Before using your ZELMER ZHM1651 for the first time, follow these steps:

1. Unpack the appliance.

2. Check that the power supply parameters of the appliance correspond to the parameters of the local mains.

3. Before operating the appliance for the first time, clean it and its accessories as described in the Maintenance and Cleaning section of the instruction manual.

4. Before assembling the appliance, make sure that the mixer is disconnected from the mains and the speed controller is set to “0”.

Attention! During the initial period of use, the mixer may give off an unpleasant odour. This smell will fade after a fairly long period of use.

To operate the ZELMER ZHM1651, please follow these instructions:

1. Make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power source. Put ingredients into a bowl.

2. Select the desired attachments and insert them into the mixer sockets. One set of attachments is suitable for kneading dough, and the other is used for beating eggs or similar products.

3. Plug the appliance into the mains and select your desired speed using the speed controller.

4. For best results when mixing batter for yeast-raised cakes, it is recommended that you start mixing at a low speed, then increase it to the maximum speed at the end of the process.

5. After you have finished using the appliance, set the speed controller to “0” and disconnect the appliance from the mains.

6. To remove the attachments, while holding them with one hand, press the “EJECT” button with the other hand.

Important Operational Notes:

• Do not put any forks, knives, or spoons into the bowl during mixer operation.

• The maximum continuous operation time must not exceed 4 minutes. If you need to use the mixer for a longer time, wait until the appliance cools down to room temperature, which takes about 30 minutes.

• Do not operate the appliance with more than 875g of flour and 630g of water.

Follow these steps for proper maintenance and cleaning of your ZELMER ZHM1651:

• Use a dry dishcloth to wipe the product body. It is strictly prohibited to let the main unit rinse with water or be immersed in water.

• Do not use a metal brush, nylon brush, household cleanser, diluent, or other similar cleaning supplies to clean this product, as they may damage the product’s surface structure.

• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe any dirt off the power cord.

• Wash attachments with warm water and some dishwashing liquid, then rinse them and wipe dry. The bowl can be washed in a dishwasher.

• If any residues cannot be removed easily from the attachments, use a wooden or plastic tool.
