1. Remove the ventilation cover by unscrewing its screws.

2. Balance the refrigerator by turning the front legs. Turn in the direction of the black arrow to lower the corner, and in the opposite direction to raise it. Having someone slightly lift the refrigerator will make this process easier.

3. Once the balance issue is resolved, reinstall the ventilation cover and fasten the screws.

4. To access the front legs, you may need to remove the screws fastening the lower ventilation cover using a Philips screwdriver.

To adjust the gap between the upper fridge compartment doors on your BLOMBERG KQD 1250, follow these steps. Ensure the door shelves are empty before starting.

1. Using a screwdriver, remove the screw of the upper hinge cover of the door you wish to adjust.

2. Loosen the screws to adjust the door to your desired position.

3. Fix the door in its new position by tightening the screws without changing the door’s position.

4. Replace the hinge cover and secure it with the screw.

The touch-control indicator panel on your BLOMBERG KQD 1250 allows you to set the temperature without opening the door. Here are the functions of the main buttons:

• **Eco Extra/Vacation Button:** Press briefly to activate the Eco Extra function. Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate the Vacation function. Press again to deactivate.

• **Fast Freeze / Ice Off Button:** Press briefly to activate the Fast Freeze function. Press again to deactivate. To stop ice formation, press and hold the ice-off function button for 3 seconds.

• **Freezer Compartment Temperature Setting Button:** Press this button to cycle the freezer temperature through -18, -20, -22, -24°C.

• **Fridge Compartment Temperature Setting Button:** Press this button to cycle the fridge temperature through 8, 6, 4, 2°C.

• **Quick Cool Button:** Press briefly to activate the Quick Cool function. Press again to deactivate.

• **Flexi Zone Storage Compartment Temperature Setting Button:** Press and hold for 3 seconds to set the compartment as either a Freezer or a Cooler. If set as a freezer, press to cycle temperatures (-18, -20, -22, -24°C). If set as a cooler, press to cycle temperatures (-6, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10°C).

• **Key Lock:** Press the Quick Cool Button and Flexi Zone Storage Compartment Temperature Setting Button simultaneously for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the key lock feature, which prevents temperature settings from being changed.

The indicator panel on your BLOMBERG KQD 1250 displays the status of various functions:

• **Vacation Function Indicator:** Shows that the vacation function is active. The fridge compartment indicator will display “- -” and no cooling will occur in that compartment.

The Freezer Compartment Temperature indicator will display “E” and the Fridge Compartment Temperature Indicator will display numbers like “1,2,3…”. • **Key Lock Indicator:** Shows that the temperature settings are locked.

• **Ice-off function Indicator:** Indicates that you have chosen not to get ice from the refrigerator, activated by pressing the ice-off button for 3 seconds.

The Auto Icematic system allows you to easily obtain ice. Follow these steps:

1. Remove the water tank from the fridge compartment.

2. Fill it with water.

3. Install it back into its position.

The first ice will be ready in approximately 2 hours in the ice drawer located in the freezer compartment. A full water tank can produce up to 70 ice cubes. It is recommended to change the water in the tank if it remains there for more than 2-3 weeks.

For cleaning your BLOMBERG KQD 1250, follow these instructions:

• Never use gasoline, benzene, or similar substances.

• It is recommended to unplug the appliance before cleaning.

• Do not use any sharp abrasive instruments, soap, household cleaner, detergent, or wax polish.
