The TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100 utilises an 18650 or 26650 battery. To fit the battery, follow these steps:

1. Remove the battery cover on the back of the device.

2. Insert the battery, ensuring the correct polarity.

3. If you are using an 18650 battery, it should be slid into the battery sleeve provided prior to installation.

Note: The battery should be capable of at least 25A constant discharge.

The TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100 uses a 5-click on/off function. To switch the device on, quickly press the power button 5 times. The screen will illuminate to indicate the device is powered on. To switch the device off, press the power button 5 times again; the screen will power off to indicate the device is off.

Note: After 30 seconds of inactivity while powered on, the screen will enter standby mode. The previous screen will recover once any button is pressed.

When a new atomizer is connected or an existing one is reconnected to the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100, the message “New Coil Right, Same Coil Left” may be displayed.

1. Press the right adjustment button to confirm that a new atomizer has been connected.

2. Press the left adjustment button to confirm that the existing atomizer has been reconnected.

Note: Selection of a new coil should only be made when the atomizer and coil are at room temperature.

To charge the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100, connect it via the USB cable to a powered USB port or suitable wall adapter. Alternatively, the battery can be removed and charged using a suitable external charger.

To replace the battery, remove the magnetic battery cover on the back of the device and remove the 18650 or 26650 battery. Insert a charged battery, replace the cover, and continue vaping.

To lock the power button on the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100, slide the locking switch located above the power button to the right. To unlock it, slide the switch to the left.

To shift between VW, Bypass, VT-Ni, VT-Ti, VT-SS, and TCR modes:

1. Ensure the device is powered on.

2. Press the power button 3 times consecutively until the first row flashes.

3. Use the right adjustment button to cycle through the available modes.

While in VT mode on the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100, use the left or right adjustment buttons to decrease or increase the temperature (100-315 degrees Celsius or 200-600 degrees Fahrenheit).

To adjust wattage in VT mode: Press the power button 3 times consecutively. Press the left adjustment button once until the wattage value flashes. Use the right adjustment button to set the wattage level.

To lock or unlock atomizer resistance: Press the power button 3 times consecutively. Press the left adjustment button twice until the atomizer value flashes. Use the right adjustment button to lock or unlock the resistance. Resistance should only be locked when the coil is at room temperature.

To set the temperature coefficient of resistance on the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100:

1. When the device is powered off, simultaneously hold the power button and the right adjustment button to enter the TCR configuration menu.

2. Use the adjustment buttons to select a memory slot (M1, M2, or M3).

3. Press the power button to select the TCR value.

4. Use the adjustment buttons to increase or decrease the value.

5. Long press the power button or leave the device for 10 seconds to confirm the selection.

Note: The TCR value displayed is (100,000) times greater than the actual TCR value and is for TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100 usage only.

These details are displayed on the third row of the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100 screen. To shift between them:

1. Press the power button 3 times to activate the menu.

2. Use the left adjustment button to select the user information section.

3. Press the right adjustment button to cycle between the puff counter, puff duration, and PCB temperature.

To display the battery voltage on the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100, ensure the device is powered off, then hold the power button and left adjustment button simultaneously. The battery voltage will appear on the screen.

Stealth Mode: When the TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100 is powered on, simultaneously hold the power button and the left adjustment button. Repeat to deactivate.

Key Lock Mode: When powered on, simultaneously hold both adjustment buttons for 3 seconds. Repeat to deactivate.

Display Modes (Orientation): When the device is powered off, hold both adjustment buttons to turn the display through 180 degrees.

The TOTALLY WICKED GRIP VT100 features several protections and alerts:

Atomizer Protection: In VT mode, if the coil reaches the set temperature, “temp protection” is displayed.

Short Circuit Protection: If a short circuit occurs, “atomizer short” is displayed.

No Atomizer Alert: If no atomizer is detected, “No Atomizer Found” is displayed.

Atomizer Low Alert: Displayed if resistance is below 0.1 ohm in VW/Bypass mode or below 0.05 ohm in VT mode.

Low Voltage Protection: Displayed as “Battery Low” when voltage is below 3.3V. If pressed continually, “Battery Low Lock” appears and the device will not power.

Low Battery Alert: The power symbol flashes when the battery is below 10% capacity.

Weak Battery Alert: “Weak Battery” appears if voltage drops below 2.9V while firing.

Temperature Protection: If the device exceeds 70 degrees Celsius, it stops output and displays “Device Too Hot”.

10 Second Protection: If the power button is held for more than 10 seconds, output stops and “Over 10s Protection” is displayed.

Do’s:

Store the device and accessories away from children.

Ensure the device is powered off when not in use.

Remove the battery if the device will not be used for several days.

Use only the provided charging cable.

Use a maximum of 1.5 ohm coils in VT mode.

Use atomizers in the range of 0.1 to 3.5 ohm in bypass mode.

Don’ts:

Do not charge batteries in a damp environment.

Do not use the device in temperatures outside the range of -10 to 60 degrees Celsius.

Do not charge the battery in temperatures outside the range of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.

Do not carry batteries in a pocket with metallic objects.

Do not attempt to repair the unit as it contains no serviceable parts.
