SOLAX POWER X3-EPS BOX (01) PDF MANUAL

Before installation, make sure that nothing inside the package is damaged. The following items should be inside the package:

Before you start, get the following tools ready:

• Diagonal plier
• Philips screwdriver
• Φ6 driller
• Crimping plier
• Marker pen
• Slotted screwdriver
• Manual wrench
• Rubber hammer

Step 1: Make sure the installation site does not expose the device to direct sunlight. Then install the four cushion blocks on the X3-EPS BOX with flat head screws.

Step 2: Use the X3-EPS BOX with cushion blocks as a template to mark the four holes’ position on the wall with a marker pen.

Step 3: Drill holes with a Φ6 driller carefully. Make sure the holes are deep enough for installing (at least 50mm). Put the expansion tubes into the wall, then insert the self-tapping screws through the cushion blocks into the expansion tubes. Screw and tighten the screws.

Step 4: Install the expansion screws with a screwdriver to fix the X3-EPS BOX to the wall.

1. Prepare the necessary wires. You will need:

– L wire (6 AWG) x9 pcs

– N wire (6 AWG) x3 pcs

– GND wire for EU x1 pcs

– N wire for AU x1 pcs

2. Use a diagonal plier to strip 15mm of insulation from the side of each wire.

3. Insert the wire into the cable gland, then insert the end of the wire into a cold pressed terminal and tighten it.

Note: If AWG-10 wires are used, please pass the wires through the silicone sleeves to avoid leakage at the insertions.

1. Use the manual wrench to screw off the cap on the cable nut for the MAIN GRID PORT.

2. Insert Grid-L wires and Grid-N wires into the ports (L1, L2, L3, L4) of contactor A.

3. Pass the wires through the cable nut and tighten them with a screwdriver.

Note: Please prevent other wires from getting loose during operation.

1. Screw off the cap on the cable nut for the INVERTER EPS PORT.

2. Insert EPS-L wires and EPS-N wires into the ports (L1, L2, L3, L4) of contactor B.

3. Pass the wires through the cable nut and tighten them with a screwdriver.

1. Screw off the cap on the cable nut for the LOAD PORT.

2. Insert Load-L wires and Load-N wires into the ports (T1, T2, T3, T4) of contactor C.

3. Pass the wires through the cable nut and tighten them with a screwdriver.

For EU users: please insert the GND wire into the port of contactor B (port L4) through the cable nut and tighten it with a screwdriver.

For AU users: please insert the N wire into the ports of contactor A (port L4) and contactor B (port L4).

Please make sure all wires are tightened. Check the wire connection in the X3-EPS BOX.

* The output current will be reduced when the operating temperature exceeds 40°C. At 50°C, the output current drops to 95%. At 60°C, it drops to 80%.
