General Safety:

• Do not use the washing machine without first reading and understanding the instruction manual.

• This appliance is intended for household and similar applications. It must not be used in areas for communal use in blocks of flats or launderettes.

• Before first use, remove all transit bolts as described in the “Transport protection” section.

• Failure to observe instructions may result in damage to the laundry or appliance, or injury to the user.

Child Safety:

• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

• Keep detergent and conditioner out of reach of children.

• Before closing the door, ensure no children or pets are inside the drum.

• Activate the child lock feature (see “Appliance settings”).

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Danger of Hot Surface:

• At higher washing temperatures, the door glass will heat up. Be careful to avoid burns and ensure children do not play near the door glass.

• The appliance must be connected to the water and power supply by a trained expert.

• The washing machine may only be used with the supplied power cord. A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service technician, or an authorized person.

• Do not connect the machine to an external switching device like a timer.

• Do not install the machine in a room where the temperature can drop below 5°C, as this can damage parts due to water freezing.

• After installation, the washing machine should stand still for two hours before connecting it to the power mains.

• Do not use an extension cord to connect the machine to the power mains.

• Use the new, supplied water supply hose and gaskets. Water pressure must be between 0.1 and 1 MPa.

• The end of the water discharge hose should reach into a water drain line.

• Do not use detergents that contain solvents, as this could lead to the release of poisonous gases, damage the machine, and create a risk of fire and explosion.

• Only use detergents and care agents intended for machine washing.

• Before starting a wash cycle, press the door on the indicated spot until it locks. The door cannot be opened during operation.

• It is recommended to run the Drum Cleaning program before the first wash to remove any impurities from the drum.

• After each washing cycle, close the water tap and unplug the washing machine from the power socket.

• To remove limescale deposits, use only agents with added anti-corrosion protection and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

If you need to transport or store the appliance in a location where temperatures could drop below freezing, please do the following:

1. Clean the drain pump filter.

2. Close the water supply to the machine.

3. Undo the water supply hose from the tap and wait until all water flows out of the tap and the hose.

4. Note that a small amount of water may remain in the machine, but this will not damage the appliance.

5. If the machine is to be transported, the transport protection bolts must be re-installed.

Before using the appliance, you must remove the three transport bolts and plastic plugs that protect the appliance during transport.

1. Use a spanner (no. 15 or 17, depending on the model) to loosen and remove the bolts from the back of the machine.

2. To remove the plastic plugs holding the bolts, squeeze them and then pull them out.

3. Remove the caps from the plastic plugs. Push these caps into the holes where the plastic plugs were located.

4. Save the bolts and plastic plugs in case you need to move your washing machine again.

1. Remove Packaging: Remove all packaging materials, ensuring not to damage the appliance with a sharp object.

2. Remove Transport Protection: Follow the steps to remove the three transport bolts and plastic plugs.

3. Clean the appliance: Disconnect the machine from the power mains. Open the door and clean the drum with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. After cleaning, connect the machine to the power, close the door, and run the self-cleaning program.

Proper positioning is crucial to reduce noise and vibration.

1. Select a location: The floor must have a concrete base and be clean and dry. The washing machine must stand level and stable on a solid base. Ensure the wall outlet is freely accessible.

2. Adjust the feet: Place the washing machine so it is stable. Use a spanner (no. 32) to rotate the adjustable feet to level the machine in both longitudinal and traverse directions. The feet allow for levelling by +/- 1 cm.

3. Lock the feet: Once the machine is level, use a spanner (no. 17) to firmly tighten the lock nuts (counter nuts) towards the bottom of the machine until they are in the end position.

Incorrect levelling may cause vibration, sliding, and loud operation, and is not subject to warranty.

Yes, you can stack an ASKO dryer on top of your washing machine. At least two people are required for this installation.

To stack a dryer, use the front feet attachments (plastic footrests) and the tipping guard, which are supplied in the dryer drum. All ASKO washing machines can bear the weight of the dryer.

For detailed instructions, refer to the instructions provided with your ASKO tumble dryer. The tipping guard is designed specifically for ASKO washing machines and cannot be installed on other brands.

