To set your appliance to ‘On’, press the On/Standby button. The appliance is ready to use when it has reached the correct temperature and the primary screen is shown. Each time the appliance is set to ‘On’, it performs an automatic preheat and rinse cycle which cannot be interrupted. The appliance is ready for use only after this cycle is complete.

TIP: Place a cup under the spouts to collect the hot water from the rinse cycle to warm the cup.

NOTE: Do not push the main switch while the appliance is set to ‘On’.


How do I set the ASKO CMB84GG to ‘Standby’ or turn it ‘Off’?

To put the appliance in ‘Standby’ mode, press the On/Standby button. Each time the appliance is set to ‘Standby’ after making coffee, it performs an automatic rinse cycle.

If you do not use the appliance for a long period, set the appliance to ‘Off’. To disconnect the appliance completely, place the main switch on the side of the appliance in the 0 (off) position.


What are some important tips for making coffee with the ASKO CMB84GG?

• The supply of coffee can be stopped at any moment.

• As soon as the supply has ended, you can increase the quantity of water.

• You can customise beverages.

• Adjust the grind level if the coffee is supplied a drop at a time or is too weak and not creamy enough.

• To make hotter coffee: Perform a rinse cycle to warm the cups, supply hot water to warm the cups, use the cup warmer setting, or increase the coffee temperature in the settings.

• Once a beverage has been made, the appliance is ready to make the next one.

Follow these steps to make coffee using coffee beans:

1. Open the lid of the bean container.

2. Add coffee beans to the container.

3. Place one or two cups under the coffee spouts.

Follow these steps to use pre-ground coffee:

1. Ensure the appliance is set to ‘On’.

2. Select the pre-ground coffee option on the display.

3. Lift the lid of the ground coffee funnel.

4. Add one measuring spoon of pre-ground coffee into the funnel.

5. Place a cup under the coffee spouts.

6. Select your beverage to start the brewing process.

NOTE: Only add pre-ground coffee when the appliance is ‘On’. Only make one cup of coffee at a time and do not use more than 1 measuring spoon. Ensure the funnel is not blocked.
