The AIWA CR-15 clock radio has a backup system to ensure the clock and timer settings are maintained during a power failure. This system requires 2 alkaline batteries of type LR03/AAA.

To install the batteries:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.

2. Insert two LR03/AAA batteries, ensuring you match the polarity (+/-) with the diagram inside the compartment.

3. Close the battery compartment cover.

To connect the AIWA CR-15 to the mains power, plug the power cord into the designated port on the back of the clock radio and then plug the other end into a wall outlet.

To set the clock time on your AIWA CR-15, follow these steps:

1. Press the SET button. The time display will start flashing “00:00”.

2. Press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the correct hour.

3. Press the MINUTE button repeatedly to set the correct minute.

4. Press the SET button again to confirm and save the time.

Turn the Radio On/Off:

Press the ON/OFF (power symbol) button to turn the radio on. Press it again to turn the radio off.

Change Radio Band:

While the radio is on, press the BAND button to switch between AM and FM.

Manual Tuning:

While the radio is on, press the TUNING DOWN (◀◀) or TUNING UP (▶▶) buttons to manually search for stations.

Auto Tuning (Scan):

While the radio is on, press and hold the TUNING UP (▶▶) button for 3 seconds. The radio will automatically scan and stop at the next available station.

While the radio is on, press the VOLUME UP (V∧) or VOLUME DOWN (VA) buttons to adjust the volume to your desired level.

To set and save a preset radio station on your AIWA CR-15:

1. Tune to the radio station you wish to save.

2. Press the SET button twice. A preset number (e.g., “P01”) will flash on the display.

3. Use the TUNING DOWN (◀◀) or TUNING UP (▶▶) buttons to select the preset number you want to assign to the station.

4. Press the SET button once to confirm and save the station to that preset number.

To recall a saved preset station, ensure the radio is on and then press the MEM button repeatedly. This will cycle through your saved preset stations (P01, P02, etc.).

The sleep timer allows you to listen to the radio as you fall asleep, and it will turn off automatically.

1. While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button.

2. Continue to press the SLEEP button to cycle through the available sleep durations: 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes, or OFF.

3. The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time has elapsed.

To set an alarm, the FM radio must be switched off.

1. Ensure the radio is off.

2. Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button twice. The alarm time on the display will begin to flash (e.g., “00:00”).

3. Press the HOUR button to set the alarm hour.

4. Press the MINUTE button to set the alarm minute.

5. Press the SET button to confirm the alarm time.

6. After confirming the time, press the corresponding ALARM button (ALARM 1 or ALARM 2) repeatedly to select the alarm mode: Buzzer, Radio, or OFF.

When the alarm is sounding, press the ON/OFF (power symbol) button to turn it off completely for that day. The alarm will automatically stop after one hour if no button is pressed.

When the alarm is sounding, you can press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence it. The alarm will stop and then sound again after 9 minutes.

To check a set alarm time when the radio is in normal clock mode, press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button twice. The corresponding alarm time will be displayed for a few seconds.
