To prepare the power supply, use the supplied AC adaptor (model AD-E24250LW). Connect the power cord to the AC adaptor, then plug the adaptor into the DC 24V terminal on the digital piano. Finally, plug the power cord into a household wall outlet.

Important safety precautions include:

Never connect the AC adaptor and power cord supplied with this digital piano to any other device.

Be sure to turn the power off before unplugging or plugging in the AC adaptor.

Unplug the AC adaptor from the power outlet when not using the CASIO CELVIANO AP-300BN for a long period of time.

To open the keyboard cover, place both hands in the recess of the cover, lift it up slightly, and push it back until it is completely open.

To close the keyboard cover, place both hands in the recess and slowly pull it toward you until it is completely closed.

When operating the cover, be careful not to get hands or fingers caught in the cover gap. Do not let go of the cover while it is moving, and do not place any objects on top of it, as they may fall inside the instrument.

To turn the power on, press the Power button. Each touch button will blink while the digital piano is starting up. When all buttons remain lit, the instrument is ready for use. Use the volume knob to adjust the sound level.

To turn the power off, press and hold the Power button for about two seconds. The instrument will enter standby mode. Note that even in standby mode, a small current still flows, so the AC adaptor should be disconnected if the piano will not be used for an extended period.

The CASIO CELVIANO AP-300BN features an Auto Power Off function that automatically turns the power off after approximately 20 minutes of inactivity to prevent unnecessary power consumption.

There are three ways to select a single tone:

1. Direct Selection: Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press a key from G3 to C#5. The tone names are marked above the keys.

2. Sequential Selection: Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the B2 key to select the previous tone or the C3 key to select the next tone in the list.

3. Grand Piano Shortcut: Touch the GRAND PIANO button alone to immediately select the GRAND PIANO CONCERT tone.

The following table lists the available tones and their selection keys:

Layering allows you to play two tones simultaneously. The first tone is called Upper1 and the second is Upper2.

Step 1. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the C7 key to turn Layer on.

Step 2. To select the Upper2 part tone, ensure Layer is on, then hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press a key from G3 to C5.

Upper1 part tones are selected using the standard tone selection method when Layer is set to Off.

Splitting assigns a bass tone to the left side of the keyboard (Lower Tone Section) while keeping the treble side (Upper1 Tone Section) as the previously selected tone.

Step 1. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button.

Step 2. Press the C#5 key (BASS). This will split the keyboard.

To cancel the split state, select any tone other than the BASS tone.

The Duet function splits the keyboard into left and right sides with the same pitch range, ideal for teacher and student performances.

Step 1. Hold down the FUNCTION button.

Step 2. Press the F2 key to cycle through Duet Mode settings: Off, On, or Pan.

In Pan mode, the sound of the left keyboard is output only from the left speaker, and the sound of the right keyboard is output only from the right speaker.

To start or stop the metronome, touch the METRONOME button.

To set the beat, hold down the METRONOME button and press a key from C#3 to Bb3. The settings include:

There are several ways to adjust the tempo between 20 and 255 beats per minute:

1. Entering a Number: Hold down the METRONOME button and use keys A0 to F#1 (representing numbers 0 to 9) to input the value.

2. Using +/- Keys: Hold down the METRONOME button and press B2 (tempo -) or C3 (tempo +) to change the value by 1.

3. Tempo Markings: Hold down the METRONOME button and press keys C2 to Ab2 to select a marking like Largo (46 bpm), Andante (72 bpm), or Presto (184 bpm).

4. Tap Tempo: Hold down the METRONOME button and tap the Bb2 key two or more times to set the tempo based on the speed of your taps.

Touch the SOUND MODE button to cycle through effect combinations. Indicators above the button will show if Hall Simulator/Reverb and Surround are On or Off.

To select a preset, hold down the SOUND MODE button and press a key from A0 to E1:

Hall Simulator Presets: N.Y. Club (A0), Opera Hall (Bb0), Berlin Hall (B0), British Stadium (C1).

Reverb Presets: Room (C#1), Large Room (D1), Hall (Eb1), Stadium (E1).

To adjust the depth, hold down the SOUND MODE button and press D2 (decrease) or Eb2 (increase).