The water inlet hose is located inside the drum. Before use, it must be connected to the appliance and the water supply by a trained person.

1. Ensure the water pressure is between 0.1 and 1 MPa (1–10 bar).

2. Use the new water supply hose provided. Do not use an old hose.

3. If the hoses are newly installed, rinse them to remove any impurities that could clog the filter.

4. Fasten the water intake hose firmly to ensure a good seal. After connecting, check for any leaks.

5. If the hose connection is a different dimension than the water tap (e.g., 3/4” -> 1/2”), use an adapter.

AQUA-STOP Feature: If an internal tube or hose is damaged, a shut-off system is activated, and the control glass (a) on the hose will turn red. If this happens, the water supply hose must be replaced.

The drain hose is attached to the back wall upon delivery and must be connected to a drain. The end of the drain hose should be at least 600 mm and no more than 900 mm from the ground. The lower position (60 cm) is always recommended. Ensure the hose is not bent.

The drain hose can be installed in one of three ways:

1. Into a wall drain with a siphon (A): This must be properly installed so it can be cleaned.

2. Into a sink or bathtub (B): Use a string to attach the hose through the opening in the elbow to prevent it from slipping to the floor.

3. Directly into the sink drain (C): The diameter of the drain must be at least 4 cm. The internal hose diameter should be at least 18 mm (D).

When you connect and switch on the appliance for the first time, you need to configure the following settings:

1. Choose language: Scroll left or right to navigate the list of languages and press to confirm your selection.

2. Transport Protection Removal: The appliance will remind you to remove all transport protection. If you have already done so, press Confirm.

3. Water hardness: Choose between Soft, Normal, or Hard. You can determine your water hardness using the provided test strip or by contacting your local water distributor.

4. Temperature unit: Select Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).

5. Liquid unit: Select Millilitres (ml) or Tablespoons (tbsp).

6. Weight unit: Select Kilogrammes (kg) or Pounds (lbs).

7. Auto dose system (ADS): Choose to turn the ADS on or off.

8. Wi-Fi settings: Choose to turn the Wi-Fi connection on or off.

Press the final OK button to confirm and complete the initial setup.

1. Turn on the water tap and let the water run for a minute or so.

2. Fill a glass with cold water.

3. Remove the test strip from its packaging.

4. Dip the test strip in the water for about one second.

5. Wait one minute. Now compare the colours of the squares on the strip with the water hardness table in the manual to determine your water hardness.

To connect your smart device, you need a home Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz supported) and the ConnectLife app.

1. Download the ConnectLife app from your app store.

2. Install the app and create an account.

3. In the app, go to the »Add device« menu and select the appropriate device type. Scan the QR code found on the rating plate of the appliance (you can also enter the AUID/SN number manually).

4. The application will then guide you through the process of connecting the appliance to your smart device.

To enable Wi-Fi on the washing machine itself:

1. Turn on the appliance. In the main menu, go to “Additional service settings”.

2. Select “Wi-Fi settings”.

3. Make sure the Wi-Fi setting is switched On.

4. Select “Connection setup” and follow the instructions in the app.

In the main menu of the washing machine, select “Remote start”. To activate, press the Start/Pause button (the door must be closed). The appliance is now ready for remote control through the ConnectLife app. Remote start will remain active for the next 24 hours unless cancelled.

Adding another user:

1. On the washing machine, go to “Additional service settings” -> “Wi-Fi settings”.

2. Select “Add device (Pair device)”.

3. On the new user’s smart device, open the ConnectLife app, go to the “Add device” menu, and follow the instructions.

4. On the appliance, press “Next”. A 3-minute countdown will begin, during which you must connect the app to the appliance.

Removing users:

1. On the washing machine, go to “Additional service settings” -> “Wi-Fi settings”.

2. Select “Unpair device” and press OK.

This action will remove all active users. To operate the appliance remotely again, you will need to repeat the process of adding a user.

The Auto Dose System (ADS) allows the machine to automatically dispense liquid detergent and softener.

