The ZELMER ZAF2500 Air Fryer consists of the following components:

1. Heating indicator light (red light)

2. Power indicator light (green light)

3. Timer dial (0-30 minutes)

4. Temperature dial (80°C – 200°C)

5. Fryer board

6. Basket

7. Basket handle

If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

Keep the appliance and its supply cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Disconnect the appliance when it is not in use and before cleaning it. Let it cool before removing parts and cleaning it.

Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid.

This appliance is intended for use at a maximum altitude of 2000m above sea level.

NOTE: Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid danger keep plastic bags away from babies and children. Do not let children play with packaging materials. Danger of suffocation!

When using the ZELMER ZAF2500 Air Fryer, the following safety precautions should always be followed:

1. Keep the box and packing material for storage.

2. Do not immerse the supply cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or any other liquids to avoid electric shock or damage to the air fryer.

3. Keep all the food in the basket to prevent any contact with heating elements.

4. Do not cover the air inlet and air outlet when the appliance is operating.

5. Do not fill the pan with oil. Filling the pan with oil may cause a fire hazard.

6. Do not touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.

7. Do not use the appliance if there is any damage to the plug, supply cord or other parts.

8. Do not allow any unauthorized person to replace or fix the appliance.

9. Keep the supply cord away from hot surfaces.

10. Do not plug in or use the appliance with wet hands.

11. Make sure that the appliance is plugged into the wall socket properly.

12. Keep the supply cord and the appliance out of the reach of children.

13. Do not connect the appliance to an external timer switch.

14. Do not place the appliance on or near combustible materials, such as a tablecloth or curtain.

15. Do not place the appliance against a wall or any other appliances while in operation. Leave at least 15cm of free space on the back, sides, and above the appliance to keep air inlet/outlet clear.

16. Do not place anything on top of the appliance during operation.

17. Do not use the appliance for any other purposes than described in this instruction for use.

18. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.

19. During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings. Be careful of hot steam and air when you remove the pan from the appliance. Any accessible surfaces may become hot during use.

20. Immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke coming out of the appliance. Wait for the smoke emission to stop before you remove the pan from the appliance.

21. Ensure that the appliance is placed on a horizontal, even, and stable surface.

22. This appliance is designed for household use only. It is not safe to use in environments, such as staff kitchens, farms, motels, and other non-residential environments.

23. Always wait 30 minutes for the appliance to cool down before handling or cleaning it.

Before using the ZELMER ZAF2500 Air Fryer for the first time, remove all packing materials and stickers from the inside and outside of the Air Fryer. Gently wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth or paper towel.

WARNING: Never immerse the Air Fryer or its plug in water or any other liquids.

1. Plug in the supply cord: The ZELMER ZAF2500 air fryer is now in standby mode.

2. Timer: The timer ranges from 1 minute to 30 minutes. Turn the TIMER knob to decrease or increase the time.

3. Temperature: The temperature ranges from 80°C to 200°C. Turn the TEMPERATURE button to decrease or increase the temperature.

4. Power indicator: While the air fryer is in operation, the power indicator keeps lighting.

5. Heating indicator: After the set temperature is attained, the air fryer will continue heating intermittently. While the air fryer is heating, the heating indicator keeps lighting.

6. AUTO-CUT OFF: During the cooking process, the basket can be taken out. When the basket is taken out, power is automatically cut off. After the basket is placed back, the air fryer resumes to work.

1. Place the ZELMER ZAF2500 air fryer on a flat and stable surface. DO NOT PLACE THE AIR FRYER ON A SURFACE THAT IS NOT HEAT RESISTANT.

2. Place the fryer board onto the basket.

3. DO NOT FILL THE PAN WITH OIL OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

4. Place the food into the basket, and put the basket into the main body. The air fryer LED should light up after the time has been set.

5. Set your cooking time and temperature with the relevant knobs.

NOTE: When setting the time manually, always add an extra minute or two to the cooking time to allow the air fryer to warm-up.

