The installation steps for the ASUS PRIME H510M-F R3.0 are as follows:

To install the CPU, follow these steps:

1. Open the CPU socket lever.

2. Open the retention bracket.

3. Align the CPU’s golden triangle with the alignment mark on the socket and place the CPU in the socket.

4. Close the retention bracket, then close and lock the socket lever.

5. Apply thermal paste to the top of the installed CPU.

NOTE: Do not remove the PnP cap before the CPU is properly installed.

To install the memory modules:

1. Unlock the retention clip at the end of the DIMM slot.

2. Align the notch on the memory module with the key in the slot.

3. Firmly insert the module into the slot until the retention clip snaps back into place.

To install an M.2 SSD:

1. Remove the pre-installed M.2 Q-latch or screw.

2. Insert the M.2 SSD into the socket.

3. Secure the M.2 SSD by rotating the M.2 Q-latch, securing the screw properly, or inserting the pin of the M.2 Anchor into the hole.

OPTIONAL: Install the bundled rubber for M.2 when installing a single-sided M.2 module.

To install a cooling system:

1. Place the cooler on top of the CPU after applying thermal paste.

2. Secure the cooler to the motherboard using the provided screws.

3. Connect the fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.

For an Air Cooler:

Connect the fan cable to the CPU_FAN / CPU_OPT header.

For an AIO Cooler:

Connect the radiator fan cable(s) to the CPU_FAN / CPU_OPT header.

Connect the pump cable to the AIO_PUMP / W_PUMP header.

Follow these steps to install the motherboard:

A. For non pre-mounted I/O shield models, install the I/O shield into the back of the chassis.

B. Carefully place the ASUS PRIME H510M-F R3.0 motherboard into the chassis, aligning the mounting holes with the standoffs in the chassis.

C. Secure the motherboard to the chassis using screws.

Connect the cable from your chassis fan to the 4-pin “Chassis Fan” header located on the ASUS PRIME H510M-F R3.0 motherboard.

First, install the PSU into the computer chassis. Make sure the PSU is secured to the chassis using screws and that the chassis has proper airflow. After installation, connect the main power cables from the PSU to the ASUS PRIME H510M-F R3.0 motherboard’s ATX_PWR and CPU_12V connectors.