1. Choosing Settings for ADS:

• Access ADS settings via Program settings -> Dose modes setting -> Settings.

• Turn on ADS.

• Choose the tank for dispensing: Tank A is for liquid detergent. Tank B can be for liquid detergent for different laundry types, softener, or other rinse aids.

• Set the laundry dirt level (Lightly, Normally, Heavily soiled).

• Set the amount (concentration) of liquid detergent for each tank (from 10 ml to 100 ml) based on manufacturer recommendations for a 4-6 kg load, medium water hardness, and medium soiling.

2. Filling the Tank for ADS:

• Pull out the dosing container.

• Open the lid of ADS tank A and pour liquid detergent up to the »MAX« mark.

• Open the lid of ADS tank B and pour liquid detergent or softener up to the »MAX« mark.

• Close the detergent container.

3. Switching Off Auto Dose:

• In the dose modes menu, enter Settings ADS and switch it off. When ADS is off, you must add detergent to the manual detergent compartment.

• Sort Laundry: Sort your laundry by how soiled it is, colour, material, and permissible washing temperature.

• Check Garments: Before washing, carefully remove any solid objects from textiles and pockets (e.g., screws, clips, coins, stones) to prevent damage to the appliance or clogging the pump filter.

• Empty Pockets: Empty all pockets. Coins, nails, etc., can damage the machine and fabric.

• Fasten and Secure: Close buttons and zippers, tie any ribbons, and turn pockets inside out. Remove metal clips that could damage the laundry or clog the drain.

• Protect Delicates: Turn delicate items inside out. Place very sensitive clothes and small items in a special-purpose laundry washing bag.

STEP 1: Sort the laundry.
Sort laundry according to fabric, colour, and soil level.

STEP 2: Turn on the main switch.
Press the on/off button.

STEP 3: Open the washing machine door and insert the laundry.
Pull the handle to open the door. Place laundry in the drum, but do not overload it.

STEP 4: Add the detergent and the softener.
Add powder or liquid detergent to the appropriate compartment, or use the ADS system. Add softener to the compartment with the flower symbol.

STEP 5: Choose the program.
Rotate the selector knob or touch the screen to choose a washing program suitable for your laundry type.

STEP 6: Choosing the program settings.
Adjust settings like temperature, spin speed, dose mode, or select additional functions like Prewash or Super rinse.

STEP 7: Start the wash.
Close the door and press the Start/Pause button.

STEP 8: End of program.
When the wash is finished, the display will indicate completion. You can now open the door and remove the laundry. Close the water tap and unplug the machine.

FL: Full Load, HL: Half Load

• To pause the programme: Briefly press the Start/Pause button.

• To resume the programme: Press the Start/Pause button again.

• To stop (cancel) the washing programme: Press and hold the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds. The program will be cancelled, and water will be pumped out if necessary. You can then select a new program.

• To change a programme: You must first stop the current programme by pressing and holding the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds. Then, use the program selector knob to choose a new program and press Start/Pause.

• To add or remove laundry: Pause the program. Select “Add clothes”. The door may be opened once the water is pumped from the machine (but not completely). Add or remove laundry, close the door, and press Start/Pause to resume.

Cleaning the auto dose system is very important for correct operation. Clean the empty container regularly, at least once a month or with every other filling.

1. On the right side of the lower part of the dosing container, press the release mechanism and completely remove the container from its housing.

2. On the underside of the container, push into the opening of the left and right ADS compartment to remove the tank from the container.

3. Remove the tank cover using the tab on the rear side.

4. Rinse the tank thoroughly under water, using a brush if necessary. Also open and clean the tank cap.

5. Clean the interior of the main dosing container.

6. Reinstall the tank into the housing of the dosing container.

7. Use a brush to clean the nozzles on the upper side of the detergent compartment housing, and also clean the lower part.

8. Put the dosing container back into its housing and close it.

The dosing container can be washed in a dishwasher (max 55°C), but you must remove any residues of detergent or softener first.

The pump filter should be cleaned regularly, about once a month.

