Please follow these safety instructions when using your AIWA KBTUS-700:

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. The wide blade is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

The AIWA KBTUS-700 has a built-in rechargeable battery.

WARNING: The battery (battery or batteries or battery pack) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. The battery must be replaced at a service center.

The remote control for the AIWA KBTUS-700 has the following functions:

1. MUTE: Mute or restore volume.

2. STANDBY: Power On/Off.

3. REC: Recording.

4. MODE: Press to switch between BT/USB/Micro SD/FM/AUX IN.

5. REPEAT: Repeat one/repeat all songs.

6. EQ: Press to choose between POP/ROCK/JAZZ/CLASSIC/FLAT.

7. Numeric keys 0-9: Choose song from USB/Micro SD.

8. PLAY/PAUSE/PREVIOUS/NEXT: Controls for USB/Micro SD/BT mode.

To begin using your AIWA KBTUS-700, follow these steps:

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC 15V input jack on the rear panel of the speaker, and then plug the other end into an AC power source.

2. The speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery. When the battery power is low, the speaker will automatically shut down. It is recommended to charge the battery for about 4-6 hours before you start using the speaker for the first time.

3. The charging indicator will light up in red while charging and will turn green when the unit is fully charged.

4. For maximum battery life, do not charge for more than 8 hours.

5. The AIWA KBTUS-700 can be operated while connected to the AC power adapter.

Note: Please fully charge the speaker if it is not going to be used for a long period of time. Unplug the charging cable once it is fully charged.

The AIWA KBTUS-700 has the following general functions:

Power On/Off: Turn the POWER ON/OFF button on the top panel to ON or OFF to switch the unit on or off.

Master Volume Control: Turn the MASTER VOLUME knob to adjust the volume.

Treble and Bass adjustment: Turn the TREBLE and BASS knobs to adjust the treble and bass levels.

To connect a Bluetooth-enabled device to your AIWA KBTUS-700, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

2. The LED display will show “bLUE” and flash.

3. On your Bluetooth device (such as a smartphone), turn on Bluetooth and start searching for devices.

4. Select “AIWA KBTUS-700” from the list of found devices.

5. If required, enter the password “0000”.

6. Once successfully paired, you will hear a tone and the “bLUE” display will stop flashing.

7. You can now play music from your Bluetooth device. Use the volume control on your device or the speaker to adjust the sound level.

Note: You can use the Play/Pause, Previous, and Next track buttons on the speaker’s top panel to control the music playback on your connected device.

To use the TWS function, you need two AIWA KBTUS-700 speakers. Follow these steps:

1. Turn on both speakers. Make sure they are in Bluetooth mode. The display should show “bLUE”.

2. Press and hold the “Play/Pause” button on one of the speakers (this will be the master speaker) for 3 seconds. You will hear a beep, and the display will show “HOST”. This indicates successful TWS pairing.

3. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device, search for “AIWA KBTUS-700”, and connect.

4. Music will now play from both speakers simultaneously.

5. To disconnect TWS, press and hold the “Play/Pause” button on the master speaker for 3 seconds.

To play music from a storage device on your AIWA KBTUS-700:

1. Turn on the speaker.

2. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a MicroSD card into the MicroSD card slot.

3. The speaker will automatically switch to the correct mode and start playing the music from the inserted device.

4. The display will show the elapsed time of the track.

5. To control playback:

– Press PLAY/PAUSE to play or pause the music.

– Press the PREVIOUS or NEXT button to go to the previous or next song.

Note: The AIWA KBTUS-700 supports MP3 format and can handle devices up to 32 GB.

To listen to the FM radio on your AIWA KBTUS-700:

1. Turn on the speaker.

2. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the display shows the FM frequency.

3. To automatically scan for and save available FM stations, press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The speaker will scan the entire frequency range and store the stations it finds.

4. Once the scan is complete, you can switch between the saved stations by pressing the PREVIOUS or NEXT buttons.

You can connect an external audio player to the AIWA KBTUS-700 by following these steps:

1. Use a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

2. Plug one end of the cable into the headphone or audio line-out jack of your external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player).

3. Plug the other end of the cable into the AUX IN jack on the top panel of the speaker.

4. Turn on the speaker and press the MODE button to switch to AUX IN mode.

5. Start playing music on your external device. The sound will play through the AIWA KBTUS-700.

Note: In AUX IN mode, the main controls (play, pause, next, previous) on the speaker will be inactive. You must control playback from your connected external device.

The AIWA KBTUS-700 comes with one wired and one wireless microphone. Here’s how to use them:

Wired Microphone:

1. Plug the wired microphone into the MIC 1 or MIC 2 input jack on the top panel.

2. Adjust the microphone volume by turning the MIC. VOL knob.

3. Adjust the echo effect by turning the MIC. ECHO knob.

Wireless Microphone:

1. Open the battery compartment of the wireless microphone and insert 2x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.

2. Switch the microphone ON. It will automatically connect with the speaker.

3. Adjust the microphone volume and echo using the corresponding knobs on the speaker.

Microphone Priority:

Press the MIC PRIORITY button to give priority to the microphone sound over the music. When you speak into the microphone, the music volume will decrease. When you stop speaking, the music volume will return to its original level.
