• Do not cover the power cord with soft materials or expose it to heat.

• Avoid touching the power cord with wet hands.

Environment & Placement:

• Do not cover the projector’s vents. Overheating can shorten its lifespan and pose a safety hazard. Regularly clean the vents to prevent dust buildup.

• Do not operate the projector in greasy, damp, dusty, or smoky environments.

• Do not use in wet or humid locations such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens, or near swimming pools.

• Avoid use in areas where condensation may occur.

• Do not place the projector on surfaces subject to vibrations or shocks.

To power on your KOGAN FREESTYLE KAPFSPB100A projector, follow these steps:

1. Connect one end of the provided power cord to the power port on the projector and the other end to an electrical outlet. The ‘Power’ indicator will illuminate.

2. Press the ‘Power’ button on the projector or the Remote Control to turn on the device.

3. Follow the startup guide on the screen to complete the initial setup, which includes connecting to a network and setting up apps.

Note: For portable use, the projector can be powered by the KAPFSBATO2A – Kogan Freestyle Projector Battery Base (sold separately).

To view content from a USB drive or HDMI device on your KOGAN FREESTYLE KAPFSPB100A projector, follow these steps:

1. Insert the USB drive into the USB port or connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the projector.

2. Press the ‘Input Source’ button on the Remote Control or select the ‘Input Source’ icon on the home page.

3. Choose the corresponding USB or HDMI icon from the menu and press the ‘OK’ button to enter that channel.

To access the main settings menu on your KOGAN FREESTYLE KAPFSPB100A projector, select ‘Settings’ on the projector’s home screen. From here, you can access various sub-menus to configure your device.

Focus Settings: Navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Focus’ to adjust the image focus manually.

About: Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘About’ to view system information such as version info, license info, and device name.

To pair a Bluetooth speaker or headphones with your KOGAN FREESTYLE KAPFSPB100A projector:

1. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Bluetooth’.

2. Turn Bluetooth on, select ‘Search for Devices’, then choose your Bluetooth speaker or headphones from the list to pair. Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.

To connect your KOGAN FREESTYLE KAPFSPB100A projector to the internet via Wi-Fi:

1. Navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Network’ > ‘Wi-Fi’.

2. Turn Wi-Fi on, select your network from the available list, and enter the password to connect.

To screen cast from your Android device to the KOGAN FREESTYLE KAPFSPB100A:

1. Ensure both your Android device and the projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. On the projector, navigate the following path: ‘Home Page’ → ‘Screencast’ → ‘Enable Miracast Service’ → ‘Enable phone mirroring’ → ‘Connect’.

3. On your Android device, find the screen mirroring/cast function and select the projector from the list of available devices.

Please note that copyrighted content from services like Hulu, Disney+, and similar streaming platforms cannot be wirelessly mirrored or screen cast due to copyright restrictions.

To screen share from your Apple device to the KOGAN FREESTYLE KAPFSPB100A:

1. Ensure both your Apple device and the projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. On the projector, follow this path: ‘Home Page’ → ‘APP Assistant’ → ‘Download Screen Share’. Follow the prompt to install the app. For the initial iOS screen mirroring setup, after downloading the ScreenShare app, you must reboot the projector for proper function. This step can be skipped on subsequent uses.

3. After setup, navigate on the projector to ‘Enable phone mirroring’ → ‘Connect’.

4. On your Apple device, open the Control Center, tap the Screen Mirroring icon, and select the projector from the list.
