Wire-Free Placement: No wires means you can place the doorbell wherever you want.

Color Night Vision: Reveals high-fidelity details and color at night with the starlight sensor.

Quick Response: Responds to your deliveries without saying a word with customizable responses through the Tapo app.

Flexible Storage Choices: Saves recorded videos on the hub-installed microSD card (up to 512 GB) or by using Tapo Care cloud storage services. A microSD card needs to be purchased separately.

Hub as Indoor Chime: Chooses from a variety of ringtones to replace a traditional wired chime.

Motion Detection: Gets instant notifications when your camera detects motion.

IP64 Water & Dust Resistant: Helps the Tapo doorbell perform well even in harsh environments with rain and dust.

Two-Way Audio: Communicates with others with the built-in microphone and speaker.

The back of the doorbell has a SYNC/RESET button and an Anti-Theft Button.

SYNC/RESET Button:

Press for 1s: Pair with the hub.

Press and hold for about 5s: Reset the doorbell.

Anti-Theft Button:

When the Anti-Theft Alarm is enabled on the Tapo app, an alarm will trigger once the doorbell is removed.

Press and hold for 5s: Pause the alarm (Continues to alarm when released).

Press and hold the SYNC/RESET button and Anti-Theft button simultaneously for 10s: Disable the anti-theft alarm feature.

The hub has the following components:

SYNC Button: Press to pair with the camera, or silence the hub when it rings.

RESET Button: Press and hold for about 5 seconds until the hub LED quickly blinks red to reset the hub.

microSD Card Slot: Insert a microSD card to record camera videos locally. Initialize the microSD card within the Tapo app first. The microSD card is not included.

Status LED: Indicates the status of your hub.

Connect the battery to a 5V USB charger. The status light on the battery indicates the charging status:

Charging: Solid amber

Fully charged: Solid green

Notes:

1. Charge the battery before use. This will take about 5-6 hours.

2. If you want to use the doorbell while charging the battery, it is recommended to purchase another battery for your convenience.

1. Use a pin to detach the doorbell from its mounting bracket or back cover.

2. Insert the charged battery into the battery compartment of the doorbell.

Follow these steps to get started with your new hub and camera.

Step 1. Download Tapo App

Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2. Log In

Open the app, and log in with your TP-Link ID. If you don’t have an account, create one first.

Step 3. Add Your Hub First

Tap the ‘+’ button in the app and select your hub model. Follow app instructions to set up your hub.

Step 4. Add Your Doorbell

Tap the ‘+’ button in the app and select your doorbell model. Follow app instructions to set up your doorbell.

If you want the camera to record videos locally, insert a microSD card into the microSD card slot on your hub. After inserting the card, you must initialize it within the Tapo app. You can go to Camera Settings > microSD Card in the Tapo app to check the card status or format your card.

Before you install the doorbell, read the installation tips below:

1. Install the doorbell on a flat wall.

2. The doorbell should be placed 1.2 m (4 ft) above the ground.

3. Use the included 15° mounting wedge for a more focused view from a specific side. You can flip the wedge 180° to find the appropriate angle.

4. Avoid placing the doorbell close to a side wall in the field of view. If you must, use the mounting wedge to adjust the viewing angle to reduce reflected light from the wall for better night vision performance.

This method is applicable for tile, glass, marble, metal, stainless steel, and hard wall surfaces.

1. Attach the included adhesive to the back of the bracket. Note: The adhesive is for one-time use. Avoid re-using the adhesive to ensure its adhesion.

2. Wipe off the dust from the surface, stick the bracket with adhesive to the clean wall, and press it down for 15 seconds to ensure the bracket is firmly attached.

3. Attach the doorbell to the bracket.

Standard Installation:

1. Stick the mounting template to the desired mounting place. Drill two holes (Φ=6 mm or 15/64 in.) according to the template.

2. Insert two anchors into the holes and use the screws to affix the bracket over the anchors. Then attach the doorbell to the bracket.

Optional – Use 15° Mounting Wedge to Adjust Angle:

To adjust the viewing angle of the doorbell, you can use the 15° mounting wedge included in the package.

1. After drilling holes, insert two anchors into the holes.

2. Place the bracket above the wedge.

3. Use the screws to affix the wedge and bracket over the anchors.

4. Attach the doorbell to the bracket.

Do not use this product in health care facilities. Hospitals or health care facilities may be using equipment that could be sensitive to external RF energy.

Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.

When you leave the product unused for a long time unplug the product from the power outlet.

This product may interfere with other electronic products such as TV, radios, personal computers, phones or other wireless devices.

Always follow the local waste and recycle laws when you get rid of the used battery.

Do not use the product if the casing has been broken. Danger of electric shock.

Never touch the product with wet hands.

The mounting height should not be higher than 2 meters.
