Please follow these safety instructions when using your SENCOR STS 2705VT toaster:

• This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons if they are properly supervised or have been informed about how to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers.

• Keep this appliance and the power cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

• Children must not play with the appliance.

• Before connecting the appliance, check that the technical details on the label match the electrical voltage in your socket. Connect only to a grounded socket.

• This appliance is for household use only. Do not use it in industrial surroundings or outdoors.

• Place the appliance on an even, dry, and stable surface. Do not place it on or near an electrical or gas stove, open flame, or other heat sources.

• Ensure there is sufficient area for air circulation above and around the appliance during operation. The bread may catch fire, so do not use it near flammable materials like curtains, wipes, or wooden surfaces.

• Do not heat bread products directly on the toasting slots or place any objects on them, as this can block air circulation and cause a fire.

• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces.

• To prevent injury by electric shock, do not submerge any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid.

• Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power socket when unattended, not in use, or before cleaning.

• Do not disconnect the appliance by pulling the power cord. Gently pull the plug.

• Do not use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord/plug, is not working correctly, has been dropped, damaged, or submerged in water. Have it repaired at an authorized service center.

The SENCOR STS 2705VT toaster is designed to toast bread products such as bread, toast bread, bread rolls, buns, and bagels. Do not use the toaster for foods containing sugar, marmalade, or canned fruit, such as cakes or pies, as these ingredients could cause a fire or injury.

Before the first use, the SENCOR STS 2705VT toaster must be started empty at least three times for the maximum toasting time. This process helps to remove any potential odors from the manufacturing process.

The SENCOR STS 2705VT toaster includes the following parts and controls:

1. Toaster opening for inserting bread products

2. Control lever with the “High Lift” function

3. DEFROST button for toasting frozen bread products

4. REHEAT for repeated heating of a toast

5. Electronic toasting intensity dial (levels 1-6)

6. STOP button to immediately stop operation

7. Crumb tray (located in the bottom part of the toaster)

1. Connect the toaster to a power socket.

2. Insert a slice of toast, bread, or half a roll into the toasting slot. Ensure the bread product is not too thick to become jammed and does not project out of the toaster.

3. Set the desired toasting level using the intensity dial, ranging from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest). For first use, it is recommended to set a middle toasting intensity.

4. Push down the control lever to put the appliance into operation. Note: The lever will only lock in the down position if the power cord is connected to a socket.

5. The toaster will automatically turn off and eject the bread product when the set toast level is achieved. The toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the STOP button.

6. Remove the toast. To remove smaller bread products, use the “High Lift” function by lifting the control lever about 2 cm above its initial position.

7. After use, disconnect the toaster from the socket and allow it to cool down.

1. Insert frozen bread products into the toasting slots.

2. Set the desired toasting level.

3. Push the control lever down until it becomes secured in the lower position.

4. Press the DEFROST button. The button will light up to indicate the function is active.

5. The toaster will automatically eject the bread products at the end of the toasting process. You can interrupt the process at any time by pressing the STOP button.

This function allows you to reheat toast without further toasting.

1. Insert toasts into the toasting slots.

2. Push the control lever down until it is secured in the lower position.

3. Press the REHEAT button. The button will light up to indicate the function is active.

4. The toaster will automatically eject the bread products at the end of the reheating process. You can interrupt the process at any time by pressing the STOP button.

Warning! Never attempt to take out a jammed piece of bread using a knife or another metal object, as this could lead to injury by electrical shock or damage to the appliance.

If a bread product becomes jammed:

1. Turn off the toaster and disconnect the power cord from the socket.

2. Allow the toaster to cool down completely.

3. Carefully remove the jammed bread product.

Before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the power socket and allow it to cool down completely.

Cleaning the Crumb Tray:

The crumb tray must be cleaned regularly to prevent crumbs from accumulating, which could lead to a fire.

1. Hold the toaster above a rubbish bin.

2. Open the tray, remove the crumbs, and then close the tray again.

Cleaning Inside the Toaster:

To remove crumbs from inside the toaster, turn the toaster upside down and shake out the crumbs above a rubbish bin.

Cleaning the Exterior:

Wipe the outside parts of the toaster with a dry or lightly damp cloth and then wipe dry. Ensure that water or dampness does not get inside the toaster. Do not use cleaning products causing abrasion, petrol or solvents. Do not submerge any part of the appliance in water.
