• Do not expose this product to high temperatures or humid environments. Avoid using it in the rain or subjecting it to strong impacts.

• To reduce the risk of electric shock or fire, do not remove the cabinet cover. In the event of a malfunction, do not attempt to repair the product yourself.

• If any liquid or foreign object enters the device, immediately disconnect the power. Use the product only after it has been inspected by a qualified technician.

• Do not install the unit in or near areas exposed to rain, moisture, or other liquids.

The KOGAN KASBD225HAB comes with the following components:

• Soundbar

• Subwoofer

• Wall-mounting kit (Wall anchor x2, Screw x2)

• 3.5mm audio cable

• Soundbar power cord

• Remote control

• User guide

The side control panel has the following functions:

1. Power Button: Turns the soundbar on or off.

2. Volume Down/Previous Track: Decreases the volume or skips to the previous track.

3. Volume Up/Next Track: Increases the volume or skips to the next track.

4. Input Mode Selection: Cycles through the available input modes.

The wireless subwoofer features the following components:

1. Pairing Indicator: Shows the connection status with the soundbar.

2. Power Switch: Turns the subwoofer on or off.

3. Power Cord (Attached): Connects the subwoofer to an electrical outlet.

Note: Wall mounting must be performed by a qualified trade professional.

1. Insert the provided wall anchors into the wall at the desired mounting locations.

2. Fasten the provided screws into the wall anchors, leaving a small gap between the screw head and the wall.

3. Carefully hang the soundbar onto the screws using the keyhole slots on the rear of the soundbar.

Powering the Soundbar:

1. Connect one end of the provided power cord to the AC In port on the soundbar and the other end to an electrical outlet.

2. Place the Soundbar ‘Power’ switch in the ‘On’ position.

3. Press the ‘Power’ button on the Remote Control or Soundbar to turn the Soundbar on or off.

Powering the Subwoofer:

1. The Subwoofer has a power cord pre-attached. Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet.

2. Place the Subwoofer ‘Power’ switch in the ‘On’ position.

The Soundbar and Subwoofer are pre-paired at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, follow the steps below to manually pair them:

1. Power on the Soundbar and Subwoofer. The ‘Pairing’ indicator on the Subwoofer will flash continuously.

2. Switch the soundbar to BT mode. Note: At this stage, do not connect any external devices (such as a mobile phone or tablet) to the soundbar.

3. Press and hold the ‘Play/Pause’ button on the Remote Control for more than 3 seconds. The Display Screen will show ‘PAIR’.

4. Once connected successfully, the soundbar will play a voice prompt, and the ‘Pairing’ indicator will remain solid. The initial connection process may take around 10 seconds.

1. Connect an HDMI ARC-compatible device to the HDMI (ARC) port on the Soundbar using an HDMI cable (not provided).

2. Select HDMI (ARC) mode by either pressing the ‘HDMI (ARC)’ button on the Remote Control, or repeatedly pressing the ‘MODE’ button on the Soundbar until ‘ARC’ appears on the Display Screen.

3. Ensure ‘HDMI ARC’ is selected as the TV’s audio output.

4. Adjust the volume using the ‘Volume Up’ and ‘Volume Down’ buttons on the Remote Control or Soundbar.

1. Connect a compatible device to the AUX input port using the provided 3.5mm audio cable.

2. Select AUX mode by either pressing the ‘AUX’ button on the Remote Control, or repeatedly pressing the ‘MODE’ button on the Soundbar until ‘AUX’ appears on the Display Screen.

3. Ensure the connected device is producing an audio signal.

4. Adjust the volume using the ‘Volume Up’ and ‘Volume Down’ buttons on the Remote Control or Soundbar.

1. Connect a compatible device to the OPTICAL input port using a digital optical cable (not provided).

2. Select OPT mode by either pressing the ‘OPT’ button on the Remote Control, or repeatedly pressing the ‘MODE’ button on the Soundbar until ‘OPT’ appears on the Display Screen.

3. Ensure ‘Optical SPDIF’ is selected as the TV’s audio output.

4. Adjust the volume using the ‘Volume Up’ and ‘Volume Down’ buttons on the Remote Control or Soundbar.

1. Connect a compatible device to the COAXIAL input port using a digital coaxial cable (not provided).

2. Select ‘COAX’ mode by repeatedly pressing the ‘MODE’ button on the Soundbar until ‘COA’ appears on the Display Screen.

3. Ensure ‘Coaxial’ is selected as the TV’s audio output.

4. Adjust the volume using the ‘Volume Up’ and ‘Volume Down’ buttons on the Remote Control or Soundbar.

1. Press the ‘BT’ button or repeatedly press the ‘MODE’ button on the Remote Control until ‘BT’ is shown on the Display Screen.

2. The Display Screen will flash to indicate Bluetooth pairing mode.

3. On your Bluetooth device, enable pairing and search for ‘KOGAN2.1H’.

4. When paired successfully, the Display Screen will stop flashing and remain solid.

5. The soundbar will automatically re-pair with this device when in range and Bluetooth is enabled.

Note:

• Press and hold the ‘BT’ button on the Remote Control to disconnect or reconnect the Bluetooth connection between the device and the soundbar.

• Pressing the ‘BT’ button switches the input to BT mode.

• This Soundbar supports USB flash drives up to 64GB in FAT32 format and is compatible with MP3 and WAV audio files.

• Insert a compatible flash drive into the USB port on the rear of the soundbar. The Soundbar will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing the first track.

• Press the ‘USB Repeat Modes’ button on the Remote Control to select one of the following modes:

• ONE: Repeat current track.

• ALL: Repeat all tracks.

• The Soundbar includes a memory function that resumes playback from the last played point when the same flash drive is reinserted.

The KOGAN KASBD225HAB soundbar features 3 EQ presets:

• EQ1: Music.

• EQ2: Movie.

• EQ3: News.

Press the ‘EQ’ button on the Remote Control to cycle through the modes.
