How do I assemble the ANKO BD24042W?
Step 1. Attach the individual ground stakes to the bottom of each ghost stake by sliding them together as shown in the assembly diagram.
Step 2. Once the stakes are attached, press the bottom of the stakes firmly into the ground to secure them along your pathway.
How do I install batteries in the ANKO BD24042W?
1. Remove all packaging before use and dispose of safely.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 x AA size batteries (not included) into the compartment.
4. Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly by paying attention to the polarities (+/-). The unit will not power up if the batteries are inserted with the wrong polarity.
How do I operate the light and timer functions on the ANKO BD24042W?
The ANKO BD24042W features a multi-function button on the battery compartment to control the device:
To turn the lights on: Press the button on the battery compartment to switch to the “ON” position. The light set should now be lit.
To use the Timer function: Press the button on the battery compartment to switch to “Timer”. In this mode, the light will turn off automatically after 6 hours of use and will turn itself back on after 18 hours.
To turn the lights off: Press the button on the battery compartment to switch to the “OFF” position.
What are the safety warnings and battery maintenance requirements for the ANKO BD24042W?
The light set is designed for OUTDOOR ONLY use.
This unit is powered by 3 x AA size batteries which are not included.
Always remove the batteries if the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time.
Use only the size and type of battery specified.
Batteries must not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources such as fire, ovens, or similar environments.
When the battery power is low, the unit will not operate. You will need to insert new batteries to resume operation.
Do not mix new and old batteries.
