Please adhere to the following safety instructions when using your ZELMER ZVC021P:

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.

• This appliance is intended for use at a maximum altitude of 2000m above sea level.

• Before plugging in the ZELMER ZVC021P, check that your mains voltage is the same as the one indicated on the product label.

• The mains connection cable must not be tangled or wrapped around the product during use. Do not pull on the connection cord to unplug it.

• Do not use, connect or disconnect the device to the mains with your hands or feet wet.

• In order to prevent any risk of danger, do not open the device. Only qualified technical personnel may carry out repairs.

• This appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use. Incorrect use or improper handling shall render the warranty null and void.

• Do not use the appliance to vacuum liquids (water, etc), sharp objects (pins, nails, glass, etc), or incandescent objects (matches, cigarettes).

• Never use the turbobrush to: Polish floors, suck liquids, wet or damp dust, hot ash, burning objects, sharp and hard items (razors, pins, thumbtacks, pieces of glass, etc), flour, cement, plaster, printer or photocopier toner, etc.

1. Insert the suction hose into the suction hose port. It must audibly lock into place. To remove the hose, push the two catches on the side of the suction hose and, at the same time, pull it out of the suction hose port.

2. Insert the telescopic extension tube into the handle. For better seating, gently turn the tube back and forth in the process. To remove it later, simply pull it off the handle.

3. Push the telescopic tube lock towards the arrow. Hold the slide lock in position and pull the telescopic tube to the desired length. Let go of the slide lock so that the telescopic tube lock can engage.

4. Select a suitable nozzle for your cleaning task.

Floor Nozzle: The universal floor nozzle is suitable for both carpets and smooth floors. Use the foot switch to switch between carpet and smooth floor settings. A brush on the bottom side is deployed for smooth floors.

2in1 Crevice Nozzle: Flip the end piece towards the arrow to change the tile nozzle into a brush nozzle.

• The tile nozzle is suitable for cushions, cleaning the inside of passenger vehicles, and nooks and crannies that can’t be reached with other nozzles.

• The brush nozzle is suitable for all uneven objects, furniture, lamps, profiling strips, baseboards, and window sills.

Upholstery Nozzle: This nozzle is suitable for cleaning cushions of all kinds, such as sofas and car seats.

Accessories Holder: The accessories holder can be mounted on the telescoping tube. You can store the 2in1 crevice nozzle and upholstery nozzle by clipping them into the holder.

1. Before first use, roll out a sufficient length of the electric flex cable and plug it into the mains socket. The yellow mark on the cable indicates the maximum length that must not be exceeded.

2. To switch on the device, press the foot pedal ON/OFF button on the casing with your foot.

3. To rewind the power cable, press the cord rewinder button with one hand and guide the cable with the other hand to ensure it does not whip and cause damage.

Empty the dust container when the sucked-in dirt reaches the “MAX” mark or when the suction power has dropped. Follow these steps:

1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the plug from the mains. Always pull on the plug, not the cable.

2. Release the dust container by pressing the release button.

3. Lift the dust container out of the vacuum cleaner.

4. When emptying the dust container, hold it low over a dustbin.

5. Pull the lock on the cover of the dust container. Open the dust container cover and empty the dust into the dustbin.

6. Close the dust container cover.

7. Place the dust container onto the cylinder vacuum cleaner.

8. Check whether the dust container is securely seated.

1. Turn off and unplug the cleaner.

2. Remove the dust container and take the filter out.

3. Hold the protective motor filter over a dustbin. For a rough clean, gently knock it over the dustbin.

4. Insert the dry protective motor filter back into its holder.

5. Place the dust container onto the cylinder vacuum cleaner.

6. Check whether the dust container is securely seated.

IMPORTANT! Never use the vacuum cleaner without a motor filter.

The exhaust air filter cleans the air a final time before it leaves the vacuum cleaner. To clean it, follow these steps:

1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the plug from the mains. Always pull on the plug, not on the cable.

2. Open the exhaust filter cover.

3. Rinse the HEPA filter under cold running water and allow it to dry.

4. Put the exhaust air filter back into place.

5. Close the exhaust filter cover.

1. You can lift and carry the vacuum cleaner using the carrying handle. Never pull or lift the vacuum cleaner by the cord.

2. Before putting the vacuum away, rewind the cord. Switch off the socket, unplug, and press the cord rewind button until the cord is fully rewound.

3. To save space, the vacuum can be stored upright on its end cover. The telescopic tube can be hung on the vacuum cleaner by inserting the parking fixture into the vertical parking holder.

Clean the ZELMER ZVC021P vacuum cleaner by wiping it with a damp cloth. You must not use any form of strong, solvent or abrasive cleaning agent.
