What safety warnings should I be aware of before installing the V-TAC VT-4456?
Please adhere to the following safety warnings:
• Please make sure to turn off the power before starting the installation.
• Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.
• If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Replace any cracked protective shield.
• Proper grounding should be ensured throughout the installation.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter from lighted objects.
• The product is for outdoor use.
How do I install the V-TAC VT-4456 LED Flood Light?
Please follow these instructions for installation:
1. Ensure electricity is switched off before installation. Do not install in areas with limited ventilation, outside the rated ambient temperature range, or on a surface prone to vibrations.
2. Remove the screw and the bracket from the flood light.
3. Before drilling, mark the hole position for fixing the bracket onto the wall (screws are not supplied).
4. Screw the retaining bracket to the wall with a suitable quantity of screws.
5. Mount the bracket back to the fixture. Adjust the floodlight according to the desired position and tighten the screw.
6. Connect your main cable (H05RN F3G1.0mm2 is recommended) with the input lead of our product through a waterproof junction box (IP65 or above). Ensure the waterproof screw is tightened.
7. Switch on the power to make sure the product is working.
Are there any special considerations for wiring the V-TAC VT-4456?
Yes, please note the following:
• To reduce the risk of strangulation, the flexible wiring connected to this luminaire shall be effectively fixed to the wall if the wiring is within arm’s reach.
• In order to maintain the IP protection of the product, the cable entry/gland should be installed on the bottom side.
• The wire length for the 50W model is 150mm.
• The wiring connections are: Blue wire to N, Yellow/Green wire to Ground, and Brown wire to L.
• A terminal block is not included.
Can the light source in the V-TAC VT-4456 be replaced?
The light source contained in this luminaire is a replaceable (LED only) light source that shall only be replaced by the manufacturer, his service agent, or a similar qualified professional. Note that light source removal will void the warranty.
