Step 1. Apply the thermal paste (Part F) to the surface of the CPU.
Step 2. Prepare the mounting bracket (Part A). For LGA 1200/115X sockets, align the pins to the inner position. For the LGA 775 socket, align the pins to the outer position. Insert the four clear washers (Part D) into the pins on the bottom side of the bracket.
Step 3. Place the prepared mounting bracket (Part A) onto the motherboard, aligning the four pins with the mounting holes around the CPU socket. Secure the bracket by inserting and pushing down the four black push-pins (Part C) through the bracket and into the motherboard holes.
Step 4. Place the cooler onto the CPU. Latch the mounting clip on one side of the cooler onto the mounting bracket (Part A). Then, press the mounting clip on the opposite side down firmly until it latches onto the bracket.
Step 5. Connect the cooler’s fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard.
