User Safety:

• This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons if they are properly supervised or have been informed about how to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers.

• Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years of age and under supervision.

• Keep this appliance and the power cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

• Children must not play with the appliance.

Electrical Safety:

• Before connecting the SENCOR STS 2707TQ to a power socket, check that the technical details on the appliance label match the electrical voltage in the socket.

• Connect the appliance only to a grounded socket.

• To prevent potential injury by electric shock, do not submerge any part of this appliance under water or any other liquid.

• Do not disconnect the appliance from the power point by pulling the electric cord. Disconnect the cord by gently pulling the plug.

• It is forbidden to use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord/plug. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at an expert service centre.

• Do not use the appliance if it is not working correctly, if it was dropped, damaged, or has been submerged in water. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Have all repairs done at an authorised service centre.

Usage and Placement:

• This appliance is designed for household use only. Do not use it in industrial surroundings or outdoors.

• This appliance is not designed to be controlled using a programmed device, external timer switch, or remote control.

• Do not place the appliance on or near an electrical or gas stove, in the vicinity of an open flame, or on unstable surfaces. Always place it on an even, dry surface.

• Ensure sufficient area for air circulation above and on all sides of the appliance during operation.

• Warning! The bread may catch on fire, so do not use the appliance in the vicinity of flammable materials such as curtains, wipes, wooden surfaces, etc.

• Do not heat bread products directly on the toasting slots or place any other objects on them, as this can block air circulation and cause a fire.

• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces near the toasting slots.

• Do not use the appliance without the crumb tray. The tray must be cleaned regularly to prevent crumb accumulation, which can be a fire hazard.

• This toaster is designed for bread products like bread, toast bread, rolls, buns, and bagels. Do not use it to toast foods containing sugar, marmalade, or canned fruit (e.g., cakes, pies), as other ingredients could cause a fire or injury.

• Always turn off and unplug the appliance when left unsupervised, when not in use, and before cleaning.

• Allow the appliance to fully cool down before moving, cleaning, or storing it.

Warning! Never attempt to take out a jammed piece of bread or any other bread product using a knife or another metal object. This could lead to injury by electrical shock or damage the appliance.

If the bread product becomes jammed in the toaster opening, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the toaster.

2. Disconnect the power cord from the socket.

3. Allow the toaster to cool down completely.

4. Carefully remove the jammed bread product.

The SENCOR STS 2707TQ toaster consists of the following parts:

1. Toaster opening for inserting bread products

2. Control lever with the “High Lift” function for lifting smaller bread products

3. DEFROST button for toasting frozen bread products

4. REHEAT for repeated heating of a toast

5. Electronic toasting intensity dial

6. STOP button to immediately stop operation

7. Crumb tray (located in the bottom part of the toaster)

1. Before first use, take the appliance and its accessories out of the packaging material. It is recommended to run the toaster empty at least three times on the maximum toasting setting to remove any potential odours.

2. Connect the toaster to a power socket. Insert a slice of toast bread, bread, or half a roll into the toasting slot. Ensure the bread product is of an appropriate size and not too thick, so it does not project out or get jammed.

3. Set the desired toasting level using the dial, ranging from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest). For first use, it is recommended to set a middle toasting intensity.

4. Put the appliance into operation by pushing down the control lever. Note: The lever will only lock into position if the power cord is connected to a socket.

5. The toaster will automatically turn off and eject the bread product once the set toasting level is reached. You can interrupt the toasting process at any time by pressing the STOP button.

6. To remove smaller bread products, use the “High Lift” function by lifting the control lever about 2 cm above its initial position.

7. After use, disconnect the SENCOR STS 2707TQ from the power socket and allow it to cool down before handling.

1. Insert frozen bread products into the toasting slots.

2. Set the desired toasting level.

3. Push the control lever down until it becomes secured in the lower position.

4. Press the DEFROST button. The DEFROST button will light up.

5. The toaster will automatically eject the bread products at the end of the defrosting and toasting process.

Note: The toasting process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the STOP button.

This function makes it possible to reheat toast without further toasting.

1. Insert toast into the toasting slots.

2. Push the control lever down until it is secured in the lower position.

3. Press the REHEAT button. The REHEAT button will light up.

4. The toaster will automatically eject the toast at the end of the reheating process.

Note: The reheating process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the STOP button.

Before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the power socket and allow it to cool down completely.

Cleaning the Crumb Tray:

1. To remove crumbs from the tray, hold the toaster over a rubbish bin.

2. Open the tray, remove the crumbs, and then close the tray again.

3. Clean the crumb tray regularly to ensure crumbs do not accumulate, as this could lead to a fire.

Cleaning the Inside:

1. To remove crumbs from inside the toaster, turn the toaster upside down and shake out the crumbs over a rubbish bin.

Cleaning the Outside:

1. Wipe the outside parts of the toaster with a dry or lightly damp cloth and then wipe dry.

2. Ensure that water or dampness does not get inside the toaster.

3. Do not use cleaning products causing abrasion, petrol or solvents to clean the toaster.

4. To prevent potential injury by electric shock, do not submerge any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid.

Disposal of Used Packaging Materials:

Dispose of packaging material at a public waste disposal site.
