Elbow and flexible hose (VCP 4830 model):

The elbow and flexible hose are extension tools. One end is inserted into the suction port, and the other end is connected with the accessories to clean corners or narrow spaces.

Crevice, 2in1 Brush, and dust brush:

Push the round part of the accessory into the suction part until it clicks. The hairbrush of the 2in1 accessory can be removed.

Mini turbo brush (VCP 4830 model):

Push the end of the Mini-brush into the suction part until it clicks. Remove it by pulling the buttons.

The charging indicator on your GRUNDIG VCP 3830 displays the following statuses:

Status	Light Indicator
Working	Persistent light blue
Charging	Blinking light blue
Fully charged	Persistent light blue for 2 minutes and then goes out.
Lower power	Blinking red light

While charging the battery on the charging dock, the charge indicator flashes blue.

Please note the following for charging your GRUNDIG VCP 3830:

• Recharge and discharge the battery every 3 months when the product will not be used for a long period of time.

• Do not place the battery on the charging base for a very long time if it is still charging (blinking light blue) beyond the normal charging time (3-4 hours). Stop it immediately. Otherwise, the battery may cause heating, deformation, or a burning hazard. It is not necessary to remove the charger after charging is completed (no lights on the charging indicator).

• When the battery is not in use for a long time or is over-discharged, you may find the working time is reduced at the first few times. It is recommended you fully charge the battery (usually 3-4 hours) and discharge it. Repeat this action two times to restore full capacity.

To ensure the performance of the GRUNDIG VCP 3830, it is recommended that you clean the EPA E12 Filter regularly and replace it after 3-6 months, depending on usage.

Switch off and unplug the GRUNDIG VCP 3830 before cleaning it. Never use gasoline, solvent, abrasive cleaning agents, metal objects, or hard brushes to clean the appliance.

If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, store it carefully.

• Unplug the appliance.

• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

• For long-term storage, keep the battery intact, stored in a cool dry place, and let the battery remain in a semi-state of charge (not full or empty). Enclose the battery with non-conductive material to avoid metal touching the battery directly, which could cause damage.

During handling and transportation, carry the GRUNDIG VCP 3830 in its original packaging. The packaging protects it against physical damages.

• Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or on the packaging, as it may get damaged.

• Dropping the appliance may render it non-operational or cause permanent damage.

Please follow all safety instructions to avoid damages due to improper use:

• Always keep hair, clothing, and any other utensils away from the appliance during operation to prevent injury and damages.

• The appliance is designed for domestic use only. The warranty will be voided if the appliance is used for industrial or commercial purposes.

• Do not use on wet surfaces and do not attempt to use on wet objects.

• Do not use the appliance in wet surroundings or with wet hands.

• This appliance is designed for vacuuming dirt and dust particles. Do not attempt to use it on large objects which could block and damage the appliance.

• Do not use to clean cigarette stubs, ash from a fireplace, or matches. This could cause a fire.

• This appliance is not designed for cleaning people or animals.

• Do not insert any foreign objects into the suction intake. Always keep the suction intake free of all objects.

• Never operate the appliance without the filter. Clean the filter when necessary.

• Only use original GRUNDIG accessories when replacing parts.

• Always pull out the power cord after the charging process, before cleaning, or carrying out any maintenance on the appliance or the charging unit.

• Do not use the appliance if the air duct and the ventilation slot are blocked. Always keep them free of dirt, hair, and any other elements which could obstruct or block the air flow.

For your safety, please adhere to the following battery guidelines:

• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.

• The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery.

• Dispose of used batteries according to local laws and regulations.

• WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit DK20C-260060H-V provided with this appliance.

• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the appliance before being charged.

• Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.

• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.

• If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.

• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

• Only use with ZB1852 or ZB1852-01 battery.