The Acoustic Simulator allows you to adjust characteristics of piano sounds. Hold down the SOUND MODE button and use the following keys:

String Resonance: Press C#3 to F#3 to adjust resonance levels (Off to 4).

Damper Resonance: Press G3 to C4 to adjust the resonance when the damper pedal is used (Off to 4).

Damper Noise: Press C#4 to F#4 to adjust the volume of the noise when the damper moves (Off to 4).

Key On Action Noise: Press G4 to C5 to adjust the mechanical action noise when pressing keys (Off to 4).

Key Off Action Noise: Press C#5 to F#5 to adjust the mechanical action noise when releasing keys (Off to 4).

Lid Simulator: Press G5 to B5 to simulate the sound of a closed, semi-open, or fully open piano lid.

Transpose: Hold the GRAND PIANO button and press C#1 to lower the pitch or D1 to raise the pitch in semitone steps (-12 to +12).

Fine-tuning: Hold the FUNCTION button and press B4 to decrease or C5 to increase the frequency of the A4 note by 0.1 Hz (Range: 415.5 to 465.9 Hz). Press A4 to set to exactly 440.0 Hz.

Octave Shift: To shift the Upper1 part, hold the GRAND PIANO button and press B0 (lower) or C1 (raise). For the Upper2 part, hold GRAND PIANO and press Eb7 (lower) or E7 (raise).

Step 1. Touch the REC button. It will blink red, indicating record standby.

Step 2. Start playing. The REC button will light solid red, and recording will begin automatically.

Step 3. To end recording, touch the REC button again. The light will return to white.

Step 4. To listen to the recording, touch the Play/Stop button.

You can record two tracks (left-hand and right-hand parts) separately using the Track Indicator and overdubbing functions.

Step 1. Switch the instrument to Audio Recorder mode by holding down the FUNCTION button and pressing the C4 key.

Step 2. Insert a formatted USB flash drive into the USB Type A port.

Step 3. Touch the REC button. It will blink red.

Step 4. Start playing. The REC button will light solid red. Recording is saved in WAV format.

Step 5. Touch the REC button to stop. Recordings are named TAKE01.WAV up to TAKE99.WAV.

Formatting deletes all data on the flash drive. Ensure important data is backed up before proceeding.

Step 1. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB Type A port.

Step 2. Press and hold the FUNCTION button.

Step 3. Press the C2 key (Format). The right side of the beat indicator will blink.

Step 4. Press the C1 key (Execute) while still holding FUNCTION.

Step 5. Wait for the indicators to stop blinking sequentially, then release the FUNCTION button.

To pair for Bluetooth Audio:

Step 1. Insert the Wireless MIDI and audio adaptor into the USB Type A port.

Step 2. Hold down the FUNCTION button and press the C#1 key. The Power button will flash blue.

Step 3. On your smart device, select “WU-BT10 AUDIO” in the Bluetooth settings.

Step 4. Once connected, the Power button will light up blue, and a notification tone will sound.

To connect for Bluetooth MIDI, use the settings menu within a compatible application like CASIO MUSIC SPACE and select “WU-BT10 MIDI”.

A factory reset returns all settings to their original factory defaults.

Step 1. Press and hold the FUNCTION button.

Step 2. Press the A0 key. The FUNCTION button will blink.

Step 3. Press the C1 key (Execute) to start the process.

Step 4. Release the FUNCTION button once the reset is complete and all panel touch buttons light up.

If touch buttons do not respond, check if you are using gloved hands or a stylus; buttons must be touched with bare fingers. If the sensitivity needs adjustment, perform the following:

1. Turn off the power.

2. While pressing the C8 key (the rightmost key), press the Power button.

3. Do not release the C8 key until the touch buttons start to blink. This sets the sensitivity to high.

If there is no sound, check the following:

1. Ensure the volume knob is turned up.

2. Check if headphones or a conversion plug are connected to the PHONES/OUTPUT jacks; unplug them if necessary.

3. Ensure Local Control is set to On by holding FUNCTION and pressing F6.

4. Check the Speaker Out setting. If it is set to Off, hold FUNCTION and press Eb7 to change it to On or Auto.
