How do I pause and resume cooking?
To pause the cooking session, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button.
To resume cooking, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button again.
This feature is useful for turning or shaking ingredients to ensure even cooking.
How does the preheating function work?
Some menu presets require preheating for the best results. If preheating is required, the display screen will show ‘PRE HEAT’ once the cooking session begins. This indicates that the unit is heating up.
Do not add ingredients until preheating is complete.
How do I turn the internal light on or off?
Press the ‘Light’ button to turn the internal light on/off.
How should I clean and care for the Air Fryer Oven?
The unit should be cleaned after each use to ensure safety and optimal performance. Any cleaning or maintenance should only be performed under the following conditions:
The unit has completely cooled after use.
All accessories have completely cooled after use.
The unit is unplugged from the power outlet.
Everyday Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the accessories and interior surfaces: Remove any loose crumbs, grease, or fat left over from cooking. Wash accessories with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow them to dry completely before reinstalling.
Note: This is essential for safe operation and significantly reduces the risk of fire.
Remove food splatter: Wipe away any food residue inside the oven using a damp cloth or sponge. Allow the interior to dry completely before use.
Clean the exterior: Wipe the outside of the Air Fryer Oven with a damp, lint-free cloth. Allow it to dry completely.
How should I store the Air Fryer Oven?
The Air Fryer Oven should be stored with the accessories installed.
Store in a dry, cool location, away from direct sunlight.
Ensure the internal drawers and lower racks are completely dry before storing.
Why won’t the unit switch on?
Ensure the power plug is connected to an electrical outlet and switched on.
Press the ‘Power’ button on the control panel.
Ensure that the door is fully closed before cooking.
Check your home’s circuit breaker.
Do I need to adjust the temperature and time settings when using recipes designed for a traditional oven?
Food cooks faster using the Air Frying function compared to a traditional oven. When following recipes designed for traditional ovens, reduce the cooking time by up to 30% and lower the temperature by approximately 8–10%. These are approximations and should be monitored and adjusted based on individual recipes.
Why is my food unevenly cooked?
The Air Fryer Oven may be overloaded with too many ingredients.
The ingredients were not shaken or turned during cooking.
Separate ingredients that require different settings to ensure optimal cooking for each type.
Why are my chips made from fresh potatoes not crispy?
Cut the potatoes into thinner pieces.
Dab the potato pieces dry with a kitchen towel before cooking.
Drizzle a small amount of cooking oil over them for better crispiness.
Why does an unpleasant smell or smoke emerge from the unit during use?
The internal surfaces or accessories may be dirty. Clean them thoroughly, rinse, and dry completely before reinstalling.
During the first use, some smoke or odour is normal as excess oil from the manufacturing process burns off. This is not a cause for concern. Using the Defrost setting initially can help minimize this occurrence.
