Step 1. Remove the Blade Cap by twisting it CLOCKWISE while holding the metal shaft tightly. Note: Threads are reversed. Unscrew = Clockwise.

Step 2. Assemble Rear Grille onto Motor Housing. The Rear Grille should fit into the pins on the fan motor housing.

Step 3. Thread the Locknut onto the Motor Housing to lock the Rear Grille in place.

Step 4. Remove any protective covering over the shaft before installing the Fan Blade. Place the Fan Blade onto the Motor Shaft, ensuring the pin on the Motor Shaft fits into the slots of the Fan Blade.

Step 5. Thread the Blade Cap onto the threaded end of the Motor Shaft. Note: Threads are reversed. Tighten = Counter-clockwise.

Step 6. Attach the Front Grille to the Rear Grille with the Hook Clip centered on the top above the Wire Handle.

Step 1. Secure the Wall Bracket to the wall in the desired location. Use proper anchors (not included) for the wall material selected, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Mounting the bracket to wall studs is recommended.

Step 2. Hang the fan on the wall bracket. Place the Bracket Screw through the fan and thread the screw onto the bracket to secure it.

Always operate the fan in the upright position following all instructions and recommendations listed in the manual.

Fan Connection: Plug the fan directly into a 120 volt A.C., 60 Hz wall outlet. Be sure the plug fits tightly in the outlet. A loose connection may cause overheating and damage to the plug or fan. To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the fan into a circuit that is servicing other electrical needs.

Turning Fan On: With the fan mounted to a stable wall surface, plug the fan into a properly functioning outlet. To start the fan, press the SPEED/ON button. Press SPEED/ON repeatedly to select the desired fan speed (LOW, MID, HIGH). Press the OFF button to discontinue use. Unplug the fan when not in use.

To start fan oscillation, press the OSC button on the control panel or remote control while the fan is at any speed or mode. To discontinue oscillation, press the OSC button on the control panel or remote control again.

Place 2 AAA size batteries (not included) in the remote control. Use the buttons on the remote as you would with the control panel. Point the remote control towards the control panel for the sensor to receive a signal.

Accessed using the remote control, the timer function is designed to work during oscillation or any fan mode or speed. Press the TIMER button. Each time it is pressed, a time duration indicator light will illuminate (0.5, 1, 2, or 4 hours). Simply add up the time value of the lights to set the timer for up to 7.5 hours maximum time. To turn the timer function off, press the TIMER button continuously until all the timer indicator lights are off.

Accessed using the Remote Control, this fan has three operating modes that will work with oscillation control ON or OFF.

Normal – Fan speed is consistent with the speed chosen and operates like a standard fan.

Pulse – Fan will vary the speed from the highest fan speed chosen to very slow speed.

Sleep – Fan will vary the fan speed like pulse mode but it is timed to slow down after a period of time. The speed will change as follows:

Fan High Speed – When fan speed is set to HIGH, the fan will run varying from HIGH speed to very slow speed for 30 minutes, then run from MEDIUM to very slow speed for 30 minutes, then run from LOW speed to very slow speed for the duration of use.

Fan Medium Speed – When fan speed is set to Medium, the fan will run varying from MEDIUM speed to very slow speed for 30 minutes, then run from LOW speed to very slow speed for the duration of use.

Fan Low Speed – When fan speed is set to LOW, the fan will vary from LOW speed to very low speed for the duration of use.

To adjust the tilt angle, simply tilt the fan to the desired position. A ratcheting effect should hold the fan at the desired angle.

Cleaning: CAUTION-Before cleaning the fan, be sure to disconnect the power cord from the plug. Clean the grille surface with a clean damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemical or abrasive cleaners. DO NOT IMMERSE THE FAN OR ANY WIRES IN WATER. Replace the front grille before fan use. Allow the fan to dry completely before use. Periodic grille cleaning with a vacuum will prevent dust build-up.

Maintenance: The internal motor bearings are permanently lubricated at the factory and do not require any additional lubrication. The motor is sealed and does not require any further maintenance, cleaning, or lubrication.

Repair: DO NOT OPERATE THE FAN WITHOUT THE GRILLE IN PLACE. DO NOT USE THE FAN IF IT HAS MALFUNCTIONED OR BECOME DAMAGED IN ANY WAY.

Storage: Keep the original carton for storage of the fan. Coil and tie the power cord to avoid damage during storage.

This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

Fuse Replacement Steps:

1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.

2. Open the fuse cover by sliding the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.

3. Remove the fuse carefully. Use a small tool to pry the end of the fuse from the holder cavity. Be careful not to break the glass window.

4. Replace fuse. WARNING: Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with an identical 2.5 or 5.0 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (3.6mm x 10mm). Be sure the fuse is properly seated within its cavity.

5. Close the fuse cover by sliding it back to its original closed position.

As with all electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all the instructions before using this fan.

• Use this fan only as described in the manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause electrical shock, fire or injury to persons.

• Do not operate the fan with a damaged power cord or after the fan malfunctions or has been dropped in any manner.

• Use of extreme caution is necessary when any fan is used by or near children, disabled persons or pets and whenever the fan is left operating unattended.

• This fan is designed to be vertically mounted on the wall, using a wall bracket (included). Never operate the fan freestanding or attached to an unstable surface.

• Do not mount the fan on a small, unlevel, uneven or any surface which might allow the fan to tip or fall.

• For proper operation, the fan should be mounted on a smooth, non-combustible, level surface.

• Always unplug the fan when not in use, when moving from place to place, when assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.

• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause hazards.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Do not use the fan in a window. Rain may cause an electrical hazard.

• Do not operate the fan with blade guards or any safety device removed.

• Avoid the use of extension cords due to risk of fire. If an extension cord must be used, the cord must be a minimum 14 AWG and rated not less than 1875 watts.

• Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange the cord away from the traffic area where it will not be tripped over.

• Do not insert or allow any object to enter any openings on the fan. Doing so may cause electric shock and/or fire hazard. Avoid contact with moving parts.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

WARNING: Shock Hazard

• Use your fan only in dry environments. This fan is not intended for use in a bathroom, laundry area, or similar locations, or near sinks, washing machines, swimming pools or other sources of water. Never locate the fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other water receptacle. Do not use in damp environments such as flooded basements.

WARNING: Hot Surfaces

• Do not touch the fan motor when in use. This motor is hot when in use; to avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.

WARNING: Fire Hazard

• Fans have arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use near combustible materials, flammable gases or sources of heat. DO NOT USE in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable materials are used or stored. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage to the fan.

WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard

• Do not use with a damaged cord or plug. Use with an adequate electrical circuit that is up to code.

CAUTION: to Prevent Electric Shock

• This product has a polarized two prong plug (one blade is wider than the other) that must be fully inserted into a matching properly grounded outlet. This plug is designed to fit a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
