Step 1. Loosen the 3 set screws on the camera base using the supplied hex wrench.

Step 2. Remove the base from the camera.

Step 3. Determine the mounting location for the camera. Use the camera base as a template to mark the location of the 3 mounting holes.

Step 4. Drill the 3 mounting holes and a larger hole in the center for the cable to pass through.

Step 5. Run the camera’s cable through the center hole and connect it.

Step 6. Secure the base to the mounting surface using the supplied screws. (Use the wall anchors if mounting to stucco or drywall).

Step 7. Re-attach the camera to the base and tighten the 3 set screws.

Step 1. Run a Siamese style coax cable (RG59 or RG6 with an 18AWG pair) from the modulator, DVR, or monitor location to the camera location. A CAT5 cable with video baluns can also be used.

Step 2. Connect the video output of the CHANNEL VISION E4200IR PAL to the coax cable. It is recommended to keep all video connections inside a weatherproof J-box to prevent corrosion.

Step 3. Connect the 12VDC power adapter to the camera’s power input jack. The CHANNEL VISION E4200IR PAL uses a standard 2.1mm power connector. Center pin is positive (+).