Some food may need to be shaken halfway through the cooking cycle. To do this, take the basket out of the main body by the handle. The air fryer will automatically shut down. Then shake the basket or turn the food upside down. After that, put the basket back into the air fryer and it will resume the cooking cycle.

When the cooking time has been reached, the air blower will run for a few seconds to cool down the air fryer.

Pull the basket out of the fryer and place it on a pot holder. NOTE: Oil from the food will gather in the bottom of the basket, so be careful when pulling the basket out of the fryer.

Check if the food is ready. If it is not, simply slide the basket back into the air fryer, set your cooking time and temperature to cook.

Do not turn the basket over, the oil collected at the bottom of the basket will leak onto the food.

You can use a pair of tongs to transfer large or fragile food from the basket.

If you would like to prepare more food, you can instantly use the air fryer once another batch of food is ready.

Yes, here are some tips for using your ZELMER ZAF2500 Air Fryer:

• Small ingredients usually need a shorter cooking time than larger ingredients.

• Shaking smaller ingredients halfway during the cooking time gives you a better end result.

• Adding a very little amount of oil to fresh potatoes will give a crispy result.

• Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients, such as sausages in the air fryer.

• The recommended amount of cut potatoes to prepare crispy fries is 350 grams.

• Pre-made dough requires shorter cooking time than home-made dough.

Please keep in mind that because ingredients differ in size, shape, brand, and origin, we cannot guarantee that this is the best setting for the ingredients you have. Rapid Air Fryer Technology reheats the air inside the air fryer instantly, so pulling the basket out of the air fryer for a brief period of time will not interrupt the cooking process.

Clean the ZELMER ZAF2500 air fryer after every use. Unplug the fryer. ALWAYS WAIT AT LEAST 30 MINUTES FOR THE AIR FRYER TO COOL DOWN BEFORE CLEANING IT.

NOTE: Do not clean the basket, fryer board, and inside of the appliance with any metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials because this may damage the non-stick coating.

• Wipe the outside of the air fryer with a moist cloth.

• Clean the basket with hot water, soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. You can remove any remaining food debris by using degreasing liquid soap.

• Tip: If there is food debris stuck to the basket or bottom of the basket, soak the basket in hot water and soap for about 10 minutes.

• Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.

NOTE: Be sure not to introduce too much water inside the appliance. You just need to wipe it down to get rid of any food debris and grease.

• Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food debris.

	The set temperature is too low.	Increase the temperature by using the temperature dial.
The ingredients are fried unevenly	Certain types of ingredients need to be shaken halfway through the cooking time.	Ingredients that lie on top of or across each other, for example fries, need to be shaken halfway through the cooking time.
Fried snacks are not crispy when they come out of the air fryer.	The type of snack used was meant to be prepared in a traditional deep fryer.	Use oven for such snacks or lightly brush some oil onto the snacks for a crispier result.
I cannot slide the basket into the appliance properly	The basket is too full.	Do not fill the basket beyond the “MAX” indication.
White smoke is coming out of the air fryer	You are preparing greasy ingredients.	When greasy ingredients are fried in the air fryer, a large amount of oil will leak into the basket, the oil produces white smoke and the basket may heat up more than usual. This does not affect the air fryer or end result.
	The basket still contains grease residues from previous use.	White smoke is caused by grease heating up in the basket. Make sure you clean the basket properly after each use.
French fries are fried unevenly in the air fryer	Wrong type of potato was used.	Use fresh potatoes and make sure that they stay firm during the frying.
	Potato sticks were not rinsed properly.	Rinse the potato sticks properly to remove starch from the outside of the sticks.
French Fries are not crispy when they come out of the air fryer.	The crispiness of the fries depends on the amount of oil and water in the fries.	Make sure to dry the potato sticks before adding the oil.
		Cut the potato sticks smaller for a crispier result.
		Add slightly more oil for a crispier result.
