Dose menu, enter “Settings”.

• Turn on ADS. You can then determine which detergent will be dispensed from tank A and which from tank B.

• Tank A is for liquid detergent for coloured, white, black, delicate or other laundry.

• Tank B is for liquid detergent for different laundry types, softener, or other rinse aids.

• You can also choose the laundry dirt level (lightly, normally, or heavily soiled).

• Set the amount (concentration) of liquid detergent (10 ml to 100 ml) for each tank based on the manufacturer’s recommendation for a 4-6 kg load.

2. Filling the tank for ADS:

• Pull out the dosing container.

• Open the lid of ADS tank A and pour in liquid detergent up to the “MAX” mark.

• Open the lid of ADS tank B and pour in liquid detergent or softener up to the “MAX” mark.

• Do not place any powder detergent in the ADS compartments.

• Close the detergent container.

3. Switching off auto dose:

• In the Dose menu, enter “Settings” and switch off ADS. When ADS is off, you must add detergent to the manual detergent compartment.

Before washing, sort your laundry according to:

• How soiled it is

• Colour

• Material

• Permissible washing temperature

Also, prepare your clothing by:

• Washing laundry that sheds a lot of lint separately.

• Emptying all pockets of items like coins, nails, etc.

• Closing buttons and zippers, tying ribbons, and turning pockets inside out.

• Turning delicate items inside out.

• Placing very sensitive and small items in a special-purpose laundry washing bag.

Detergents:

• Only use detergents for machine washing.

• Dilute thick liquid laundry care products with water to prevent clogging.

• Add detergents according to the manufacturer’s recommendations for load size and water hardness.

Stains:

• Treat stubborn stains (blood, coffee, grass, etc.) appropriately before the wash.

• Soak the stain with an absorbent sponge, then rinse with cold (lukewarm) water, never hot water.

• To protect the environment, avoid using powerful chemical removers. Only use stain removing detergents.

Dyeing Fabrics:

• If you want to dye fabrics, choose the Cotton program with the Super rinse function.

• Set the temperature according to the dye manufacturer’s recommendations.

• After dyeing, run the Drum Cleaning program with a usual amount of detergent.

STEP 1: Sort the laundry.

Sort laundry according to fabric type, colour, and soil level.

STEP 2: Turn on the main switch.

Press the On/Off button.

STEP 3: Open the washing machine door and insert the laundry.

Pull the handle to open the door. Place laundry in the drum, but do not overload it.

STEP 4: Add the detergent and the softener.

Add powder or liquid detergent to the main wash compartment, or use the Auto Dose System (ADS). Pour softener into the compartment with the softener symbol.

STEP 5: Choose the program.

Rotate the selector knob or touch the screen to select a program based on your laundry type.

STEP 6: Choose the program settings.

Adjust settings like temperature, spin speed, and washing mode as needed. These settings must be chosen before starting the wash.

STEP 7: Start the wash.

Close the door and press the Start/Pause button.

STEP 8: End of program.

When the program is finished, the display will indicate it is complete. You can then open the door and remove the laundry. Close the water tap and unplug the machine.

FL: Full Load, HL: Half Load

• To pause: Briefly press the Start/Pause button.

• To resume: Press the Start/Pause button again.

• To stop (cancel): Press and hold the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds. The program will be cancelled, and water will be pumped out if necessary. You can then select a new program.

• To add or remove laundry: Pause the program. If the water level and temperature are low enough, you can open the door. Add or remove laundry, close the door, and press Start/Pause to resume.

Regular cleaning is important for the correct operation of the auto dose system. Clean the empty container at least once a month or with every other filling.

1. On the right side of the lower part of the dosing container, press the release mechanism and completely remove the container from its housing.

2. On the underside of the container, push into the opening of the left and right ADS compartment to remove the tank from the container.

3. Remove the tank cover using the tab on the rear side. Rinse the tank under water and clean thoroughly, using a brush if needed.

4. Open the tank cap and clean it.

5. Clean the interior of the dosing container housing.

6. Reinstall the tank into the housing of the dosing container.

7. Use a brush to clean the nozzles on the upper and lower part of the detergent compartment housing inside the machine.

8. Put the dosing container back into its housing and close it.

The dosing container can be washed in a dishwasher (max 55°C) after removing any detergent or softener residues.

It is recommended to clean the filter once a month.

1. Before cleaning, drain the water from the machine using the Drain program and disconnect the machine from the power mains.

2. Open the pump filter cover using an appropriate tool.

3. Release the water drain hose from its holder.

4. Place a large shallow container under the hose, open the cap, and let all the water drain out.

5. Gradually rotate the filter counter-clockwise and pull it out.

6. Clean the filter thoroughly under running water.

7. Remove any objects and impurities from the filter housing and the impeller.

8. Replace the filter and fasten it by rotating it clockwise. The filter seal surface should be clean for a good seal.

9. Reattach the drain hose and close the lid.

Exterior:

Clean the appliance exterior and the display using a soft, damp cotton cloth and water. Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaners. Do not clean the machine with a jet of water.

Interior (against odours):

Washing at low temperatures can lead to residue buildup and odours. To avoid this, run the Drum Cleaning program once per month. Use a small amount of powder detergent without any laundry in the drum.

Gasket:

After every wash, wipe the rubber door gasket and remove any objects that may have become stuck in it.

Hard Water:

If you have hard water, a greyish-white coating may appear on the drum. Remove this by pouring alcohol vinegar (approx. 2 dl) or sodium bicarbonate (1 tablespoon or 15 g) into the drum and running a program at 90°C or the Drum Cleaning program.

If a failure occurs, an error code will be displayed. In case of an error, switch the appliance off, wait at least 1 minute, then switch it on again and repeat the program. If the error persists, call a service center.

The door can be opened manually if the appliance is not connected to power and the water has been pumped out of the machine.

A. First, try to drain the water using the Spinning or Drain program. If this doesn’t work, drain the water manually by cleaning the filter.

B. Make sure the main switch is off and the plug is disconnected from the power outlet.

C. Use the door opening tool (located on the front right side of the dosing container) to manually operate the lock mechanism located near the door latch area.

The ASKO WM76S uses advanced technology to sense the amount of laundry and adjust the required amount of water. This means the washing time can be longer or shorter than initially displayed, and the time will be adjusted accordingly during the cycle.

Additionally, the displayed time can change due to differences in inlet water temperature; low temperatures can extend washing time, while higher temperatures can shorten it.

Unevenly distributed laundry can also cause the appliance to attempt to redistribute the load, which leads to a longer program duration.

The product’s packaging is made from environmentally friendly, recyclable materials.

The symbol on the product indicates it should not be treated as normal household waste. It should be taken to an authorized collection center for waste electric and electronic equipment processing.

When disposing of the ASKO WM76S, remove all power cords and destroy the door latch and switch to prevent the door from locking (child safety).
