What are the most important safety precautions for my JURA S80?

To ensure safe operation of your JURA S80, please follow these safety precautions:

To avoid electric shock:

• Never use a machine that is damaged or has a defective mains cable.

• In the event of damage, unplug the machine immediately from the mains supply.

• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a special mains cable available from authorized service centers.

• Ensure the machine and mains cable are not located close to hot surfaces.

• Do not let the mains cable become trapped or rub against sharp edges.

• Never open or repair the machine yourself. Repairs may only be carried out by authorized service centers using original spare parts.

• To completely disconnect from the power supply, first switch off the JURA S80 using the On/Off button, then remove the mains plug from the socket.

To avoid scalds, burns, and other injuries:

• Do not touch any hot parts. Use the handles provided.

• Be careful to ensure the milk system is correctly installed and clean.

To avoid damage to the machine:

• Never allow the mains cable to hang loosely, as it could be a tripping hazard.

• Protect the JURA S80 from environmental influences such as rain, frost, and direct sunlight.

• Do not immerse the machine, mains cable, or connections in water.

• Do not put the JURA S80 or any individual parts in the dishwasher.

• Before cleaning, switch the machine off. Always wipe it with a damp cloth, not a wet one.

• Only connect the machine to the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate.
