- Charge in a well-ventilated area. Do not block charger vents.
How do you use the cleaning pads?
To remove the cleaning pads/cloths from the buffer unit, simply peel the pad away from the Velcro surface of the buffer. To attach the pads/cloths, take the pad and press the Velcro side of the pad onto the Velcro surface of the buffer and apply firm pressure to ensure the Velcro surfaces are completely meshed together.
How do you fill the water/solution tank?
-
Remove the water tank from the back of the unit by grabbing the sides of the tank with one hand and pressing the release button right above the tank with the other hand. Then pull the tank away from the unit while you are holding in the release button.
-
Unscrew the lid of the water/solution tank and fill it with water and/or floor cleaner of your choice.
-
Reinsert the water tank into the unit by placing the bottom of the tank into the unit first, then pressing the top of the tank into the unit until you hear an audible (CLICK) sound ensuring the tank has been locked into the main unit.
-
Any time you use anything other than water in the solution tank, you will want to properly rinse the system clean after use. To do this, fill the tank about ¼ of the way full with water only. Turn the unit on, and press the solution spray button until the tank is completely drained.
- When flushing the system clean, you can hold the sprayer nozzle over your sink to allow the clean water to spray into your sink to avoid a messy cleanup.
How do you use the Prolux Mirage floor buffer?
- Switch the cleaner to either the “Scrubbing” setting to deep clean your floors, or the “Mopping” setting for polishing and mopping your floors.
- Press the Spray button to spray the water/solution mixture from the spray nozzle located on the base of the unit, to treat the desired areas of your floor.
- Once the desired area is properly saturated with water/solution, you will then run the unit over that area in a smooth slow back and forth motion, until the area is clean.
How do you clean the scrubbing pads?
When the cleaning pads become dirty, you can simply take them off the buffer and wash them by hand in your sink with warm water and a mild detergent for lightly soiled pads, or in your washing machine on a light-duty cycle with mild detergent for heavily soiled pads, and allow them to air dry. Do not place them in the dryer.
How do you clean the housing?
Clean the outside of the housing using only a slightly damp washcloth. Do not use Alcohol, cleaning, or scouring agents to clean your machine, as these may damage the appliance.
What do you do if the unit will not turn on?
-
The battery is not charged.
- Make sure the battery is fully charged by plugging the battery charger into the charging port, then plug the charger into your wall outlet and keep the charger plugged into the unit until the charger light turns Green.
-
The battery is not connected into the unit properly.
- Make sure the battery is plugged into the cleaner, making sure the wire connection from the battery to the cleaner is properly seated.
-
Switch is in the “off” position.
- Turn the on/off switch to either the “Scrubbing” OR “Mopping” position.
What do you do if the brush speed is low?
-
The battery is not fully charged.

The sprayer nozzle is clogged or the tank is empty.
