The remote control for the GRUNDIG VCR 3130 has the following functions:

Indicator Light Meanings During Charging:

• Blinking Red: The appliance is charging.

• Solid Blue: The appliance is fully charged.

• Blinks Twice a Second (in standby mode): The battery is low.

• Constant Red (in cleaning mode): The battery is low, and the appliance is automatically searching for the charging unit (14).

To start Automatic Cleaning, you can either:

• Press the “AUTO” button on the appliance itself.

The GRUNDIG VCR 3130 will switch to cleaning mode and clean the entire area following a zigzag cleaning route. At the end of cleaning, the robot will return to the charging station.

You can select different cleaning modes using the “MODE” button on the remote controller.

Edge Cleaning (MODE1):

Press the “MODE” button until “MODE1” is displayed on the screen. The appliance will clean the edges of the wall and stay clear of the charging unit (14) to avoid crashing. It will return to the charging unit at the end of cleaning.

Area Cleaning (MODE2):

Press the “MODE” button until “MODE2” is displayed on the screen. The appliance will clean a 2m x 2m area where it is located. At the end of cleaning, it will switch to standby mode.

Random Cleaning (MODE3):

Press the “MODE” button until “MODE3” is displayed on the screen. The appliance will clean the room following a random route until it runs out of battery, then it will move to the charging unit (14) to recharge.

Intense Cleaning (MODE4):

Press the “MODE” button until “MODE4” is displayed on the screen. The appliance will operate two laps of cleaning by following a zigzag route. It will return to the charging unit (14) at the end.

Maximum Cleaning:

Press the “MAX” button on the remote controller (15) while the appliance is in standby or cleaning mode. The cleaning route is the same as automatic cleaning, but the appliance will switch to maximum suction mode for a more extensive cleaning.

You can schedule your GRUNDIG VCR 3130 using the remote controller. When set, the appliance will start cleaning automatically at the scheduled time.

First, set the clock on the remote:

1. Push and hold the “CLK” button on the remote controller (15). Blinking digits will appear on the screen.

2. Use the up and down buttons to change the blinking digits.

3. Use the left and right buttons to proceed to the next digit.

4. After setting the time, you can change the day information in the top line each time the right button is pressed.

5. Finally, push the “CLK” button again. The screen will stop blinking, meaning the time is set.

Setting the schedule time:

1. Make sure the robot is in standby or charging state. Push and hold the “PLAN” button on the remote controller to switch to scheduling mode.

2. Blinking digits will be displayed. These digits represent the delay time. For example, if it is 8 AM and you set the remote to 01:00, the appliance will start operating in 1 hour (at 9 AM). Use the left and right buttons to proceed to the next digit to be set.

3. Once set, push the “ON/OFF” button. You will hear a short beep if the scheduling was successful.

4. After hearing the beep, you can return to the home screen by pushing and holding the “PLAN” button.

Note: A scheduled hour is only available for one hour. If the main switch is turned off before the scheduled time, the scheduling will be cancelled.

Cancelling a programme time:

1. When the remote controller is in scheduling mode, push and hold the “ON/OFF” button again. 00:00 will be displayed on the screen.

2. Push the “ON/OFF” button again to cancel the programme time. The appliance will beep twice if successful.

3. Return to the home screen by pushing and holding the “PLAN” button.

To use the mopping function on your GRUNDIG VCR 3130, follow these steps:

1. Attach the mop attachment to the cloth duct and stretch the mop cloth to fix it on the fasteners.

2. Open the water container (11) lid, fill it with water, and close the lid.

3. Turn the appliance upside down. Place the mop attachment ducts onto the ducts on the bottom of the appliance and push until you hear a clicking noise.

4. To remove the mop attachment, push the left and right buttons at the same time and pull the attachment off.

Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning. Never use gasoline, solvents, abrasive cleaners, metal objects, or hard brushes.

Important Filter Information:

• Do not wash the HEPA Filter. Clean it with a brush after each cleaning session.

• The HEPA filter (10) is a replaceable accessory with an expected lifespan of approximately 4 months.

• Since wet filters may decrease performance, replace them with new ones if they get wet.

Step-by-step cleaning process:

1. Open the top cover (1) by lifting it from the part shown with arrows using your fingers.

2. Remove the dust container (9) by holding it by the handle.

3. Remove the filter frame and the filter from the dust container.

4. Empty the dust container (9). The dust container is the only part that may be washed under running water.

5. Once the dust container is completely dry, re-attach the filter and the filter frame.

Clean regularly according to the amount of dust accumulated.

Cleaning the sensor and wheels:

• Clean the sensor and the wheels using a soft fiberglass cloth.

• Clean the charging contact points on the charging unit (14) using a soft, fiberglass cloth.

• Clean the charging contact points on the appliance using a soft, fiberglass cloth.

Cleaning the rotating brush group:

1. Remove the rotating brush group from the appliance.

2. Clean the rotating brush group using a soft fiberglass cloth.

3. The rotating brush may be washed under running water. Note: After washing, please wait until the rotating brush group is completely dry before re-installing.

Cleaning side brushes:

1. Check if the side brushes are damaged or contain foreign substances.

2. Clean the side brushes using cleaning tools or a mopping cloth.

3. In case of kink or deformation, keep the side brushes in hot water for 5 seconds.

4. If damaged, replace the side brushes.

Storage:

• If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, store it carefully.

• Unplug the appliance.