1. Before cleaning, drain the water from the machine using the Drain program. Disconnect the machine from the power mains.

2. Open the pump filter cover using an appropriate tool (the door opening tool is on the front right side of the dosing container).

3. Release the water drain hose from its holder.

4. Place a large shallow container under the hose, open the cap on the hose, and let all the water drain out.

5. Gradually rotate the filter counter-clockwise and pull it out.

6. Clean the filter thoroughly under running water.

7. Remove any objects and impurities from the filter housing and the impeller.

8. Replace the filter as shown and fasten it by rotating it clockwise. For a good seal, the filter seal surface must be clean.

9. Reattach the drain hose and close the lid.

Exterior Cleaning:

Clean the appliance exterior and the display using a soft, damp cotton cloth and water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Do not clean the machine with a jet of water.

Interior Cleaning (Against Odours):

To prevent bad odours from accumulating, run the Drum Cleaning program once a month. Use a small amount of powder detergent and run the cycle without any laundry. After every wash, wipe the rubber door gasket and remove any objects that may be stuck in it.

If you have hard water:

To remove limescale, pour alcohol vinegar (approx. 2 dl) or sodium bicarbonate (1 tablespoon or 15 g) into the drum and select a program that reaches 90°C or the Drum Cleaning program.

There could be several reasons why the door won’t open:

• Water level is too high: Run the Drain or Spinning program to remove the water.

• Water temperature is too high: The door will not open for safety. Wait for the water temperature to drop. If you still cannot open the door, you can use the manual emergency door opening procedure.

• Door is not properly closed: The washing program will not start. Firmly press on the washing machine door until you hear two clicks.

Manual Door Opening:

The door can be opened manually if the appliance is not connected to power and the water has been pumped out.

1. Drain the water from the machine, either by running a Drain program or manually via the drain hose.

2. Make sure the main power switch is off and the plug is disconnected.

3. Use the emergency door opening tool (or a similar tool like a screwdriver) to engage the manual release mechanism, as shown in the manual’s diagram.

Error codes indicate a specific issue with the appliance. Here are some common codes and what to do:

• E2 (Door lock error): Make sure the door is closed. Unplug the power cord, then plug it back in and switch on the machine. If the error reoccurs, call a service technician.

• E3 (Water filling error): Check that the water inlet valve is open, the filter on the inlet hose is clean, the hose is not kinked, and water pressure is adequate (0.1-1 MPa). Press OK to resume. If the error persists, call a service technician.

• E6 (Water heating error): Restart the program. If the error reoccurs, call a service technician.

• E7 (Water draining error): Check that the pump filter is clean, the drain hose is not clogged, and the drain hose is at the proper height. If you used too much detergent, excess foam may be the issue. Press Exit to try again. If the error persists, call a service technician.

• E9 / E9.1 (Water leak detected): Turn off the machine and turn it back on. Inspect the exterior for leaks. If none are visible, you can continue. If leaks are present, close the water valve and call a service center.

• E13 (Unevenly distributed laundry): An imbalance was detected. Manually redistribute the tangled laundry and repeat the washing program. If the error reoccurs, call a service center.

For any persistent error, switch off the appliance, wait at least 1 minute, switch it on again, and repeat the program. If the error persists, call an authorized service center.

The program duration can be extended for several reasons:

• Low inlet water temperature: The machine needs more time to heat the water, which can extend the program by up to 60%.

• Unbalance system engaged: If the laundry is unevenly distributed, the machine makes several attempts to redistribute it, extending the program time.

• Low mains voltage or power supply failure: The machine needs more time to complete its cycles.

• Feet not adjusted correctly: The machine is not level. Level the feet and ensure the lock nuts are securely tightened.

• Transport bolts not removed: If the machine is new, ensure the transport bolts have been removed from the back.

• Unevenly distributed laundry: The load is unbalanced. The machine will try to decrease the spin speed. You may need to stop the machine, redistribute the laundry, and restart the program.

• Noisy drain pump: The drain pump filter or housing may be clogged. Check and clean them.
