How do I charge the headphones?
1. Connect the supplied micro-USB cable to the charging port on the headphones.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a running computer or a USB AC adaptor.
3. The indicator light will turn red while charging.
4. Charging is complete in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, at which point the indicator light will turn off.
How do I turn the headphones on or off?
To turn on: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The blue indicator will light up. The headphones will automatically try to connect to the last paired device.
To turn off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The blue indicator will flash and then turn off.
How do I pair the headphones with my Android or iPhone using Bluetooth?
1. With the headphones turned off, press and hold the power button for approximately 7 seconds.
2. The indicator light will flash blue and red alternately, indicating it is in pairing mode.
3. On your smartphone, turn on Bluetooth.
4. Search for available devices and select “MDR-ZX220BT” from the list.
5. Once the connection is established, the indicator on the headphones will flash blue slowly.
How do I pair the headphones with an Android smartphone using NFC?
1. Ensure NFC is enabled on your Android smartphone.
2. Unlock the screen of your smartphone.
3. Touch the N-Mark on the left earcup of the headphones to the NFC area on your smartphone.
4. The headphones will turn on automatically and establish a Bluetooth connection.
How do I control music playback?
Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
Next track: Push the control lever towards the “+” side.
Previous track: Push the control lever towards the “-” side.
Increase volume: Push and hold the control lever towards the “+” side.
Decrease volume: Push and hold the control lever towards the “-” side.
How do I handle phone calls?
When you receive an incoming call, press the phone button (which is also the Play/Pause button) to answer the call. To end the call, press the same button again.
