To prepare the power supply, use only the AC adaptor (AD-E24250LW) supplied with the digital piano. Connect the components in the following order:

1. Plug the power cord into the AC adaptor.

2. Plug the AC adaptor into the power supply terminal (DC 24V) on the bottom of the digital piano.

3. Plug the power cord into a household wall outlet.

Important: Always turn off the power before plugging in or unplugging the AC adaptor. Unplug the adaptor from the power outlet when not using the instrument for a long period of time.

To turn the power on, press the Power button. Each touch button will blink while the digital piano is starting up. When all touch buttons are lit, the instrument is ready for use. Use the volume knob to adjust the level after turning the power on.

To turn the power off, press and hold the Power button for about 2 seconds.

Note: The CASIO CELVIANO AP-300WE features an Auto Power Off function that automatically turns the power off after approximately 20 minutes of inactivity to prevent unnecessary power consumption.

Opening the Keyboard Cover: Place both hands in the recess of the keyboard cover, lift it up slightly, and push it back until it is completely open. Be sure to open it completely before playing.

Closing the Keyboard Cover: Place both hands in the recess of the keyboard cover and slowly pull it toward you until it is completely closed.

Important: Be careful not to get hands or fingers caught in the cover. Do not let go of the cover while opening or closing it, and do not place objects on the cover as they may fall inside the instrument.

The CASIO CELVIANO AP-300WE has 18 built-in tones plus one bass tone. You can select them using the following methods:

Selecting a Specific Tone: Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press one of the keys from G3 to C#5. The tone names are marked above the keys.

Selecting Tones in Order: Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the B2 key to select the previous tone or the C3 key to select the next tone.

Quick Selection: Touching the GRAND PIANO button alone will immediately select the GRAND PIANO CONCERT tone.

Layering Tones: To play two tones simultaneously, hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the C7 key to turn Layer on. The first tone selected is the Upper1 part and the second is the Upper2 part. To select the Upper2 tone, hold GRAND PIANO and press a key from G3 to C5 while Layer is on.

Splitting the Keyboard: To assign a bass tone to the left side of the keyboard, hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the C#5 key (BASS). This splits the keyboard into a Lower Part (bass) and an Upper1 Part (treble).

Start/Stop: Touch the METRONOME button to start or stop the metronome.

Setting the Beat: Hold down the METRONOME button and press a key from C#3 to Bb3. C#3 sets the metronome to “Off” (click only), while D3 through Bb3 set beats from 1 to 9.

Adjusting Tempo: Hold down the METRONOME button and press the B2 (tempo -) or C3 (tempo +) keys. You can also input a specific tempo (20 to 255 bpm) by holding METRONOME and using keys A0 to F#1 as a number pad.

Tap Tempo: Hold down the METRONOME button and tap the Bb2 key two or more times to set the tempo based on your tapping speed.

You can change the sensitivity of the Touch Response to match your playing style. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press one of the following keys:

Eb1: Off (Volume remains constant regardless of key pressure).

E1: 1 (Light – easier to produce loud sounds).

F1: 2 (Medium light).

F#1: 3 (Normal – standard setting).

G1: 4 (Medium heavy).

Ab1: 5 (Heavy – harder to produce loud sounds).

Transpose allows you to raise or lower the overall pitch in semitone steps. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the C#1 key to lower the pitch or the D1 key to raise the pitch. Pressing C#1 and D1 together resets the transposition to the default setting (0).

1. Ensure the recorder is set to MIDI mode by holding FUNCTION and pressing B3.

2. Touch the Record (REC) button. The button will blink red to indicate record standby.

3. Start playing. Recording begins automatically. The REC button will stay lit red.

4. To stop recording, touch the REC button again. The light will return to white.

5. To play back the recording, touch the Play/Stop button.

1. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB Type A port.

2. Press and hold the FUNCTION button.

3. While holding FUNCTION, press the C2 key (Format). The right side of the beat indicator will blink.

4. Press the C1 key (Execute) to start formatting. The indicators above the SOUND MODE and Play/Stop buttons will light up sequentially during the process.

5. Release the FUNCTION button once formatting begins. Do not remove the drive until the process is complete.

Warning: Formatting a USB flash drive will delete all data currently stored on it.

1. Press and hold the FUNCTION button.

2. Press the A0 key (Factory Reset). The digital piano enters standby and the FUNCTION button blinks.

3. Press the C1 key (Execute) to start the reset.

4. Release the FUNCTION button. When the process is complete, all touch buttons on the panel will light up.

Cause: You may be using gloved hands or a stylus, or the sensitivity is set incorrectly.

Solution 1: Firmly touch the buttons with bare fingers.

Solution 2: If the buttons still do not respond, turn off the power. While pressing the C8 key (the rightmost key), press the Power button. Do not release C8 until the buttons start to blink. This sets the touch button sensitivity to high.

1. Check the volume knob and ensure it is not turned all the way down.

2. Check if headphones or a conversion plug are connected to the PHONES/OUTPUT jacks; unplug them to use the speakers.

3. Ensure the Local Control setting is not set to “Off”. To fix this, hold FUNCTION and press F6 to toggle it “On”.

4. Check if Speaker Out is set to “Off”. Hold FUNCTION and press Eb7 to adjust the Speaker Out setting to “Auto” or “On”.

Keyboard Volume: Hold FUNCTION and press G3 (lower) or Ab3 (raise). Default value is 42.

MIDI Song Volume: Hold FUNCTION and press F3 (lower) or F#3 (raise). Default value is 42.

Audio Song Playback Volume: Hold FUNCTION and press D3 (lower) or Eb3 (raise). Default value is 35.

Wireless Audio Playback Volume: Hold FUNCTION and press B2 (lower) or C3 (raise). Default value is 35.

To turn these effects on or off, touch the SOUND MODE button. To select a specific preset, hold down the SOUND MODE button and press a key from A0 to E1:
